Build your typeform

I have 3 groups of questions. Each group has either a yes or no answer. I’ve set up the following in the Score Quiz section: In group A if they select yes it counts as 3 points (8 questions, total possible 24)In group B if they select yes it counts as 2 points (6 questions, total possible 12)In group C if they select it counts as 1 point (3 questions, total possible 3 points).  I want to calculate the percentage total for each group (and one overall score)I found the very useful article by John here on how to do percentage scores I have set up the correct variable so I have a GroupA, GroupB and GroupC variable set as a number with the value 0. . The problem seems to be the @score is cumulative and somewhat unpredictable. If I put logic in for Group A on each question where I say if “question” =yes  then  @score + @GroupA , I get a result of 108 for all of Group A Is there a way of resetting @score to zero before the logic on the first question on each group so I know it starts at 0. Al

Is it possible to send a different email based off of conditions within the form.Mainly I would be looking to send a different email if you are the first person to fill out the form / or have a different response depending on the timeframe the form was submitted. i.e. Can I send response A if you submit the form within the first week, and response B if you submit the form anytime after that? Thanks!

Is it possible to send the answer to the form to different email addresses depending on the answer chosen?Ex : What type of service are you looking for?A - AluminiumB - WoodC - FittingIf the prospect chooses answer A, the form will be sent to the address a@adressemail.comIf he chooses C, the form will be sent to the email address c@adressemail.comIf they choose A and B, the form will be sent to a@adressemail.com and b@adressemail.com

I.e if someone wants 3 employees i want them to fill out this section 3+ times so we have info requirements on each employee. 

I’m trying to decide if I can use Typeform (I have a free account pending the answer) or if I need to hire developers to build custom code.   I think Typeform may still be a good alternative to Survey Monkey for another survey I’m building but for this one, I want to present the results to the user on the web page.  This seems simple to achieve but I haven’t found a tool to do it.  Here’s something similar in functionality.https://www.toptal.com/remote-readiness30 questions, rated (low) 1 to 5 (high) could simply use 1 to 5 stars.10 categories - a score per category showing which areas need the most work.  Not an overall score.A radial graph would also work overlaid onto a benchmark.

Hello,I’m pretty new with typeform and I would need your help :)I’ve done a quiz, with logic and scores and different endings according to the score and so far all was perfect! What I would need now, would be the possibility to ask, possibly in each different ending, if the quiz was useful (it is an educational quiz about online security)...is there any way to add a button asking if the quiz was helpful? or a way to send the user to another content type asking for that? Thanks in advance,Annalisa

Hi all, I’ve been looking around in this community & on the web but haven’t found an answer to my question.I want to create a questionnaire where the Question 1 is Multiple Choice (multiple selections) with 6 options. In the Question 2, I only want to show the options that were choses in Question 1 as answers. So If you select 4 options in Question 1, only these 4 options are shown in Question 2. Anyone knows if this is possible in Typeform? Thanks in advance

HiI want to create a simple multiple choice form that once completed will let you know what ‘type’ of animal you are. How does it work?8 questions each with 4 optional answers. Each answer has a score of 1, but depending on which answer you pick, that 1 point will be allocated to either Lion / Labrador / Otter / Beaver. At the end of the quiz, each of those collective points needs to be added up to see which of the four animals is dominant. So based on your 8 answers Lion received 7 points and Otter 1 so you are very much a Lion!I would like to ideally then present that result with some text explaining what that animal trait is like.I would really appreciate the support, I have allocated 1 point to each answer so far, I tried to go into the calculations and variables but could not seem to edit anything and honestly was just playing around! Would love a run down on how to do this.Thanks

I have created a 5 question quiz in typeform, which is working properly- if people get all 5 questions correct, they go to the “You passed” End page, if they miss at least one, they go to the “Sorry” End page. However, I’d like to add an INITIAL question before the quiz starts (“Are you a US resident?”) to which if they answer NO, they never start the quiz- but go right to the “Sorry” end page. I am trying to set up logic for this question, but the end screens are not available options. It seems there is a conflict of scoring logic and this initial question.  Help- what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

We want to create a survey for an event. It should stop the registration to a certain date if the available seats are already booked by somebody else. Therefore, we would like to use some hidden fields that are passed from one survey answer to the next survey. Is this possible, and how?

Hi! I am working with a team on a social psychology tool. The tool lists about 40 values. We ask users to initially select 15 with which they most strongly identify (happiness, quality, self-discipline etc). From the 15 they previously selected, we ask them to narrow it down to 10. Then, 5.If this was the slide that prompted users to select 10 from the 15, is it possible to have “choice 1,” “choice 2,” “choice 3” reflect the 15 choices you made previously and you would just have to deselect 5?I hope this made some sense.

We have a Typeform that asks users to choose a preferred start date using a “Date” type question. Is there a way to build in logic so the user can’t choose the same day or a date within 24/48 hours of the current date?IE. You’re filling out the survey at 9pm on a Wednesday and we don’t want you to be able to choose tomorrow/Thursday.

I am trying to do a multiline text for the picture choice (something like the below). I am able to do this manually by adding spaces (very janky)… but after my cursor leaves the text box on a particular choice, it automatically wipes all the spaces and line breaks. Is multiline text not a supported functionality of typeform? 

Hello..I have the following setup and the result are not recorded, i have an empty result files after 12 tests.I’m using a multiple selection questions as a menu to different matrix. if i click in the A option, it send me to the Matrix “hardskills”, there i select a value from each row and column and after that i click in accept, then its sends me back to (1) multiple selection question as a menu. After i select from each option and define the data in the matrix, i select accept to move to next question. when i check the result, matrix data its empty.

Hello,I replicated an existing registration form (collecting applications for courses), as I always do and started editing it. However, I can no longer set up Notifications for automatic replies - the option disappeared from the Settings tab.I’m attaching the screenshots of the problem: on one image, you can see the Notifications option (older form), on other it’s gone (the new form I’m working on).Can you please help?Thanks! 

I’d like to change the content information.  For example: if I add a tab for a persons name I can only add a first name and last name.  How can I have a middle name and a reference number added (such as a ssnumber, chart number, unique identification number)?
