Phone number format in Salesforce integration

Our Salesforce account records phone numbers using the “+1” international format. We use this to sort out duplicate submissions.

Is there a way to get phone numbers from Typeform into our SF in that format using the phone field? I didn’t see that option anywhere.

Hi @srhom Thanks for stopping by the community! If you’re using the phone field, it should automatically add the international dialing prefix, but we don’t have a way to add the + to it.

I just heard back from my SF team. I have this request wrong. We need the international prefix taken off. Is there a way to do that?

Hi @srhom I’m afraid not, at least not in our native integration. But, it could be worth trying with Zapier. I haven’t personally tried their formatter, but I believe it would help pass the data without that prefix. (I think you’d use the text split here - don’t quote me on this!)

I’ll look into Zapier. Thanks Liz!
