Hi @Jill Marshall and all that have upvoted this feature! I’ve been speaking to our Product team about this, as we know it’s been an ongoing request here in the community.
At the moment, Typeform does not offer a setting to remove the OK/Next button. Thanks to previous feedback, it’s something that has been raised during product prioritization discussions for further investigation. We’ve tested respondent navigation patterns (especially on mobile), and keeping a consistent, always-available “Next” action improves predictability and helps completion rates. The other challenge with removing the OK button was that it made the form difficult to navigate for folks using screen readers.
Because of that, we’re not prioritizing an option to hide it right now. We aim to keep navigation controls consistent across question types and devices, and a persistent button helps respondents understand how to progress through the form without hunting for controls.
If your goal is to reduce friction, one workaround could be to adjust the button text in your system messages to better match your tone (for example “Next” or “Continue”).
We’ll continue to track feedback on this request, so appreciate everyone’s thoughts and experiences with the functionality 🙏
