What are the best ways to go about training AI for Formless?

Hi There,

I’ve been loving Formless by Typeform and I tested a couple of features to see how I could engage audiences for my business. I directed Ai to lead people to relevant product pages but I noticed that often the responses include made up URLs. How do I set-up the AI training features so that it uses correct URLs to lead people to the product webpages. It quite accurately identifies relevant products based on the responses but not sure why it is making up links!

Any thoughts? 🤔

Hi @Aashi Happy Fri-yay! Glad to hear you’re loving Formless so far!

What I’ve found helpful when training the AI for my forms is the following:

  1. Have the AI scan your website, if you haven’t already.
  2. Include snippets of specific information. For example, if you have pricing you want your respondents to know, include that pricing in a snippet, even if it’s on your website.
  3. Next, in the prompts, be sure to give the AI parameters, such as, “Only share URLs from our website” or “Don’t let the respondent ask _____.”

Let me know how those work for you!

Thanks, Liz! I’ve tested your recommendations and it helped a little, however, with some prompts, it still tends to make up URLs (even when I specified it to use URLs from our website).

🟡 I’m not sure if it is able to scan our website URLs effectively. Any ideas on how we can improve this aspect?

Say, we have over 200 products that fall under 10 categories and each category as its own landing page, with a URL for individual products too.

🟡 Do you think it might help if we provide it documents or snippets detailing it out in the following way:
Product categories » Category URLs » Products » Product URLs

All thoughts welcome! 📝

One thing that really worked well for me, @Aashi , was to put the URL of my website’s site map in the URL training section! This worked a lot better than adding the url of my website directly.

As for the snippets question, yes! I would definitely recommend that. I think that might be easier for the AI to read than sifting through the website.

Let me know how it goes with these updates!
