Hi, I’m trying to customize my contact form in VideoAsk. I want to be able to ask for First and Last name Company name Job titleI was able to override the field names but the formatting of the email and phone remain the same for the respondent. So even for company name, it is requested to have the following format email@example.com.I could use the Free text to gather this info but it seems a bit tedious for the person answering. Any thoughts?
Hi lovely people,I can’t find a way to change the ‘contact details’ text, which currently reads “Before we continue, please leave your contact details so we can get back to you.” Is there some way to edit this?Related, I created a ‘next’ button but it says in the middle of the video. There are some steps in my VideoAsk where I don’t want to have video.Instead, I want a still image in monochrome, it would provide a solid background for the overlay text, eg. black or white. I’d like users to read the text without the distraction of motion or multicolor behind it.None of the available options enable me to upload an image. The library has Pexels and Gify which all move and the Upload only supports video formats.A clunky workaround is to upload a black or white video but that brings up the ‘Play’ button which is redundant in this instance.Is there a simpler way to achieve a still, monochrome background?
Hi, I want to exclude videoask from showing on a subdirectory of a site and all the pages that are associated to that subdirectory.I have the code to exclude videoask from specific urls (https://codepen.io/videoaskhelp/pen/wvoPXpj)but I’m not sure how to modify this script so that it excludes the widget from showing on all pages under that sub directory Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I am in the process of setting up a HubSpot integration for my VideoAsk. Ideally I am seeing if I can do this via the integration VideoAsk provides, versus Zapier (as there is an associated cost with Zapier to consider). However, when I go to map the fields, it shows a range to choose from (including some that I want). But certainly not all. The properties all come under “Contact Information” in HubSpot. But I am wondering if there is a limit in the display of options provided for the integration? And if so, what the best way is to manage this? Would for example removing some redundant properties that arent being used from HubSpot maybe allow these options to show?Thanks!
Hello community, I'm a huge fan of VideoAsk—it's one of my favourite tools. I'm now integrating it into a new community platform I'm developing on Circle. My aim is to tailor the onboarding experience for the community members. Specifically, I plan to use VideoAsk to gather preferences from members when they log into the community. Their responses will help funnel them into Circle spaces or groups that match their interests.To make this work, I intend to use known member information, such as their email and name, and append these details into the VideoAsk URL through custom parameters. This approach though leaves me wondering if there's more to it or if I'm missing an important piece of the puzzle. Has anyone here tackled a similar integration or has expertise with this setup? Hello,I am trying to create an ADHD questionnaire on your platform. Each question would require its own video. This issue is the logic would become fairly complicated due to the scaled answers.At the end I’d like to provide an indication of ADHD. If the participant places their answer in any 6 of the grey areas this would yield a positive indication. Is this possible to do?

Hello,I am new to video ask and trying to create a welcome message for our website that has multiple choice questions to qualify our leads and ends with a contact form. But I want the questions on top of the video, like the Tate Law example, and not to the side. But I don't see how to change this to create it that way. Thank you for your help.

I’m unable to change from my Macbooks default camera and mic to the external ones connected. They show up in the menu but nothing happens when I click them. Things I’ve tried:Cleared cache and cookies Tried a different browser (had the same issue) Check Loom and Zoom; both were able to switch to the external cam and mic Any help would be awesome!
Hi. We want to send our VideoAsk answers to HubSpot using the HubSpot integration. Everything is fine until we have to choose an option to match with any HS field. This is the message that appears in the select field: “There are no fields available to select - please contact the integration administrator”We checked already that the contact form option is activated, and the email field is mandatory. This is happening with all our videos.
Hi,I have an existing Web App that has its own user (contact in VideoAsk terms) creation infrastructure.As part of the onboarding process, users will first sign up in the existing app, and then will be asked to provide video answers via the VideAsk embedded iframe.Once all video answers are collected and transcoded, I want to downloaded the video answers and connect them to the existing user via the web app’s DB. This will be done via a the form_response web hook.I thought of one of these ways to complete the integration, but I have a few gaps in each one of them, and would love to get your thoughts on how to overcome these gaps:Create the VideoAsk contact via the https://api.videoask.com/respondents API, and then pass the contact ID to the VideoAsk iframe ==> Missing gap here: Does the iframe support such an option? If so, what is the URL parameter name? I will pass my Web App’s user ID to the VideoAsk iframe; VideoAsk will create the contact, and then the web hook will get this ID
I run a membership community and I want to send an onboarding videoask to all new members with 4 steps they have to complete. Each step has its own external link and I’d love to be able to explain in each step with a video why each step matters.I’ve not found the best way to execute this. Each step has a link that leads them to sign up somewhere else but I want them to always come back to it every time they complete that task.My idea was also to integrate this into the email sequence they’ll receive after joining the community. I use MailerLite Classic but I’m considering switching to FloDesk.

I designed a VideoAsk with 8 videos and published it on my Wix website.I had only 6 interactions with those videos and I got this message: "This 'videoask' is no longer accepting new answers"Did any of you have a similar problem?
