GAAAAAAAAAHHHHELP! Calculations with Multiple Variables

This question is really kicking me in the shin. I feel like I’m SO close but it’s not quite the right answer; I got 3.92% when I should have 4.08% using 102 for the LTV 60d and 98 for the average first order revenue 60d.

The correct formula in excel is ((B8-B7)/B7)*100, where B8 is ltv_60d and B7 is avg_1st_ order_revenue_60d. But I’m having a very hard time figuring out how to properly place this in Typeform.

Can anyone look at the screenshot and tell me where I’m going wrong? I’m a beginner to Typeform and I’ve been at this for hours..”sixtyday_incremental_rev_growth” is then recalled in this slide to show this statistic to the quiztaker before they move on to another part of the quiz.

@john.desborough - that didn’t work for me, but I did figure it out over the weekend - I needed to switch placements of variables -  and managed the run the calcs for the remainder of my quiz. Tested and verified accuracy. :)

Would you happen to have any guidance on how people are setting up results pages on their websites based on variables, calculations and scores from Typeform? I’d like to redirect people to a page on a Wordpress site that gives a final score, breaks down score segments (already have the variables for all that) and also provides recommendations and advice based on the specific areas they fell short of the benchmark, based on their quiz results. I can’t code, so if I needed to hire for that, who should I be looking for / what role? Is that just a dev person to code it or is there an easier, no-code way to DIY this that I’m not thinking of?

Thanks in advance!

@john.desborough  I hear you’re a whiz and genius with this sort of stuff; perhaps you could please take a look?

@KRA2023 - some people say i am a legend in my own mind. lol

what i would suggest is to NOT use the always feature.. i have found it to be a bit erratic when there are multiple on the same question..

i have more consistent success using simple step-wise logic like this:

  • if A is gt 0 then subtract v_1 from v_2

using a series of simple steps ensures that the values  you want are created simply and the whole calculation is done in the proper sequence.. i know it makes the suite of logic rules look a little clunky but it seems to work better for me.

just my thought
