How can I build survey where the response to the first question (which of these products are you familiar with?) dermines what is included in subsequent questions (in each question, rating only the products the participant is famiilar with)?Context: I have 9 products to be rated across 5 dimentions (in 5 questions) but dont want participants to have to rate products they don’t have experience with.
Hello,I have created a dropdown with a list of countries as the values.I am wondering if I can define the keys, using the iso code of the countries
I work for a non-profit and want to streamline our Adopt a Family Holiday Wish List program. Is there a template that already exists to use for individuals to list holiday wishes - wants, needs, sizes for shoes, shirts, pants with $ limits and possibility to attach a link to that particular item. I considered Giftster but already use Typeform for so many of my projects. Can anyone provide insight?
I am trying to build a pairwise comparison questionnaire, comparing the 6 criteria; the end result for the user should be the grading of the 6 criteria by order of importance for the user, with % weight. I managed to create the logic with variables which attributes points to a criteria each time is selected in a binary comparison; but I can’t find how to create the ending which would provide the ranking of all the criteria based on the points gained after users’ answers.Any ideas?? Thank you!
hello,I’m very new to Typeform. I’m the developer of a new website that needs to collect information about companies, construction projects, rental housing etc and I’m thinking maybe Typeform could do a good job here but I’m not sure if it is advanced enough for this.So lets say the user opens the form, and it asks for personal info etc first. Then the user needs to put in if he wants to register a company, a construction project or wants to rent out his housing. Could there be different kinds of forms depending on what he chooses. And in the end of this customer journey, could there be different kinds of API calls to supabase (the backend we are using with a postgres database) to post this data? Also, could the form be in two different languages?I’m using next.js as the framework for this, and I’ve seen some nice embedds of typeform to react. :-)Please give me all the tips, comments and suggestions you can think about.Thank you!
Hi.I have a client that have work around the globe, and when are going to translate the form to english there are many countries that speak english, but some uses pounds and some uses kilograms. We have a question of what their product weight is. And if they just type “5”, we dont know if they mean 5pbs or 5kg. Is there anyway to make an option that they need to choose pounds or kilograms in the same question, before they type in the weight? Or is there any other solution to this? Best regards/Mattias
Hi,I have a form that’s accepting submissions for a magazine (with payment). They can submit up to 25 items. I need to list these items by name in the email notification if submitted, BUT if they submit anything less that 25, the following appears in the email notification: “[Not asked]”.Is there any way around this ? That is, is there anyway to include a conditional within the email notification to only display those that include an answer ? If unanswered, display none ?I can’t seem to come up with an answer using variables/logic or within the email notification itself. Can anyone offer any advice please ?
Hi all, was just wondering if there’s a way to let users download their results immediately after completing the form?
Quiero que en un campo de mi formulario al buscar un producto me traiga el resultado de una base de datos.-- Google Translation -- I want that in a field of my form when searching for a product, it brings me the result of a database.
Hi there,I have used Typeform for a few different quizzes I have set up. However, just recently in my newest Typeform the Branching and Calculations is running very slowly. I was wondering if anyone else knows what’s up or if there is a way to fix this? When I say slow I mean s l o w. It is almost as it it freezes after every input as I try to assign scoring to specific question/answer sets. The rest of the website runs smoothly, all other site run smoothly. My internet speed was tested at over 500mbps so I can’t seem to figure out what this specific issue is but it is making my work slow to a crawl here. Thanks in advance for any input everyone!Cameron
Hello, I have a logic question. I have a question which has a couple of different routes. The question has 5 answers with 8 routes out: Question 4A, B, C, D, E Routes as follows A - EndB - EndC - EndD - Goes to next question (5)E - End A+B - Goes to next question (5)A+C - Goes to next question (5)B+C - Goes to next question (5) Currently, I am struggling to work out how to enable users who choose more than one option out of A, B and C, i.e. A+B, to move onto question 5 and not just going to an end screen. Have this set up like this currently: I am on the Business Plan currently. Cheers.
I've created a form that needs to offer two different prices, so I’ve added a dropdown for selecting which price to pay. After selecting, it should take you to the relevant questions and then the payment screen. The problem is, I can only get it to go to the payment screen from the last dropdown, not the first one. Can someone help?
Hi!We have a setup where we first collect contact information through hidden fields. Right now, when the first form is completed it opens up the second form on a complete new page. We would like the second form to be in the same ‘window’ (either popup or slider) to not interrupt the user experience. I have read the following post: and github documentation: https://github.com/Typeform/embed/tree/main/packages/embed#redirect-target. However when I insert the following on my webpage (Astro backend): <div data-tf-live=FORM_ID data-tf-redirect-target="_self"></div><script src="//embed.typeform.com/next/embed.js"></script>the first form opens op correctly upon completion is goes back to the original page and the popup disappears If i click again on the button to open the form, the second form appears instead of the first formWhat I want is the second form to show up inside the popup of the first form, How would I achieve this
Hi - I am building a questionnaire that recommends the right school based on how they answer the questions. However, there can be several schools that meet the same criteria. How do I have the questionaire show more than one school (e.g. products) as an outcome ? Example questions:Are you traditional or progressive How important is it for kids to learn 2nd language? Do you need the school to be K-12?If 2 schools meet the same criteria (traditional, yes to 2nd language, must be k-12), how can I have the form to show both schools as options?
I am looking to build a simple form with about 6-8 “pages”, that will output to a PDF. I’d like the PDF to either get emailed to a specific address, or saved off to a network location. Is something like that possible?
Hello Everyone!Currently making a test for my workplace where dozens of people will be completing the multiple choice with about 30 questions. So far I only could find a feature where I would be able to assign points to the questions and then see the overall score they got, but that would be rough to go over all of them. I was wondering if there is something I could do so I can see exactly which questions were answered correctly/incorrectly?Thank you for all the help in advance.
Hi! The "send" button is not displayed in the mobile application. which is why I can't complete the test. How can I fix this?https://form.typeform.com/to/q2ERcbiq#first_name=xxxxx&cuid=xxxxx
Is it possible to rename files to a different file name when they are uploaded through a form? Using the file names of people’s submissions, particularly those who submit the forms on a mobile device, makes them harder to interpret after. For example, for a return form, we require a series of 4 pictures. When someone submits a picture, can I rename each of them so that when Typeform outputs it to a different service, those names are common between each form? (pic1, pic2, pic3, etc.) Thank you for any advice!
I have a pretty sizable survey (multiple hours of work to create) that I need to duplicate for “version B”. However, Typeform keeps bugging out with “oops, somethign went wrong”. The issue persists for weeks now and prevents a big part of our work. Any idea what could be causing it or what are the workarounds?
Hi everyone,I’m having a very urgent problem with Typeform logic rules.I've created a Typeform to get my customer's order forms. The relevant three variables for my problem are: @link, @ment, @aaaWhen an order goes through, @link is replaced with a payment link that corresponds to the order amount. Then when the payment method is by card, @ment is replaced with "please click on the payment link to finish your transaction". When the payment method is by bank account, @link is replaced with our bank account number, and the @ment is replaced with "please transfer money to the account number". So far, so good. The problem occurs when I'm dealing with orders that exceed 6 people. An earlier question asks how many people the order is for, and if it is over 6, the user is prompted to enter the specific number in the "other: over 6" option. Because I haven't created payment links for orders with over 6 people, I want the final page of summary to say "$__ per person" and then send the exact amou
If I link a video from YouTube to my Survay it is way brighter then on YouTube. What can I do to fix it?
Hi, I recently upgraded to the $99 per month business plan, expecting to access manual question translation features. However, it appears that translation is only available through AI, and there's no option for manual translation. Is this correct? Also, requiring users to click a "translate" button seems unintuitive. Am I overlooking something, or is this the current setup? RegardsDarshan Hiranandani
I have an Outcome Quiz to determine a person´s preferred style. It has 14 questions, each question with 8 options (a,b,c,d,e,f,g and h). At the end of outcome quiz, I would like to be able to identify if there is a tie on the number a times an option was selected and use 3 questions of the for to be the tie braker. For example, a person could respond 4 times for option a, d and f. This will mean a tie for these 3 options chosen. I would like to identify if there are 2 or 3 options on a tie for high score, and then use 1 to 3 questions from the same questionnaire to break the tie and define a single higher score o singe outcome. Your input and suggestions highly appreciated
I am trying to figure out how to only accept numerical answers in a response that are limited to 6 digits. In addition, if I have a database of valid numbers that I want to accept (reference numbers) and all other entries need to show an error code- how can I do this?
This is my first Typeform! I need to do a Typeform with ranking but, for each question, one of the propositions is “other” and I’d like people be able to write their idea. Is it possible?sorry for my English… and thank you for your answers!
