Build your typeform

I have prepared video footage to accompany a question within a Typeform questionnaire. I was under the impression that I would be able to upload an .MP4 file using ‘Add Image or Video’ to a ‘Statement’ question type, yet it says only JPG, PNG or GIP are supported formats, and only up to 4MB.  Is there another way that I can use the video clip that I have prepared to accompany a question? I have tried adding the file to our Brand Kit but to no avail.  Thanks in advance. 

I use a Typeform for a lengthy questionnaire that has its own subpage on my website.  (https://hilarybeckwith.com/candida-questionnaire)I would like to also create a pop-up Typeform for my main landing page that only has some text and a button that links TO that subpage. Due to the lengthy format of the questions, I don’t like the idea of the questionnaire itself being used in the pop-up.Is this a possibility without using hyperlinked text? Would prefer a button, as that looks much nicer.

Hello,I have a question about how Typeform handles its question limit in free plan. I'm wondering if Typeform starts counting the responses after the first response or resets monthly? for example on 1 July it resets. Thank you, 

Help!I’m trying to do multiple calculations summing up a total value while also calculating a “graded” score based off number values and then multiple choice questions. Is it possible to Add a Two step equation into one calculation while also using the same variable in a different question without affecting the value of the original value? This is the simple one:the calculation would be something like this. Based off of answers to Q4 which is value based (number). Ex Answer= 3 ADD to Leads Then if answers to Q7 is A,B, or C, thanMultiply Leads by 2 Difficult Part:Answer Q2:If answer in Q8 are B or C than multiply (Answer Q2) by 50%(Leads) is this possible? How Do I set up variables to create multi step calculations like this?!   

Hey there, brand new to TypeForm and I’m sure theres a way to accomplish what I’m after I just can’t figure it out. Essentially I need to be able to direct to a specific ending page based on both answers to specific questions, AND numeric values of variables I’ve created. For example One question would be “Are you okay with opening a credit card that has an annual fee” -- obviously thats an easy yes or no. But another question would be “how many cards have you opened in the last 24 months?” where they would enter a number. I want to be able to say IF they answered yes, AND the numeric value they entered on question 2 was “less than 5”, than send them to ending page A. etc.  Later on I also want to be able to incorporate a custom variable I’ve created which is essentially the SUM of numerical answers from about 7 questions. I set up each question to add the value of answer given to the variable count. But I can’t find a way to incorporate that variable into my ending page logic?Hopefull

Hi, I hope I can get some help here. I’m struggling with logic connections. In one of my forms I have a multiple choice question. The problem starts when the respondent choose more than one option, then only one connector is taken in consideration. The result is that the respondent cannot answer the rest of the form, as the final message come out. Thanks a lot for your help!Renato from Paris

How would you prompt a respondent when asking a client for a video review of our services?It seems most of our clients are maybe too shy or nervous to be on camera for some reason.

Hi, is it possible to create a quiz with points for each answer that in the end of the quizz the respondee gets the score? Because now I’ve created the quizz, and when somebody takes the quizz they don’t see the final score, only I can see it. I want them to see how many points they scored. Thank you.

New to the community and unsure if this is discussed in a prior thread.  Apologies in advance if it has.Question about using logic workflows for a client-facing survey.Current workflow:A user selects one of 5 categories and logic takes them through a series of questions related to that category.  At the end of those questions, the user is returned to the category list to either 1) select another category and answer the next questions, or 2) end the survey. Desired outcome:The user chooses a category » answers associated questions » returns to category screen which somehow shows them that they’ve completed the category but still allows them to select another category or end survey. I can’t figure a simple way to achieve this.

When I try to show instant results using branching, an error that says “You can't jump back to a skipped question or a different question branch.” Keeps appearing. However, there are examples on the site of branching that uses my exact format (shown in the photo below). How can I avoid this error?  

Hello, I’m building a typeform for my workplace and by our back office compliance we are required to have two logos, ours and the parent company logo. How would I insert two logos (ideally one in each bottom corner). Which brings me to my next question- I found the way to insert a logo on a slide, but do not see an option to reposition it (in the way that you are able to reposition an image in a number of various layouts). Is this possible, if so how do I change the location of our brand’s logo? Thank you!

Hi community,I’m creating a personality quiz with 6 possible personality/archetype results. There are 11 questions with six options each in a MCQ format, each option corresponding to a archetype. However, I realised there can be several instances of a tie in result which a normal outcome quiz doesn’t cater to. Do you know how I can use variables and/or branching + calculations to fix this?Thanks!

Hi, Thanks in advance.  I’m developing a set of forms with quite complex logic that redirects across multiple different forms (e.g. 20+). Users will be submitting personal and sensitive information. Typeform is one part of our app stack, with the others being a separate front-end and back-end which receives webhook payloads. I’ve been using hidden variables like first_name, last_name and DOB from the first typeform attached to the redirecting urls but am concerned about the security / vulnerability of this. These hidden variables allows users to be tracked and data linked across multiple forms and via webhooks (so that users are not mixed up on our end).My question is about optimising encryption and security, given that these identifying variables are in urls. Typeform says data are encrypted ‘in-transit’ but I assume this does not apply to these urls? Is there anyway I can encrypt, then decrypt these variables in transit between forms or without them being ‘public’? Hello everyone, I created a survey to ask our customers about different statement. They can rate the statement from I totally disagree to I fully agree clicking on different smileys that I inserted through the Picture choice. When I know take the report of my data, the response in the Excel is however “I totally disagree” but should be just the number “1” to facilitate data analysis. Where can I substitute the phrase “I totally disagree” to “1” in the background so my customers can click on the I totally disagree smiley and when I export the data, I can calculate with the 1 and don’t have to substitute them myself. Second question: In the results the given order of the picture choice questions are not in the correct order (→ it says: I totally disagree, neutral, disagree,...). Why is it not in the correct way as they have the choices in the question How can I change that? Thank you for your help.  

I believe we're in need of a slightly different question type to those available, or perhaps I'm missing something.Essentially, we require something that resembles the 'Matrix' type with pre-formatted rows - i.e. 'Project 1;' 'Project 2;' 'Project 3' etc. - and columns - i.e. 'Type;' 'Location;' 'Size;' 'Cost' etc. - whereby participants of the survey can input a series of number variables within the available cells. Is there a solution for this?Failing that, my thoughts are that we could request a pre-formatted Excel/similar spreadsheet from survey participants using the 'File Upload' type, but we'd like to make said spreadsheet available to them within the survey itself, i.e. via a 'File Download' option. Is that something we're able to do? Open to suggestions.

Hi all, I’m trying to make my typeform shareable so that when a user completes the form, they can send it to friends. Is there a share feature here? This is ideal for the mobile user who can then quickly send the form via sms, whatsapp, IG, email etc. I’m picturing the share icon but will settle for a button or even a hyperlink.

I guess my question is, is there any criteria that you need to follow for the welcome screen and do you have any tips on how to make it more appealing in this context ?Any help would be appreciated.
