Hey all,Just wondering if anyone knows a way to customize the progress bar at all?It just seems that ours really blends in with the background, making it very difficult to see with most colour themes. I searched around the community but didn't find much other than the toggle on/off selection. Thanks in advance.
I submitted a support request but realized I should probably ask here too - What I’m trying to accomplish seems pretty basic, but I can’t figure out how to do it.In short, what I want is to avoid asking for information I already have, for example email.I’d like to have logic that works like this: “If email (the url paramter) is not empty...” (this part is actually very easy) “set the contact’s email address to that value” (this part I can’t figure out). Same with the person’s name. If I have their name, I also have their email (in other words, for people on my mailing list already where I have all that info collected). What I was able to do so far is: collect the URL parameters, branch based on the values of those, use the URL parameters OR the question responses for email or name in a question (via the @ recall). The farthest I can get is responses with email as a hidden field while the actual email address is left empty.
Hello Typeform community 👋Quick question: when using the image answer mode, is it possible to reduce the size of the answer images?I’ve only seen the option on the right to toggle “supersize” on/off, but nothing in between. It feels a bit limiting — especially when you want more compact layouts.Am I missing something, or is this not currently supported? Thanks in advance!
How do I add multiple checkboxes so that my survey-taker can CHECK ALL THAT APPLY??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? This seems like it should be a really obvious and ‘easy’ thing, so I’m not sure why it’s not?? There is work to be done here Typeform, sorry. This is my first time using this platform and I’m already so confused I am thinking of bailing back to SurveyMonkey. Is it even an option, and if not….WHYYYYY?????
I’m really having trouble figuring out how to connect the outcome of my quiz to Hubspot. I’ve tried multiple types (dropdown, checkbox, single line text) of properties using this article I saw on other posts from 4-5 years ago and still cannot get one specific property to sync. I need someone to tell me exactly how to connect the Ending Outcome to a property in Hubpot.
I’ve been experimenting with using Typeform for collecting structured inputs (like project details, quantities, or user data) and then calculating results such as cost estimates, scores, or material requirements. While Typeform is great for data collection and conditional logic, I’ve noticed that for more complex calculations (like construction materials, financial estimates, or health metrics), it sometimes makes sense to pair it with an external calculation layer. One workflow that worked well for me:Use Typeform to collect clean, structured inputs Pass data via webhook/Zapier Process calculations externally Return or display results dynamicallyFor example, in calculation-heavy use cases (like material estimation or financial projections), I’ve seen people combine forms with specialized tools (e.g., platforms like Utilixea) to handle accurate computations while keeping the form experience smooth.Curious how others here are solving this—are you handling calculations fully inside Typefor
Hi all,Quick question. What’s the cleanest way to pass UTM parameters into an embedded Typeform and keep them attached to the response?I’ve seen a few older threads about hidden fields and transitive search params, but I’m not fully sure what the current best practice is if the form is embedded on a landing page.Has anyone done this recently?Any help appreciatedـ
Hello Typeform community 👋I’m trying to customize the design of my form and I was wondering: is there a way to change the font size of the text (questions, answers, etc.)?I’ve looked through the settings but couldn’t find an option for that. Maybe I missed something, or perhaps it requires custom CSS or a workaround?Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated 🙏Thanks in advance!
Hi all! I’m trying to better understand how the geo information (longitude and latitude) provided by Typeform is being captured, when it’s available and when it isn’t, and how reliable it’s to determine the responder’s location. I couldn’t find any help article on this topic, so figured I will ask the community. Any response will be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance
👋 Question for the Typeform community: If you use AI translation and then make some manual edits, what happens if you run the AI translation again after adding a new page? 👉 Does it overwrite your previous edits or only translate the new content? How do you handle this on your side to avoid losing your changes? 👀
I can’t believe how hard it is to create the logic needed to obtain the results of an assessment I’ve been creating. I have literally spent all day on one assessment and I’m still struggling. Why, given how much this costs is it so complicated with no one to ask other than this community for help?
I built a typeform with 6 possible endings based on answers you give. Based on the ending you got, I also want you to recieve a custom email sequence sent from my Kajabi. So I went and built a Zap with 6 branches, conditioned to trigger when your outcome title contains a certain word. Problem is, Zapier cannot identify that outcome title. What it does instead, is that it only reads the Outcome Title that appears after my last test submission. So, for example, if the outcome title from my last submission is “Apple”, it only goes through with the branch that has that end card, and the others fail. If I then submit another form that gives me the outcome “Pear”, then that branch work while the “Apple” one and the other 4 don’t. Please help
On our form, questions groups buttons are jumping to the ending screen. There is no logic tied to the question group jumping to the ending. This issue started today. Is anyone else experiencing any issues with logic today? We have not made changes to the form in a few days..
As a property management company that came into the real estate system, how would you set up your social media marketing platform and get clients that will buy or invest in your company?
Hello 👋I’m having an issue with Typeform and I’m not sure what’s going on.When I’m building my questionnaire (in the “Create” tab), I can’t see any recorded responses. However, when I test the form, I can see the responses displayed at the end.Is it normal not to see anything on the builder side? Can responses disappear or not be saved depending on how the form is tested? Thanks in advance for your help 🙏v
Hi everyone 👋I’m currently building a Typeform with fairly detailed descriptions for each question, and I was wondering if it’s possible to customize the layout of the answers.👉 Is it possible to display the answer choices to the right of the description (instead of below)?👉 Or is there an alternative layout/view that allows for a more horizontal or compact design? The goal is to improve readability when there’s a lot of text and visuals. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hey everyone I’ve been experimenting with Typeform booking flows for a home cleaning service brand, focusing on improving conversion rates and overall user experience. Our current flow captures: Service type Number of rooms Contact information Preferred time slot It performs well, but I’ve noticed some drop-offs halfway through the form which means something in the flow, sequence, or UX might be creating friction. We’re now testing a few ideas like: Multi‑step, conversational question flow Progress bar for motivation Visual options instead of long text answers Logic jumps for personalized user paths I’d love to hear from anyone who has tested Typeform or similar booking forms for service-based businesses (cleaning, plumbing, pest control, etc.). In your experience: Which UX changes actually improved completion rates? Did adding visuals or progress indicators make a measurable impact? Any proven structure or question order that works best? According to an empirical study (
Hi Typeform Community,We've been experiencing an issue where our Typeform webhook in production keeps getting automatically disabled, and we're trying to understand if this is a known Typeform behaviour or something on our end. Here's what we've observedOur webhook was disabled at some point last Friday and remained disabled until this Monday. - When we manually re-enabled it, it got disabled again within ~10 minutes. We also noticed the following error in our backend logs: "The typeform hidden field formid is not a correctly formatted number" - Our backend API endpoint is functioning correctly — manual test submissions are returning OK responses. - The issue affected multiple regionsWould need some help in answering the below Does Typeform automatically disable webhooks under certain conditions (e.g. repeated delivery failures, errors in hidden fields)? Could the "formid is not a correctly formatted number" error cause the webhook to be auto-disabled? Is there a way to prevent this fro
I have a form integrated with Stripe charging users £x to signup to an event. I would like to offer some users an 100% promo code and others a 50% promo code. How do I do that? I don’t have the codes generated elsewhere.Thank you!
Hello Typeform community, I’m currently using image-based answer choices and was wondering if it’s possible to freely move the answer choices around on the page. I’m not referring to changing their order within the grid, but rather being able to position each image anywhere on the screen (for example, placing them in different areas for a more custom layout). Is this kind of flexible positioning possible in Typeform, or is it a limitation of the tool? Thanks in advance for your help 🙂
Hi guys, 2 years ago, I asked the Typeform team whether it’s possible to duplicate all the notification settings (e.g. notify myself) when duplicating a form within the same workspace. Does anyone know if this is still on the roadmap?
Hello! It seems that a scored questions can only lead to different Endings. For example, total score of 1-5 to Ending 1, total score 6-10 leading to Ending 2, total score 11-15 leading to Ending 3. I would like different total scores from a group of questions to lead to different additional questions. So, in this case, total scores of 1-5 lead to Additional Question 1, total scores 6-10 leading to Additional Question 2, total scores 11-15 leading to Additional Question 3. Is this possible?
I would like to embed a form into my website to create a quiz with branching logic. I’m very interested in a design template that potentially has this logic built in. Looking for something similar to this: https://bummed.co/quiz/
Hello, since the new update I can't find the settings where I can make the button for OK or Next disappear until someone writes me an answer in the field. Does this setting still exist at all? Because now I have 3 surveys in the classic version and 3 in the new version. In the first three there is no way to get to the next question without writing something in. But in the other 3 surveys there is, where can I change this? In the introduction video this option is shown but it doesn't appear for me where I can make this button disappear.
HiI’m trying to use ‘clarify with AI’ to ensure answers to my open ended question are specific enough. However, results are under expectations. Here is my use case : I would like to ask parents which languages are spoken at home. I need them to give specific answers like “moroccan arabic” not just arabic.I tried several wordings for the question (given examples of ouputs) but follow-up questions generated by AI do not correspond to my needs. They focus on HOW the parent uses languages with their child at home, and not WHICH specific languages are spoken. I’m wondering if there is another way to add context to the prompt (like hidden context, invisible to respondants).Thank you for your help.Best,Marion
