Generally the redirect feature will only work for redirecting to a webpage or URL, how are you thinking of setting this up? Maybe there’s a workaround here depending on the use case!

For anybody asking, redirecting to a mailto:EMAIL link will definitively work.
Upon clicking the link, the respondent's default email client will open, with the To field conveniently pre-filled with the email address.
You can even personalize this link further passing the subject and the body of the message:
mailto:user@example.com?subject=Message Title&body=Message Content
