Typeform AI Rewriting Questions

Anyone having issues with the AI where you can paste your questions?

I pasted my 8 quiz questions but it keeps rewriting the questions and coming up with new ones.  One iteration took the questions exactly as I had pasted, but when I needed to make a change, it created its own.  No matter how many times I guide it on “ONLY using my questions” it makes its own, yet says it pasted the questions I gave it.

Anyone else having similar issues with this AI?  I know it’s still in Beta . . .

Thanks so much for providing all this information, @TiffanyM !

My team and I have reviewed your case in detail.

I want to share the following points with you:

  • Typeform AI can’t help you with setting up scores and outcome quiz just yet – we are working hard to expand it’s capabilities.
  • Typeform AI was not always behaving as expected when trying to import questions. This is why you were having issues when pasting your questions in the chat – Good news is we have now released a fix, so it should behave properly! 😄

Your input has been critical to identify what we need to improve – keep sharing any feedback you may have now or in the future, please.

Thanks so much!

Hello, @TiffanyM!

I’m Pol, the Product Manager building Typeform AI :)

Thanks so much for reporting the issue you are facing: it’s invaluable for us.

That’s definitely not the intended behavior: we have designed Typeform AI to follow the rules the user provides.

To be able to better steer the AI, it would be very useful to understand what happened in your case.

For that, we would need you to share the UID of the form using this typeform: https://tfproductops.typeform.com/typeformai

You can get the UID by navigating to your form and copy-pasting the page URL.

Thanks so much for your collaboration!

Hi Grace!  Thank you so much.  It worked once very well, so I can see the beauty in it, but then it started rewriting which was frustrating.  Appreciate your response!

Hi Pol! Thank you so much for your message.  Because of the adverse behavior, I had to manually input each question into the builder.  Do you still want me to send you the form?  It’s behaving now, only because I manually corrected it.  What is the best course of action?  Do you suggest I try to build the form again and record via Loom to see if the issue happens again?

Thank you so much for your guidance!

If you share the form UID with us, we will be able to anonymously see the answers generated by the AI.

This way we will be able to see what reasoning the AI used to change the wording of your questions against your instructions.

This will help us adjust the prompt of the feature to refine its behavior.

In other words, you don’t need to try again nor record any video :)

Thanks so much!

Thank you, Pol!  I’ve sent UIDs. The initial forms, I actually deleted it as well as the workspace because I was so frustrated.  Now, I’m having problems with scoring; it won’t allow me to change to pure scoring on a quiz.  I’ve deleted all previous logic, but keep receiving this message: “

Outcome quiz is already set up

To switch to Score quiz, first remove all Outcome quiz logic. Or combine different ending logic using Branching and calculations.”

I’m going to actually try the AI once again and I’ll let you know if it changes my answers; will send the UID.

Thank you!

Thanks so much!

So another form rewrote my questions.  So, I tried again and instead of asking for a welcome screen, I omitted that ask and copied my questions, including the welcome screen text (I just did not ask for the welcome screen to be created) and this time everything worked well!  I’ll send UID
