Questions and discussions about building your typeform

Hi, Im building a typeform that will have a core structure of 30 some questions, which based on the answers provided here, will lead to one of 4 typeforms. Each of the four typeforms has a unique logic structure which means, that as the users goes through one of the 4 TypeForms their answers to some of the first questions will determine how many questions they go through in total. There is a branching logic behind each TypeForm which means the user journey through can vary depending on the users answers. Is there any way that I can calculate an average score based on the answers? all equations I have come across requires a divide with the amount of questions (In this case that will only be possible to know if I code each potential combination one by one). Is there a smarter way? otherwise im looking at 800-1000 questions and the following 4-5.000 rules. It is a very easy task in excel, so I hope it is just me not knowing how to apply this logic to a TypeForm..
Hello,I want to create a drivers' questionnaire (transactional analysis). At the moment, I don't know how to set this up.Maybe this kind of test is not possible in Typeform (please let me know). Here is a sample question:Question: For me, it is important to be accepted by others.Answer: 1 – NO, 2 – OCCASSIONALLY, 3 – YESThis Question is in the category of “please others”.In sum, there are 5 categories. The category with the most points is you “driver”.I found an example here:https://www.totem-consulting.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Drivers-Questionaire-1.pdfThanks for your help in advanceJulia
Hello! I am planning on buying a package and had the following question, I will have a few websites I plan on using TypeForm for: One website is a Registered Nursing School website I will use to sell two practice tests each with 115 questions. Second website will be a Fruit Tree website I will use to ask users to add fruit information (variety, taste, color, etc), add a picture and then add into our online database of fruits once reviewed by admin. Third website will simply obtain email addresses for a mailing list. Can any one TypeForm subscription perform these three requests?
Hi from Aotearoa, New Zealand !With the email response to client ( automated when added to form) it shows in the form and as also tuned on, but if I test with my email address I don’t receive a response and many clients tell me they also do not. I have ensured this is on before I publish my form and everything looks accurate, is it reliable !Thanks Shayne J
Hi, I'm trying to make an calculation flow but I don't know if it's possible to do it with typeform. First I have this operation:var3 = var1/(var2/100)*(var/100)Depending on the result, a score is assigned to a final variable varfinalAnd on the other hand, some multiple choice questions that, depending on the choice, add a score to that same var4.Depending on the result of varfinal, one final result or another is displayed. Is this possible? Thank you.
good morning! I have a form, with the aim of the customer choosing sizes for products. Is there any way to control the stock? Is there a way to limit the number of clicks on a given option? Example: What is the shirt size? Option A: size SOption B: size L(As I only have 10 units of sizes S, I said that there was a maximum response for this option of 10 clicks)When the 11th person clicks on the option, they receive a warning (that there are no more sizes) or are forwarded to a page with that information it's possible? Thank you very much
Hi,We have got a Typeform account where we have been creating Typeforms for 2 different departments for a while. Now, we want to have 2 separate accounts, so we do not mix stuff from different areas. We have created a new account and dozens of Typeforms need to be created on this second account. In an ideal world, we would export those typeforms from the first account and then import them on to the second one. We do not need to export the answers or any other collected data, just the questions, the logic, etc. But we do not find any option to do that and we do not find any information regarding this matter. So, we will have to create all those typeforms again from scratch. Do you know whether this can be done automatically with some kind of export/import feature? Thanks a lot for your help.
Hello,I want to develop a drivers' survey (transactional analysis).I'm not sure how to set this up right now.Maybe Typeform doesn't support this kind of test (please let me know).
hi there, is it possible to midway a form get someone to leave the typeform, visit a site and via a button on that site go back to the typeform again to the exact place where he left the form? kind regardsDennis
I have a set of 1000 unique gift codes and I want to use a typeform text field to validate the gift-code entry. In case the entry is not valid, I want to display a customized error message. In case the code is valid I want to take them to the next question. My codes are e.g. in google sheets. So the text field should check if the entered value exists in my google sheets. Any idea how to solve that?
Hi everyone, I’m Emilie and I would like to know how to insert another section (the surname one) in the contact form in my video chat. Does anybody know how to do it? Thank you very much 😁
Hello Typeform Community! I'm hoping someone can assist me with a problem that I've been unable to solve using logic, branching, rules, etc.I made a simple multiple-choice question with five possible responses and want to link each response to an individual page. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect each response to a unique page based on the number of choices the user selects.Example #1) If the user selects option B, C and E how do I use logic jumps to automatically move through each individual page that corresponds to answers B, C, E?Example #2) If the user selects option A only, I want to only show the corresponding page for option A and ignore the other four answers and then move to the next section.I read the article “logic jumps for more than one multiple choice answer” and it looks like what Im wanting to do is very possible, I'm just not fully understanding how to configure the branching and calculations. Here’s a link to the Typeform I working withMultiple C
I’m just checking out Typeform so I picked a standard template. Then I went to it as a user and tried to fill it out, but I only got to Question 2 before it said “submit”. Ideally I’d like to talk to someone about the problem.
We need to create a form where staff nominate other members of staff for an award. There will be 6 award categories, and we want each member of staff to nominate in a minimum of 3 categories and up to 6 categories. We want each nomination to be for a different category, so e.g. if they choose option A on Q1 they cannot choose option A again.I have tried to put this together using branching etc but once it gets to a certain point it comes up that the category has previously been selected, but it hasn’t… Is there an easier way to set this up?Here’s the link to what I have so far if that helps… https://x03qyjgj9zf.typeform.com/to/MOFbpYgj
I have a form for housing applicants. I ask them, in a multiple choice question, which state benefits they receive. Then I’d like to be able to ask them how much they receive for each of the benefits that they have ticked and whether the amounts they have enter are weekly or monthly (I suppose I could stipulate that they enter either weekly or monthly). So this question should ideally list just the ticked benefits and have a text box against each to enter the amount and a drop down against each to indicate either weekly or monthly. Then I’d like to calculate the total amount of benefits, but I think that’s probably the easy bit.
Hello!Never used Typeform so maybe u can help me out:We would like to have visitors to our web design agency site fill out a briefing. We have prepared about 18-19 questions and would like to integrate this into a modern typeform. There are such questions like: “What does your product (good, service or company) represent? What is your product useful for? What problems does it solve for the consumer and how does it make their life easier? What is your unique selling proposition?Briefly introduce your company or product and describe what kind of services or products you offer.Explain what industry you are in and how long you have been in that industry. Emphasise your particular strengths and skills and explain why clients should come to you.Mention what kind of clients you serve (e.g. private clients, small businesses, large companies, etc.) and in which regions or countries you are active.Explain your business goals and how you intend to achieve them.” Is there a template that is tailored e
I have a one page .pdf document that has multiple form fields to record answers to the questions. Can Typeform upload this file and convert it for my use online?
Hi! Can I randomise within the matrix question, so can the rows be randomised to prevent straight lining? Ideally I’d prefer to keep all the rows on one page so in one matrix. Thanks! :)
I’m creating a registration form for a car club. To enter, your car must be 25 years old or older. How do I write logic such that it does not accept a car that is newer than 25 years?
Who agrees with me that the phone question should allow the answerer the country of his phone company? I am in a city in Spain where 50% are tourists and my form only allows placing the flag and the indicative of Spain. I lose all the phone numbers of the other countries :=(
Does the character limit in Typeform include spaces?
I am having an issue where the progress bar of my form is being hidden beneath the question title when using a Question Group. The issue only appears on Desktop view (which is what my users will be primarily using). I’ve added some screenshots below.Example: Progress bar visible on mobile Example: Progress bar hidden on Desktop Any solutions? I need the progress bar to be visible throughout the entire form.
I set up this automated email response and it works fine. The only weird thing is that it adds a weird code at the bottom that seems to be coming from nowhere? How do i delete this?
Hello! Maybe I’ve missed it, but I wondered if there was a nice way for a respondent to review their answers before hitting submit. We’ve got quite a long questionnaire and some respondents have issued feedback to say they’d like to review their answers before confirming them for us. Is that at all possible?
Hi, I’m looking to create a form that allows a user to pick within a scale from 1-12 with 4 statements throughout the scale. Is this something I can do with a likert form? For example, there would be a question and 4 answers, and then a scale form 1-12 along those 4 answers. I thought it might be a multiple choice with 4 choices, 1-3 for the first, 4-6 for the second, etc. But maybe it would work more like a likert scale. The result would need a score for the question between 1-12. There would be about 10 questions with 4 answers each, each with a scale of 1-12 for the answers.
