Questions and discussions about building your typeform

Hello! Hoping this is feasible. I am working on a survey for students to provide feedback on our 2 program advisors. Students can meet with either advisor, and many students have met with both advisors. Basically, I would love to ask which advisor(s) they met with, and then show the corresponding questions. So for example: Q1. Which Advisor did you meet with? If you met with both, choose bothAdvisor 1 Advisor 2 If A1, show question set for A1; If A2, show question set for A2; If A1 and A2, show question set for A1 and A2. Basically, for analysis ease, I want to avoid having to create a separate “Both question set”, instead just showing both sets of questions. I am struggling to set that up with the logic. Any advice? Â
Hi,The question is: “what year did this viecle went on the road for the first time?”I need to set an equation that say: if it is this year then go to X question if not then to Y. but i see i can only set a number (2024 in my case). which means that in 2025 i will need to reedite this equation and change 2024 to 2025. is there a better way to do that? is there a way to add current year?
Hello,I’m using typeform for a wellness assessment with 18 questions covering 6 different areas. I’m using a 1-5 opinion scale and some questions are reverse-scored. The max score for each of the 6 areas is 15.I created 6 variables corresponding to each area, and used branching and calculations to update each variable according to the answers. I have a temporary page that displays the 6 scores and I got this part right. I need help with the final step: showing a unique ending based on the lowest score from the 6 variables. This ending has recommendations that the user can then take into my product. If there’s a tie, I can show one screen with universal recommendations.I came across this post that explains how to do it but I’m quite lost on the logic setup. I can’t compare variables as I’m forced to enter a number rather than another variable - see below attempt to do so:Please help!
Hello everyone, I wanted to share an idea that I believe could greatly enhance the functionality of the forms. Currently, when creating lead forms, I find myself hesitant to ask for too much information upfront, fearing that it might deter people from completing the form. Instead, I prefer to keep the initial form concise and then provide an opportunity for respondents to provide additional, more detailed information afterward. However, the current setup only allows for adding a URL in the ending screen. It would be incredibly valuable to have the option to seamlessly integrate another form, perhaps labeled as "provide more info" immediately after the initial form submission. This would not only streamline the process for respondents but also enable us to track additional conversions more effectively, without the need to manually correlate submissions from multiple forms. I believe implementing this feature would greatly benefit our workflow and enhance the user experience for both us
I need to merge 2 typeforms into one, is it possible?

I make changes in the text of system messages, but I want to save that changes for any typeform. Is that possible?
other optionHello,in my form i have a other option input in multiple choice questions. So now I want to perform some mathematical calculation leveraging this input value. But the problem is this is in text format. So is there a way to extract number from this text and do this mathematical calculation? Is there any workaround? Or can i make the other option number only?Secondly after calculation my variables value is 300000. now can i format this to 300,000 as in currency format when i use this to send email from TypeForm?Â
How do you ask a question so that the individual can put in the %? For example, I am asking a demographic question about the % of population served is Female, Male, Transgenders, Undisclosed. But I want them to answer with %, for example 50% female, 20% male, etc. Do I need to just ask each question separately or just provide a text box for them to write it in?
Aloha Typeform Community,ContextI have a required Sign Up Form (1st form, contact info + 2 questions) and subsequent Survey Form (2nd form with 5-8 questions) for our upcoming Honolulu Tech Week 2024 in September. HTW brings together members of the broader technology community from startup founders and nonprofits boards to public company CTOs across Hawaii and other states and countries. We need to prioritize the Sign Up Form, but capturing the questions in the Survey Form is also very important to ensure attendee success.Ideally the Survey Form would be done immediately after the Sign Up form, but we don’t want to jeopardize conversions with the longer form so within the Sign Up form prior to submittal we ask if they’d be willing (now) to answer a few more questions to improve the event. If they answer “No”, we’ll follow up with the Survey Form later. If they answer “Yes”, we redirect them on the Thank You page to the Survey Form but there’s a problem.ProblemFor the people that answer
I need to move an online quiz to a different platform. I see we can use videos in the typeform quizzes and we can require questions. What I need to know is:Can we require a person to share their name and email address before they take the quiz? Can you ask several sets of questions before moving on to the next video? Can you send an alert to an email (e.g. a company email) that lets us know someone has taken the quiz, and it would include their name and email? Is there a way to also see all the results/dates/names/emails of all quizzes taken in a CSV or other format?
can we add an option to go directly to the end of the questionnaire whenever we want in the questionnaire flow?
So here’s the use case:Participants who don’t pass Quiz set 1, will get an email of the duplicate of Quiz set 1 so they can retry but only after 6 hours. Why is a duplicate set being created/ used is because currently Typeform doesn’t do anything to stop multiple responses from the same email, etc. We will not include the duplicate responses even if participants attempt the quiz again. Failed participants will be directed to the duplicate Quiz set 1 so that we know, its the failed participants. Is there a feature that allows me to set a access time to quizzes and schedule multiple timed follow up emails to participants? (as follow ups are directly sent after completion) I don’t think either is possible, does anyone know a work around? Any suggestion/ tip, would be helpful. Let me know if I need to explain my case better. Thanks in advance!Â
I am building a multiple choice survey where recipients select either A or B to select the statement that best reflects them. Is there a way to tally and show recipients how many A vs B answers were selected at the end? I’d like to follow up with statements specific to those who selected mostly As and those who selected mostly Bs.Â
How do I create a trigger to follow up when a file has *not* been uploaded by the respondent?

Hi, I’m trying to update a dropdown in Typeform using Zapier based on data coming from a Google sheet. Somehow I’m getting the error: Failed to create an update dropdown, multiple choice or ranking question options in TypeformThe app returned "Invalid choice reference in logic: 01GTH7A7GX5NHRY53R40QH7SVH".I have no idea why because it’s not very descriptive. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
I just discovered Typeform a few days ago and I love how user friendly it is and would love to use this as a training space for my company. I have fiddled around with making quizzes for product knowledge retention, but before presenting this platform to the head of my company, I was wondering if there’s a way to create presentation type of forms (like importing images and info; kind of like a power point presentation) to then centralize my training platforms into one space?
Is there already a way saving message settings for all relevant languages so that each time I create a new form, I just have to pick the right one from my stored message variants? This means I only have to set it up once for each language and every time I create a new typeform I’m choosing prefered message set I saved before. This would make things so much easier. Please let me know if possible and if not please take this function into consideration for upcoming release.
Hello. I'm having trouble capturing email addresses from contacts who submit a Typeform survey embedded in a HubSpot email marketing campaign. I've configured a hidden field in Typeform to collect email addresses, but it's not working properly. I've also installed the Typeform integration for HubSpot. I don't not what is not working once I double check all information.
Hi,  So I have been trying to search for a way to customize the loading screen of my Typeform. The one that shows up right after opening your form. Right now it’s the default one but I want to change it to something else.  I also want to change the design of how the “File upload” field looks like. Is there any way I can resize it or change it to something else?
Hi dear typeform community,I am very new here and try to build up a BMI & Calorie Calculator Form which will send different result E-Mails after a double opt in via mailchimp/klick-tipp (or any other CRM System which would make that possible) depending on the entered goal (gain muscles/losing fat/become fitter).Does anyone have an idea how I could make that possible?
Hi,Does anyone have this error on typeform? Many thanks for the help.Cheers,Valéria
Can you have more than one answer to multiple choice questions?
I feel a wee bit sorry for all those poor people who rely on Facebook for their business model... 'it took a nap today' lol what how someone put it.. If you rely on Facebook - or any other social media - as your platform of record for your business, you run the risk of NOT being able to transact with your clients in the event of an outage. Facebook ads, Facebook membership groups, etc. all came to a screeching halt this morning. I’m not saying those are a bad thing BUT this shows me all the more reason to have captured all your social followers into your email list - through a typeform - so that you can continue to do business with them when there is a case of social-interruptus by using email. On top of this, did you realize that when you create a huge following on any social platform, you are really giving the owners of that platform a segmented audience for THEM to show ads and generate revenue from all your hard work. How much of that revenue are YOU seeing from the social follower
