Apostrophe being added to Google sheets responses

I’m using the Matrix question type where users will select “True” or “False to a series of questions. The True and False responses come through to my Google Sheet with an apostrophe in front of them (‘TRUE and ‘FALSE).

Is there a way to prevent that from happening? I’m using a formula to count the number of TRUE responses vs the number of FALSE responses and the apostrophe is throwing off my results. Find and Replace isn’t working to try to get rid of the apostrophe.
