Is it possible to not have "enter" button automatically select the "Yes"

Hi there!

I am creating a short survey.

The second question is a yes/no question. If someone selects no, the final submit button comes up (as it should). However, if the user then clicks “enter” then “Yes” is selected and they are incorrectly moved to the next question.

Is there any way to fix this so that “Yes” is not selected when a user presses “enter”?

Thank you!

Hi @Hannah_24 Thanks for stopping by! Hitting the enter key is a quick key so the respondent can move forward in the form faster. Though, we don’t have a way to turn off the keyboard shortcuts I’m afraid. The only workaround I can think of offhand for this would be to use a multiple choice question and switch the yes/no so the ‘no’ is the default, but that isn’t the most ideal experience. :sob:

Thanks for your suggestion!

Not ideal, but I appreciate you taking the time to answer!

Not a problem! If you think of any other questions, let us know. :grinning:
