Hey there you wonderful technologists! I thought it might be fun to create a thread for us to share our tech stacks. Navigating the sea of apps can be tricky – every day my inbox is flooded with missives from SaaS companies explaining why I should subscribe to their product. But nothing beats word-of-mouth recommendations from peers, so let's share what's working for us and together we can break through the noise! I can go first… As a content specialist here on the Community Team I use a bunch of different tools to help me plan, create, publish and track content. I also use Typeform a lot to help me with my tasks, integrating it with the tools using either the native integration or via Zapier or Make. Aside from Gsuite (yawn), here are some of my favourite tools for getting stuff done: 🗂️ Airtable for managing and cataloging content. One of the things I use it for is keeping track of incoming case studies/testimonials. I set up an integration whereby a customer submits their case stud
Hello and happy Monday, folks! You might have received a private message from a user with a link to a Google Doc. Please do not click this link. While I’ve banned the user and other accounts they have created, I’m working with our community support team to prevent any more of these messages from being sent from any new accounts created by the same user. Until then, please don’t click on the link!Unless you receive a link to a gif from me. Then you should absolutely click the link. 😀
how i can export the infos that we requested on form? I have to sync an app or i could export after the form is published?
We’ve closed the form for collecting feedback. Thanks to all who participated! I know you have ALL been waiting for one feature in particular…collecting partial responses. If your respondent starts the form but leaves before submitting, their data isn’t saved to your Results panel. Our product team is looking to capture that information so you don’t lose it, and they’ve started conducting research on how best to approach this feature within Typeform. To do this, they need your feedback! Fill out the form here to let the product team know you’re interested in helping them shape partial responses in Typeform. (It only takes 3 minutes!) Selected respondents will be chosen and offered at $75 giftcard for taking part in a 1 hour video chat (at most). Any questions? Let us know in the thread below.
Hi, Is it possible add a second one URL in the same account to another projet?Thank a million
In working on a few forms I’ve found something that bugs me and I’m hoping we can get some kind of fix.Currently, when you have a question group and no logo in your theme, you get a really nice reminder of the question for all questions in the group. It looks like the image below. However, if you add a logo to your theme, that reminder bar disappears: Not having that reminder there about the question you’re answering limits the number of questions that you can reasonably put in a group and expect respondents to remember the question while answering. But, I like the look of the logo, so what I’m wanting is a mix of both.It would be great if the logo would always show unless it was a question group, which would draw over top of the logo and cover it up for the duration of that group. This would be my preference.Alternatively, let us have some options for where to place that logo. Maybe bottom left, that way it wouldn’t conflict with the reminder visual. Or, let us have some alternati
We currently use a WordPress site as a lightweight LMS (Learning Management System), and within that site we have a plugin called PDF Importer for WPForm Pro. That plugin allows us to capture responses in a webform and map specific answers to specific fields within an existing PDF. That existing PDF has a whole lot of logic and calculations within it that automate what used to be very time intensive manual entries. We use this extensively and it has absolutely revolutionized the way we handle many day to day needs across our company. We are looking at moving away from that WordPress LMS into a fully featured LMS, but none of them have the capability to fill this need for us, so I’m beginning to explore alternative methods for keeping these functions alive. This very much seems like something that would make sense to bake into Typeform, so I figured I would bring it up here in hopes of it maybe being implemented at some point down the road.
I’ve got a couple of small requests that would be helpful with the new Follow-Ups notification system. First, this is much improved over the old Notification system, thank you for implementing it. Second, two things I had minor issues with while formatting my emails today:There is no confirmation when you click on the Delete button - which is distressingly close to the Edit button. I accidentally deleted the entire notification I had been building for the hour plus beforehand. Luckily I had copy and pasted everything into a word doc, but I had made some changes since then, so I had to remember what I had changed and then re-enter all of the fields. If I hadn’t copied everything over it would have been a much bigger frustration. I’d like to be able to manually enter a reply-to email address. Right now I’m only able to select from the email address that the respondent may or may not have entered. These notifications are being forwarded to people that I don’t want to be able to

We’re already two months into the new year. How wild is that?! It seems like just a few weeks ago that we were wishing one another a happy new year. Now that we’re situated into 2023, it’s fair to say this year has been off to a wonderful start with plenty of new features and new faces around the community. With that, let’s dive into February: Since February, we’ve had 724 new folks join the community, bringing us to a total of 22,330 members. 101 of you were VideoAsk users - yay! 220 conversations were started, with 774 likes handed out 86,464 visitors stopped by the community and 39,344 of those were unique views. Here are some of the highlights from last month: VideoAsk has officially been part of the community for one whole year! A whole year! I can’t believe it’s been that long. See the celebration here. @andrew_videoask has been spamming giving us some fantastic answers on all your VideoAsk questions. Check out his most recent one here about embedding your VideoAsks

🎉 We’re celebrating one year of VideoAsk in the Community! 🎉 In some ways, I feel like we’ve been here forever, but actually, today marks one year of VideoAsk officially being part of the Typeform Community 😁It’s been a busy year, and it’s been fantastic to see so many wonderful videoask creators flocking to the Community to ask questions, and to have the privilege of sharing some inspiring stories via our Videoask customer stories. I’ve got to say a big thank you to @andrew_videoask @jkmorton @Grace.H @Anael VA @Phoebe VA and @Cat for all taking the time to share their knowledge and create some awesome VideoAsk Guides 💜 And to some of our most active VideoAsk members: @Darnell @SmallBiz Sidekick @Yuriy @IvanLC @MaxUnico @Mark.T @Jeanne Dimmick @yoav attias (to name just a few) we’re loving having you all here, asking questions, sharing ideas and keeping us on our toes - so a big thank you to you all! 💛 Traditionally, one year anniversaries are often marked with a gift made of
Hi,My name is Tim Johnson from California and I have been a preschool lead teacher and a substitute elementary teacher for the past several years. Recently I got a job doing in home preschool instruction. It's all new, so wish me luck!Nice to "meet" everyone!
Happy Valentine's Day folks! We figured that this feast day/commercial celebration of romance was a good excuse to resurrect our Typeform Love program. As regulars may remember, this was the scheme lovingly initiated by our dear Gabi to show our appreciation towards our most active community members. Well since Gabi left Typeform (amicably, I might add!) I'm ashamed to admit the Love disappeared with her – i.e. we hadn't found the time to keep the program going. For this I apologize, and to make amends we want to issue an overdue outpouring of Love to our most treasured members over the last four months! If you’ve been an active member in the community, you should get an email from us with ‘Love’. The email should look like this (it’s not spam!) Special shout out to these apples of our eyes: @john.desborough @Darnell @mathio@picsoung @andrew_videoask @jeremielp @Gabi.Amaral @DNALewis @jvh @Dan L @the other max @MaxUnico @Sangito Deva @Priscilla_Sapphira @suzieq Thank you all very
Hi thereTwo of the most common ‘errors’ I see are forms with unpublished changes that were missed, and forms the should be open but are closed (and vice versa).Closed/ Open in particular is difficult to monitor as it is a few layers deep inside the form, and there are many automated reasons for a form to close. I think a great way to help avoid these problems would be to have icons on the forms tile/ card similar to how total responses are shown. For example a blue open padlock or red closed padlock on top right of each tile, and top left an icon or text reversed out of black on forms that have changes to “Publish”.
Why pollution is increasing day by day??
Congratulations to everyone and thank you to all the other users of Typeform and VideoAsk who make this Community a vibrant and engaging place to learn about how to use Typeform and VideoAsk for fun and profit.
Hi - This post is mainly for the product team. Your field for birthdays allows people to enter dates in the future. It also requires full birthday (mm/dd/yy) and should allow for other options including month and year, and just year in the selection window. Second, I have a quiz that on the last page redirects to two different parts of my website. I would like those links to open in a new browser and not direct people away from their quiz results. (when they try to hit the back button to return to their results the quiz requires them to start completely over) It would be great to change how external links work. Thanks!Meredith
2023 has gotten off to a great start with lots of new features, updates to existing ones, and plenty of form-building activity amongst you all. Nothing like starting off the new year with sparkling new forms! With that, let’s dive into January: Since the beginning of 2023, we’ve had 770 new folks join the community, bringing us to a total of 21,609 members. 110 of you were VideoAsk users - yay! 220 conversations were started, with 635 likes handed out 126,313 visitors stopped by the community and 69,364 of those were unique views. Here are some of the highlights from last month: @Grace published our first VideoAsk Voyagers of the year showcasing Miguel Bautista’s collection of forms used for lead qualification and video diaries. Learn more about how they’re using VideoAsk here. If you want some additional inspiration, check out our favorite typeforms and videasks we spotted in the community and in the wild last year here. Our product team released a few new helpful featur
I’d love a feature that builds off of Typeform’s Picture Choice. Ideally, I’d like to have customizable sizes where you are not limited to using the same size for all options. Here’s a quick mockup of what I’m describing:
Hey, this may seem obvious but lots of members forget to choose an avatar or profile picture. I recommend you choose one yourself, it makes the community a lot more human and makes you more credible as a member. It does not necessarily need to be a picture of yourself, just make sure it’s appropriate Just go to your profile (top right) and click on settings. It should be pretty easy to do. If you have any problems let me know!If you wonder about my profile profile picture, it’s an image that a community member designed for me in previous life.
Feature Request: A Dedicated Place to Vote and Submit Feature Requests (Meta) Can we get a tag to separate feature requests from people asking for help? This would be useful for Typeform’s developers to see what everyone is requesting, and for others looking for similar requests. We can all vote collectively and draw attention to features we would like to see on future rollouts. Adobe does it really well.
It would be great for people to be able to take and upload pictures using their device camera. And even better if there was functionality to assess the quality of the image on the way in and reject it if it were blurry or insufficient contrast, ie: too dark and then give feedback to the user saying, please try again with more light or please try again without moving your image is blurred. And then I’d also like the link to each image to be available for passing via zapier to our CRM.
Don't be shy and ask the community.
