I have a set of 1000 unique gift codes and I want to use a typeform text field to validate the gift-code entry. In case the entry is not valid, I want to display a customized error message. In case the code is valid I want to take them to the next question. My codes are e.g. in google sheets. So the text field should check if the entered value exists in my google sheets. Any idea how to solve that?
Hi everyone, I’m Emilie and I would like to know how to insert another section (the surname one) in the contact form in my video chat. Does anybody know how to do it? Thank you very much 😁
Hello Typeform Community! I'm hoping someone can assist me with a problem that I've been unable to solve using logic, branching, rules, etc.I made a simple multiple-choice question with five possible responses and want to link each response to an individual page. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect each response to a unique page based on the number of choices the user selects.Example #1) If the user selects option B, C and E how do I use logic jumps to automatically move through each individual page that corresponds to answers B, C, E?Example #2) If the user selects option A only, I want to only show the corresponding page for option A and ignore the other four answers and then move to the next section.I read the article “logic jumps for more than one multiple choice answer” and it looks like what Im wanting to do is very possible, I'm just not fully understanding how to configure the branching and calculations. Here’s a link to the Typeform I working withMultiple C
I’m just checking out Typeform so I picked a standard template. Then I went to it as a user and tried to fill it out, but I only got to Question 2 before it said “submit”. Ideally I’d like to talk to someone about the problem.
We need to create a form where staff nominate other members of staff for an award. There will be 6 award categories, and we want each member of staff to nominate in a minimum of 3 categories and up to 6 categories. We want each nomination to be for a different category, so e.g. if they choose option A on Q1 they cannot choose option A again.I have tried to put this together using branching etc but once it gets to a certain point it comes up that the category has previously been selected, but it hasn’t… Is there an easier way to set this up?Here’s the link to what I have so far if that helps… https://x03qyjgj9zf.typeform.com/to/MOFbpYgj
I have a form for housing applicants. I ask them, in a multiple choice question, which state benefits they receive. Then I’d like to be able to ask them how much they receive for each of the benefits that they have ticked and whether the amounts they have enter are weekly or monthly (I suppose I could stipulate that they enter either weekly or monthly). So this question should ideally list just the ticked benefits and have a text box against each to enter the amount and a drop down against each to indicate either weekly or monthly. Then I’d like to calculate the total amount of benefits, but I think that’s probably the easy bit.
Hello!Never used Typeform so maybe u can help me out:We would like to have visitors to our web design agency site fill out a briefing. We have prepared about 18-19 questions and would like to integrate this into a modern typeform. There are such questions like: “What does your product (good, service or company) represent? What is your product useful for? What problems does it solve for the consumer and how does it make their life easier? What is your unique selling proposition?Briefly introduce your company or product and describe what kind of services or products you offer.Explain what industry you are in and how long you have been in that industry. Emphasise your particular strengths and skills and explain why clients should come to you.Mention what kind of clients you serve (e.g. private clients, small businesses, large companies, etc.) and in which regions or countries you are active.Explain your business goals and how you intend to achieve them.” Is there a template that is tailored e
I have a one page .pdf document that has multiple form fields to record answers to the questions. Can Typeform upload this file and convert it for my use online?
Hi! Can I randomise within the matrix question, so can the rows be randomised to prevent straight lining? Ideally I’d prefer to keep all the rows on one page so in one matrix. Thanks! :)
I’m creating a registration form for a car club. To enter, your car must be 25 years old or older. How do I write logic such that it does not accept a car that is newer than 25 years?
Who agrees with me that the phone question should allow the answerer the country of his phone company? I am in a city in Spain where 50% are tourists and my form only allows placing the flag and the indicative of Spain. I lose all the phone numbers of the other countries :=(
Does the character limit in Typeform include spaces?
I am having an issue where the progress bar of my form is being hidden beneath the question title when using a Question Group. The issue only appears on Desktop view (which is what my users will be primarily using). I’ve added some screenshots below.Example: Progress bar visible on mobile Example: Progress bar hidden on Desktop Any solutions? I need the progress bar to be visible throughout the entire form.
I set up this automated email response and it works fine. The only weird thing is that it adds a weird code at the bottom that seems to be coming from nowhere? How do i delete this?
Hello! Maybe I’ve missed it, but I wondered if there was a nice way for a respondent to review their answers before hitting submit. We’ve got quite a long questionnaire and some respondents have issued feedback to say they’d like to review their answers before confirming them for us. Is that at all possible?
Hi, I’m looking to create a form that allows a user to pick within a scale from 1-12 with 4 statements throughout the scale. Is this something I can do with a likert form? For example, there would be a question and 4 answers, and then a scale form 1-12 along those 4 answers. I thought it might be a multiple choice with 4 choices, 1-3 for the first, 4-6 for the second, etc. But maybe it would work more like a likert scale. The result would need a score for the question between 1-12. There would be about 10 questions with 4 answers each, each with a scale of 1-12 for the answers.
Hi all,I hope you can help me. I can't seem to figure out how to position my text on the left side of the screen.
The phone field allows to select a default option for the country. Is there a way to detect dynamically which country the user is in, using a service like ipinfo.io, and update the select country, for the user not to have to select it before entering the local part of the phone number?
I have created a typeform to collect some data from some collaborators. After two weeks a couple of them have asked to update the data they sent.Is there a (smart) way to do this. Lets say, create a new typeform that shows the previous answer and let the user update the answer or fill in a new one? or similar.Right now the only answer I have is, “fill it again from scratch” and I will delete the first answerThanks in advance
I am trying to ask my customers to choose a favourite between two design for a desktop screen. The "picture choice” format does not seem right, as the images are very small, even with the "supersize” setting (see below). It seems there is no way for users to see the full screen images.I could also host the images elsewhere, but I do not find a good way to add clickable links in a choice question. This seems like a common use for forms. Am I missing something? How am I supposed to do this? Thanks!
Has this issue been addressed yet? We are publishing quizzes with some DEI content that we want the staff to really think about their answer before they move on to the next one. We are hoping they are able to select one option of a multiple choice question and have the opportunity to make sure they have thought about it and then hit NEXT QUESTION, rather than it automatically advancing to the next question.
Hello,I want to make the payment form mandatory (unable to skip). How can I do that?
I am trying to embed a website into my typeform that will direct people to that site. Is that possible? Is it possible too embed google maps into tyepform?
Hello.I’m running into some challenges with the branching logic functionality and want to make sure I’m understanding it correctly. My typeform includes 10 opinion scale questions (scored 0-10), and 3 follow up questions to ask any time an opinion scale question is rated 8 or higher. My ideal flow for the logic would be to ask all 10 opinion scale questions and then ask the follow up questions that are relevant.BUT - it looks like this isn’t possible. From what I’m seeing, my only option is to ask the follow up questions immediately after each opinion scale question using an if / then… is this right?
I have a client that was given a copy of a typeform file - saved as an html file. They would like to import this file into their own typeform account, and then make a few modifications. How can this be done?
