Unique endings for scores, but with an optional question

Hello Typeform community!

We created a 2-question satisfaction survey that use scores to direct customers to different endings. Each question awards 1-5 points (1 for least satisfied, 5 for most satisfied). If they give us a perfect 10, we ask them to write a Google review.

We want to add one optional survey question triggered by a Yes/No. If they answer No, they won’t see the optional question, so a perfect score is still 10. If they answer Yes, they will see the optional question, so a perfect score is now 15.

With this optional question, is there a way to structure the survey so we still only ask for Google reviews for perfect scores?

We’re concerned that someone could rate us 5 + 5 + 1 and then leave a Google review complaining about the 1.

For anyone looking for a solution, I finally figured it out. You just need to add 5 points when the customer answers No to skip the optional question.

  • If they select 5, then 5, then skip the optional question they get 15 points.
  • If they select 5, then 5, then 5 on the optional question, they get 15 points.

Then we only show the Google review ending to scores of 15.

Hi @adoss Yes, this is definitely possible! You would just need to use logic jumps to show that question based on their previous scores. In the logic jumps, you can add a greater than/less than criteria to show that yes/no question accordingly!
