Import Questions; Available functionality?

Hi,

I’m trying to create a full survey by copy pasting text into the “Import Questions” functionality. I’ve been able to automatically create all question types, statements, and the end screen. However, I’m unable to figure out how to do the following:

  • Include answers from prior questions in a later question
  • Add logic
  • Use an existing theme
  • Make a question required (or any additional toggles that would usually be on the left hand side like multiple selection)
  • Add descriptions

Is it possible to do any of the above with the “Import Questions” functionality? If so, can you please let me know? If not, is it possible with the chatGPT plugin or some other way outside of manually changing it?

Hi @han_palate Thanks for stopping by the community! To address each of the features you’re looking for: 

  • We don’t have a feature that would allow you to use answers from previous questions as the answers. All answer options need to be set ahead of time. 
  • As for logic, you can read more about this here. 
  • Where is your existing theme location? 
  • This article here can walk you through marking questions as required. 
  • You should be able to add descriptions under any of the questions like this:

Hey @Liz, could automated required questions be integrated to the Import Questions flow?
So when I add a * to the end of a question, it will import it as required?

It’s handy to import questions, which we devise in another document for better overview, but having to go over each question to mark them as required afterwards is a lot of work still.
