I also reached a blocked Google Permissions. I have all my permissions open and this hasn’t been a problem with ay other authentications. I’m using a personal account 😥

Seems like this is a real bug. Clearing the cache did nothing for me. Is the dev team aware of this bug/are they working on a fix?

Edit: Maybe not a bug but a sign that the UA may be outdated? Photo from my google account settings about this kind of blocking for apps allowing authentication.

when i try to connect google to imprt a form it shows App is blocked???

Hello Community,

When I attempt to import a Google Form into Typeform, I get an error message when I authenticate my Google email address. The message reads, “This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.” How can I unblock this?

Hmmmm, I'm surprised that this thread started 4 months ago and there doesn't yet seem to be a solution for people with personal google accounts. Does typeform not want solopreneurs and small organizations as customers? 

Or, am I missing the answer somewhere? Please let me know if I am; unfortunately, this time I'll have to stay with google forms since I can't find a workaround. 

 

Also, I disagree with Liz. Life is a series of snacks separated by awkward moments.

Hi ​@Skip Swanson Are you receiving this error on a personal account? I don’t believe it should be an issue with a personal account (just business), but let us know if so!

Also, I think you’re right. How could I have not realized that what separates the snacks ARE the awkward moments?! 😂

I also tried importing a Google Form using my personal Gmail account, but I encountered the same "This app is blocked" pop-up same in the first post.

I attempted authentication on two different PCs, but the issue persists on both. I think that the problem is not related to a specific PC.

I am using a personal Google account and trying to connect typeform to import Google Forms and am getting this blocked message: ““This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.” 

I tried Chrome and Safari.  I’ve cleared the cache/cookies.

I have several very long forms I’d love to import!
