VideoAsk conversations

Many VideoAsk respondents are checking with us if we received their submission. It is very time consuming to respond to everyone individually. Is it possible for the respondents to receive a confirmation email once they completed or submitted their VideoAsk? Thanks!

I have embedded a VideoAsk in my Typeform. It appears with rounded corners. Is it possible to remove the rounded corners and have square corners instead? 

I’m trying to collect some data from potential customers. One of the fields we need to provide a pricing estimate is the square footage of their home. Right now, we’re just going to collect the number they tell us and then our customer service team would build a proper quote and email them. But, I can eliminate a couple steps if I can take the square footage number they gave us and and compare it against a google sheet that has the pricing data.I did pose this question direct to videoask, and they did show me a way with conditional logic. However, there are thousands of possibilities of what people could say and using their method and I would need to create each one as an option.We price things in 300 square foot blocks. So if someone’s house is between 1901 and 2200 square feet, the answer would be the same. I could do it with something like VLOOKUP in google sheets, but I don’t know how to integrate that into the videoask (or if it’s even possible). 

hi it”s possible to translate title for question when i add the custom langage in the form ? for example if have in the form   "custom_language": { "custom_language_id": "3f5fd676-52f2-4c9c-824f", "organization_id": "8028ac8", "id": "3f5fd676-52f2-4c9c-8cf27224f", "name": "deutch", "base_language": "de-DE", "values": {} }, can i use this custom_langage_id in the question to have list of translation ? thanks Cédric 

Is there a way to disable the download button on the “Share all interactions” page? I’d love to share the video replies for the public to see, but don’t want it to be so easy for them to download and save the video.I’ve looked all over but can’t find any settings to turn the download button off. Any tips would be great! Thanks!  

I’d like to host a game show style trivia contest via Video Ask, 12 questions, multiple choice and curated via video. I’d like to limit the amount of time the user has to lock in their final answers to each question, if possible. Upon completion of the 12 questions, I’d like the user to learn how many questions they answered correctly but without revealing which questions exactly they answered correctly (i.e. 8 out of 12). I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do this, can you please help?

We provide carers with a VideoAsk link where they can answer a set of questions to create their own video. We then download the videos and then upload them to the carer’s app profile, for the families to view.Question: When publishing a video - is it possible in the edit to show the Viewer the questions being asked, before they see the respondents answer?Thanks for your thoughts.

Has anyone tried embedding a VideoAsk video? Is there a way to do that so it’s not publicly searchable?In addition, does anyone know how to remove the “Get Started” button from a VideoAsk video? I don’t want to use the VideoAsk to collect information or take action. I just want it to host a non-publicly searchable video that’s embedded in my Typeform. 

I want to keep the prompt to the question visible while the user is replying or submitting their video / response.  Is this possible? 

 Hi,  I have created a TF using a few Video ask questions. I would like the Video ask questions to be mandatory. I don’t see an option do that at the moment. Is there a workaround for it? 

The contact form that VideoAsk offers to collect contactdetails at any chosen step, has a predefined text introduction. It suggests that contactdetails are wanted in order to “contact you”.But I will not and I don’t want my contact to think so either.They just booked their future consult with me already, and that will do.I use this Videoask to let us prepare a bit for this consult already. No need for prior “contacting you”. How can I adjust this predefined text?

Hi, is it possible to integrate a “back-button” so that users can correct an answer they gave? This would be very helpful to decrease the bounce rate. Thanks!  

Anyone have any experience exporting VideoAsk transcripts to NVivo (for qualitative analysis)?

I’ve been testing my VIDEOASK and it’s collected some “user” data. I would rather delete that data than copy the video and re paste all the urls.

I have a videoask on my website, but I would like it to appear after a few seconds on the web. Can this be controlled from the script somehow? Does anyone know a bit of programming or if this is possible. It is that what I do not want is that it loads immediately when a user accesses the web

I created a videoask and have placed it on a squeeze page/landing page.   I need to run an ad on Facebook but arent sure if I should boost it, run detailed ad, or what method? Also, I do not have a facebook pixel anymore.  Do we still need that to run an ad?I already know how to share it, just arent sure where! I appreciate your assistance.  

Hei! When i use ?fullscreen and ?justvideo i the code to the movies, they dosent appear the same in every browser.In Chrome its the way it should be, but in Safari and Firefox its not the same. ..Erik

Is there an integration that can forward / send the video viewer’s response to my email account?  I understand that I receive a notification, but I am looking to receive the video, audio or text response itself.

Hi,I would like to create a Videoask where the user can download a different file at each step. I tried to use advanced logic and to create a button that redirects to an url (to a file in dropbox), but it should be opened in another window. Is there some syntax that would work to pass the blank window target? Or is it a functionality that doesn’t exist yet?Thanks!

I have a series of VideoAsks with question prompts.  I want the text overlay to stay up on the screen at the end so that viewers can refer to the question while they’re answering.  For all but one of the videos, it works fine, but for one of them, the text disappears at the end of the video and I can’t figure out how to change that setting.  I see how to adjust the length of time it stays up, but that just makes it start further back into the video, which isn’t what I want.  I want the text overlay to start near the end of the video and the STAY there after the video ends.  Would love any guidance from the community, thank you!
