Import an existing typeform file

I have a client that was given a copy of a typeform file - saved as an html file.

They would like to import this file into their own typeform account, and then make a few modifications. 

 

How can this be done?

Hi @granatdesign you can import it using the APIs above, but you are right, that it’s not possible to import it back directly in the builder. I can share this feedback with our product team.

Hi @granatdesign If you have the file as the JSON of the form, you could use our APIs here to upload all of the data.

thx, but that won’t work. Again, all I have is an html file. It seems strange that you can EXPORT a typeform file as an html file, but can’t import it back that way...
