Is it possible to show a question only if the user answered another question in a certain way. I am familiar with the logic functionality. My question related to having 12 different questions that I only want answered if the user clicks to answer them on a certain multiple choice page. The user can click multiple. E.g. the user clicks option 1, 3, and 5 or only clicks option 2 or clicks non. In the first case I only want the questions for 1, 3, and 5 asked. In the second case, I only want the questions for 2 asked. In the 3rd case I don’t want any follow up pages. I am aware of the logic fucntionality BUT it would be extremely challenging to set up this rather simple scenario. Much easier implementation would be if there were just a show if feature. Is there a way to do that?
Hello, I'm experiencing several problems with a Typeform (professional subscription) that I created. This Typeform is used as a tutorial to guide my customers through an administrative process. Here are the errors encountered: 1) The description text displays duplicates. I don't understand where this is coming from? Even after deleting the text and reinserting it, the problem persists. 2) I've added animated GIFs, but they appear fixed, like simple PNG images. What can I do? 3) When my question has only one answer, the box is already checked. I'd like it to be unchecked so that the customer can check it himself. How can I disable the predefined checkbox?  Thanks for your help Â
Hi there! I have created a personality test on Typeform. I have added score values to each answer for each of the 50 questions. Now I'm trying to set up my results pages so that the user is taken to the appropriate ending depending on the scores received for 5 variables. The variable that scores the highest has its own end page. But I am unsure how to set this up. For example: IF VC_score > EC_score AND VC_score > AS_score AND VC_score > RD_score AND VC_score > SG_score THEN jump to VC Results Page. The next 4 endings would be similar formulas, just replacing the initial variable until I have a results page (ending) for EC, AS, VC, and RD.Any advice is very appreciated!  Shannon :)
Hello :)  I'm looking for someone who could help me. I'm not very good at computers.I'll explain my problem to you. I have a question called: What are your needs? People can respond to several needs and depending on it redirects to other questions. When the person chooses for example that "brain", it does not pose a problem and it goes to the questions of "brain". On the other hand, when she chooses "brain", "energy" and other needs, it only takes into account brain issues and not the rest. I don't know if you understood. But that's my main problem.Thank you very much 🙏🏼Â
Trying to create a followup wherein i send results to participants and I’m getting the following error -- when will this be updated? any workarounds?   Email editing temporarily disabledThe ability to edit email content is temporarily disabled to prevent misuse. In the meantime, you can set up Zapier and/or Slack integrations. If you have further questions please contact support.
Is there a way to capture a user’s country and city using a drop down option without having to add all the countries and cities manually? I was hoping to create something similar to how the phone number drop down works but without the phone number and once country is selected it would prompt the user to choose from a drop down of cities within the country selected.  Is this possible? Any workarounds to capture this info for easy reporting? Thanks!
I cannot for the life of me find where to change the layout. I don’t want the entire page to be an image, I want the image on one side and the text on the other. Please tell me how to do this..
Hi,I have created a typeform that generates a fairly complex email notification for respondents. I need to use this as a master template for many events but when I duplicate the form it does not also duplicate the email. Is there a way of being able to duplicate the form maintaining all settings? Thanks!Ella
Hi, I would like to allow my customers to choose multiple answers, not only one answer from multiple options. Is that possible?Best wishesJana
Hi! I was studying this example from the Typeform website but I don’t know how the text form connects with everything else. My text answers only have the “is equal to” “is not equal to” “contains”… Do you know how the formula works with these? thank youÂ
When I have a multiple choice question, with the mult-selection option, then I download CSV or XLS, and it only shows whats been selected, doesnt show the question?
I need some help. We recently connected Slack to Typeform but noticed that some forms can be answered directly in Slack, while others can’t. Why is this happening?
On my survey, if a client does not enter someone for one of their advisor fields, there should be an additional question that appears asking if we can connect them with one. How do I create the logic so that:If something is entered on page 3, then it displays page 4, omits page 5, and proceeds to page 6 if nothing is entered on page 3, then it displays page 5, and proceeds to page 6Thank you!
Is there a way to have the logo and group header show at the same time. As soon as I add a logo the group header goes away and my questions still don’t have numbers in front of them… it’s just “a” , “b” , “c”
When we create a survey via APi it is published without problems and we can see it in the URL. No questions until that moment. But when we add a question the publication is lost and we see the message "Sorry, you can't access this typeform until its creator says so ". What could be the reason? We do everything via API. Thanks.
We have a form that captures name and email for the form submitter and then request other specific company data (website, location, etc). We want to capture this info but also allow them to resubmit another company if they’d like. We added logic to ask if they want to submit another company and bring them back to an earlier step but it keep the original info submitted. How can we capture this but then ask if they like to resubmit again??
Hi Typeform Community,We at Springlearns, a professional training solutions provider, are looking to streamline how we collect feedback from participants in our training programs. We’re exploring ways to make the feedback process more engaging and to gather actionable insights using Typeform.Could you share best practices or tips for the following:Designing forms that encourage higher response rates from busy professionals. Leveraging conditional logic to tailor feedback questions based on the type of training participants attended. Integrating Typeform responses with tools like Google Sheets or our CRM to automate feedback analysis and reporting. Any creative ideas for making the feedback process feel more conversational and interactive. We’d love to hear about any templates, use cases, or integrations you’ve used successfully.Thank you in advance for your insights!Best regards,Springlearns Team
I’m experiencing an issue with my survey where calculation rules are not saving. I’ve set up a score-based quiz, where I need to assign point values to responses in order to calculate a total score. However, every time I try to add the calculation rule (using either the "Score" option or manually inputting a number), the rule doesn’t save. The “Jump to” rules seem to be working fine, but the calculation rules are consistently disappearing after I save and exit. I’ve tried:Clearing my browser cache and using an incognito window. Testing on different devices and browsers. Recreating the form with fewer questions to simplify the process.Despite these efforts, the rules I am putting in are not saving and thus the calculation functionality is not working. Can someone please help. Thanks
Hi,Is there a way to build 2FA into the form when a customer enters their email address? Ideally a code sent to their email address that they can then input into the form?If not, what is the best way to achieve verification of a customer? We would like to use this for returning customers without them having to repeat the whole form again. Many thanksGary
I’m serving up a question that offers a user 13 choices. Users can select any combination of the 13 choices. Most will choose only 2 or 3. The challenge I’m having is that after sending the user to a yes/no followup for each of their choices, the Typeform is sending them back to the start of the queue of followups. In other words, if a user selects choices 3 and 6 and 9, the Typeform is successfully sending them to the yes/no followup question for 3, 6, and 9, but then sending them to 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13 before going to the end section. How do i prevent this?
My form at https://www.bethin.co/start is broken on mobile. I am using an iPhone 13 mini. My website is using squarespace. The form works in preview and it looks like it works below but not on my website on an actual mobile phone. I am embedding it with the following link Â
Hi,We have got a serious issue with wrong email addresses entered through the forms. We ask for the email address once and some users enter things like: gmai.com, hoymail.com, gmail.con, gmmail.com, etc etc. Then, when we manage the collected data, we send emails to dozens of wrong email addresses and lose potential leads. We wanted to add 2 fields asking for the email address, so users must enter this information in two separate fields and if they do not match the form does not allow them to continue the process (this is something we see on plenty of forms, mostly when asking to set up a password). That change would minimise the negative impact of this issue. Do you know whether there is a way to do this with Typeform and how (or the link to the documentation page)? Thanks in advance.
Hi! I want to implement diagnostic assessment as dynamic, adaptive questioning and now in search of tools, frameworks, and approaches for the implementationConcept overview:Question pool: I have a set of N questions, each assigned a specific difficulty level. Adaptive logic: The test begins with a question of medium difficulty. After each response, the system updates the student's proficiency level and selects the next question to ensure there's a 50% probability the student can answer it correctly. If the student answers correctly, the subsequent question becomes more challenging; if not, it becomes easier.Key Functionality:All questions and their difficulty levels are stored in an external database. The form dynamically generates the next question immediately after the current one is answered, based on the updated student level.Goal:I have programming experience and aim to design a solution that functions well as an MVP and is scalable for future enhancements.Question:  I'm planning
Hi!I’m trying to build out a quiz that is in 3 sections. Each section would have about 5 questions in the opinion scale format. I want to see /calculate the scores of each section but have it all within one quiz so the user doesn't have to take 3 separate quizzes.  Can that be done? Thanks,Laura
I am doing a survey and I would like to add a section where, depending on the answers a client gave me at the beginning, I give him/her a choice between a set of randomised questions. Can this be done?Â
