Hi Typeform Community and Experts!

I have embedded Typeform on my blog pages.

Some examples:

https://blog.cashfree.com/integrated-payment-system/

https://blog.cashfree.com/what-is-a-payment-gateway-india/

It works perfectly fine on laptop and non-AMP mobile version.

However, on the AMP version, it just  shows a whitespace where the Typeform embed should have been.

Exhibit A:

Hwow can I fix this? Please help.

Hi @eteedubey Welcome to the community! Happy to have you here.

I tested the links you sent, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. Do you have different links/locations that the embed is located where you’re experiencing this issue?

Hi Liz,

Thanks for your reply, great to be here!

Are you testing the blog link on the AMP version?

Like I mentioned, the embed is functioning normally otherwise. However, if a user uses the AMP version of the blog, it just shows a whitespace instead of the embed.

Here is the AMP link (to be tested on mobile) + screenshot for your reference.

Hi Liz,

You can try the following steps to reproduce the issue that we are facing

Step1: visit link “https://blog.cashfree.com/integrated-payment-system/amp/” on mobile device

This will open the amp version of the webpage, where the Typescript is showing white space

Else

Step2: As etee mentioned Visit this link on Mobile device “https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.cashfree.com/integrated-payment-system/amp/

Hi @eteedubey @Vinayak Purshan Thank you! I tried using the links above, and I’m still able to see the form. Are you able to try on a different device to see if the same issue occurs?

Hey @eteedubey and @Vinayak Purshan! Did you have time to try the links in a different device? That'd be important so we can understand this behaviour! Hope you have a great day! :pray_tone2:

Hi @eteedubey ,

I may be missing something? Is there AMP support for Typeform? We’re also looking for something like that.

No AMP support. It still  shows whitespace.

@eteedubey I’m not sure why you’re seeing a whitespace - I do see your Typeform inside an AMP-iframe.

It is visible on MOBILE version.

However not on AMP MOBILE VERSION.

 EXample: “https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.cashfree.com/integrated-payment-system/amp/

This is what I’m seeing. It seems to work. It doesn’t show up for you?

are you opening this exact link in mobile or laptop?

it will show up on laptop, NOT mobile…

So I Checked this as well. it works (Chrome, Android).

this is not adding up...its not visible on Google AMP version for me
tried through various mobile devices to double check… its not visible ...

folks - raise a help ticket with Typeform Support to get a second vector of support - they may be better equipped to help address than in this peer-based group.

just a thought

Please update when (if) the official support gets back to you. I’d love to get their input.

The only difference I can think of between us is the geo. Other than that I don’t any other candidates for whey it’s working for me and not for you.

I came here to understand if Typeform work in AMP. I think the answer is yes, but we’ll have to build the integration ourselves - they don’t provide a built in AMP compatible tag.

FYI - if you’ll require further AMP development, that’s what we do - we turn sites into AMP compatible and manage everything: ampify.io
