How to Compare Scores of 5 Variables and Display the Top 2 (Highest Scores) in the End Screen

I want to compare 5 variables’ values (scores) and Display the Top 2 (Highest Scores) in the End Screen.

@CraigMathews - comparing the 5 variables to find the top score is do-able within typeform but the logic to find the top two is very convoluted in typeform: essentially you need to find the top 1, then start the calculations all over again for the top score of the remaining 4 variables.

you are better served to move the results into Google Sheets (use the Connect feature in Typeform) and do the calculations over there..

.. and to echo the point @Grace raised, some of us occasionally even take some time off for vacations lol..

I have created 5 variables and 6th ‘v_compare’ variable for comparing variables values.

1. balanced_investor
2. cash_flow_creator
3. entrepreneurial_opportunist
4. passive_preservationist
5. wealth_builder
6. v_compare

I previously used a solution where I created a custom variable and compared two scores like this:
if balanced_investor > 0, add to v_compare
if cash_flow_creator > 0, subtract from v_compare
if v_compare > 0 → go to balanced_investor end screen
else → go to cash_flow_creator end screen

Hi @CraigMathews welcome to the community, and thanks for asking your question here 😊

You do need to allow time for people to read through and answer your question, we have members on different time zones so the Community isn’t always being checked.

I would recommend reaching out to the Typeform support team as well, if you haven’t already, just in case there isn’t someone available here to help you.

In the meantime, we do have this Help Center article that talks through showing different endings based on score if that would help?

Hey @CraigMathews just checking in, were you able to get everything set up with your variables and endings? Let us know if @john.desborough’s suggestion helped 😊
