Lead Capture and Partial Submit Point There has always been a debate about when to ask for an email address in a form/quiz. Some experts believe that you need to ask later in the form, when you are entitled to ask the user to share the email. They suggest that AFTER you provide some value to the user, then you can ask them for their email. This is really well suited for cold outreach. If you are sending people to a form from your web/sales page, where the user is seeking more information from you, then by all means, ask for the email up front. But insert a “partial submit point” in your typeform to be sure that you get the email address - even if they don’t complete and submit the entire form. You can then use a nurture sequence to foster the user into completing the form. When the user starts the form and completes the email question (my first question), the email is already captured in the Results - Responses table: Note that it says “Partial” in the Response type field. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, but I really like orange as the ‘official community colour’. It wasn’t until I saw it on the community sign up typeform that I realised how warm and powerful this colour is. Maybe @Pieter de Groot can share his thinking behind it and how it combines with other secondary colours for the community. What do you think?

Hi! I saw that this was asked appx 4 years ago but wasn’t possible then… Is there a way to remove the “ok” or “submit” button when there’s a multiple choice? I feel like it’s redundant since they already select their answer and then have to click that, too (it also covers the text on the screen on mobile on mine). Thanks :)

Hi - and many TIA for any help or advice. I have embedded a video in my Typeform. When I click move to that screen, the video plays with no sound and the play button is still on the screen with the video playing. I have to click play twice for the sound to work but when I click play the second time the video starts over from the beginning. This is happening on mobile and desktop. On mobile it also displays a ‘Reply’ button, rather than ‘Continue’ during this process. Looking back through historical Typeform community threads I see that somebody had this problem (on mobile only) 2 years ago & it was apparently resolved. But it is affecting me now. I have two forms integrated with a slack channel, most of the responses are coming through to the slack channel, but a few are not as well. I checked to make sure there was no emojis in the responses and the character limit was not reached on the responses that where not sent to the channel. Any idea as to why some of the responses are integrating but not others? Thank you in advance

I’d like to add logic to my form, to send users to an end screen determined by the hidden field. The survey respondents should still go through the rest of the form first. At the moment, I’m only seeing the option to either send them to the next question, or send them straight to the end. The hidden field is looking at the starting logic rather than the end. It’s worth mentioning I do have other conditional logic already in the form, which sends users off to different questions. But the end screen should then be determined by that hidden field. Is there a way to do this?
Hi everyone, We’re a small legal practice in NYC. Typeform is our intake tool for Housing Court petitions, Small Claims filings, and similar matters. Our sticking point is that every submission still has to be re-typed into the official NYC court PDFs, that is slow and prone to errors. I’ve been looking at Instafill.ai, an AI service that says it can read form data and drop it directly into PDF fields. Their legal-document case study claims high accuracy. Has anyone here connected Typeform to this service or any other PDF-filling tool? Which method worked best (Typeform webhook, Zapier, Make)? Our goal is to eliminate copy-paste and get documents back to clients faster. Thank you for any insights.
I am trying to modify the contents of email notifications from Typeform when a submission is received. When I go to: Workflow > Messages (Send an email to myself/the team) > Edit content, I get an error code “Verify your account. To edit email content, please verify your account. For more information and help, contact support.” I don’t see any option to verify my account. How do I verify my account in order to be able to edit the email content?
Hey Typeform users, I am having an issue with a survey using Typeform where 1/3 of the responses are marked as SPAM and when you check the form / survey and look in the RESULTS section. The problem is not this, the problem is that maybe half of the results marked as SPAM are not spam and I want to move them to the main results list which is also the list that is feeding into a connected XLS and its only feeding the main results list, excluding the SPAM list. Talking to support they did not offer any way to export the spam submissions to an XLS or even the option to move or save them individually. So the only solution I see is taking each entry and manually move each answer / options which is a pain. Did anyone had this issue and found a solution? Attaching a screen shot. You can see 77 responses, but those are not counting the SPAM ones that you can see when you click that circled button, there are 30+ ones from which half or more are not spam. So there are in total 100+ actual respons
Ok, I don’t get it. We are now in 2025, everything is custom except one thing, the social media icons at the end of a typeform. THAT IS RIDICULOUS.🤔 We’re a dog trainer, we will never ever use linkedin or X (x rocks), we use instagram and facebook. And we don’t want our clients to share the forms, but we do want clients to visit our social media which is also not available?? That sucks! Make this happen Typeform.
How do I make the variable name invisible to the person taking the quiz?
