Typeform conversations

Hey everyone!Is there a way of formatting the response? I mean: When i ask someone their name they answer:Jane DoeJANE DOEJaNe DoEjane doeSo i was wondering is there is a way of no matter what the put, its always formatting like “Xxxx Xxxx” = Jane Doe? 

I want to calculate a cost based on two variables: size of an area (value is pre-defined) standard of finishing (value is pre-defined)How do I then calculate the results based on the range of different inputs for size and standard? 

Hello @ll,  I know that subject has already been discussed but I've something strange with my Typeform notification sent after form submission. The WhatsApp link worked well before, but without any change in the notification template, it does not work any more. Syntax look OK as I've tested in a test HTML and it works well :<a href="https://wa.me/[Telephone Number in the form]">Open a WhatsApp conversation with the customer</a> The link appears in the notification but there is no action when I'm clicking on it one in my mailbox. Could you please help me on this ?  Thanks in advance.  Baptiste

Hi dear community,I just tried to import a typeform from a google Doc (approx. 40 questions) and I am getting this error message: As it says “/fields/28” Is it true that this error is about question 28?I checked my question 28 but everything seems in order. I also checked the other items and everything looks fine. Can somebody please help me spot the error?You can find the import google doc here .(i will share it publicly and then restrict access after this issue has been solved) Cheers! Hi!My company has a number of different online marketplaces and we are planning to use Typeform to collect on-site CSAT feedback from customers across each marketplace. The surveys for each marketplace are exactly the same, the only difference is that the questions, and sometimes the response options often refer to the name of the particular marketplace. I added a hidden field called ‘market’ to the URL and have figured out how to pipe this into the question text. However there doesn’t seem to be an option to pipe text into the multiple choice options.I feel like this leaves me with two suboptimal alternatives: 1. Create separate CSATs for each marketplace - this is annoying because then I likely have to merge  all the data files at the end2. Change the question wordings so that the marketplace is only referred to in the question and not the response options - I gave this a go, but now the questions sound a little weird to be honest. Does anyone know of any other solutions I could look

I have a Typeform survey set up with a lot of Yes/No questions at the end and all the responses are coming back as True/False through the Slack integration.

Hello,I’m trying to use the ‘picture choice’ function to rank a user’s selections. The order they select them is visible in the submitted responses but it is not clear to the user at the time of selection, which ones are 1,2,3,4,etcIf the user selects their choices without changing their mind then it is kind of ok, but people are people and change their minds! An ideal would be to have the selections numbered (just like say on FB when you select a number of images to post) - I assume this isn’t possible, but can anyone suggest a good way of ranking images?I’ve seen this post:  But I have 17 items to choose from, so that approach doesn’t really lend itselfAny thoughts much appreciated Lewis

Typeform does a great job with allowing to translate/customize fields but not all of them are editable and need to be improved, added to translationsFile size Uploading Stripe text translations, those are non translatable.     

How do I add a third party tracking script to my typeform embed? this is a BASIC feature available on paperform.co why can't we do this with typeform?!?  There is no setting I can find to do this. Why is this so difficult?

I have just completed my first survey and the results are being sent to Google Sheets. The results columns are mismatched and the even the question order is off from the actual survey.  Ideas? Thanks.

Hello!When I first setup my MailChimp Integration on Typeform, it worked well.Now, when someone answers our Typeform, their email addresses won’t be added to our MailChimp list.I noticed this twice now and I was thinking maybe they didn’t consent to adding their email addresses to our subscription list (opt in) - which they were supposed to receive an email for.So, I tried using a temporary email address to answer the form, but it didn’t receive any opt in messages.What seems to be the problem? Is it here in Typeform or in MailChimp?I hope someone can help me. Thank you! 

Hi there, I have a question. Is it possible to save an answer triggered by users click on specific icon on a website?My case: User decides what is his/her opinion about search result and pick one of emoji. The icon which he/she picked up triggers an answer on the first step of survey and user sees the second page. (I want to avoid a case when user has to answer twice the same question). PS. I know that is possible with other similar tools, but I want to stay with my fav one (typeform <3). Thank you for your help

We are an accounting firm and we use Type Form for our end of financial year client questionnaire  It’s extremely important that we know who each respondent is.  There is a compulsory What is Your Name question in the form.   We have received a completed from from somebody who has answered the “what is your name” question with “myself”.  They have uploaded documents to the form, but unfortunately the uploaded documents don’t shed any light on who it was that actually filled out the form. Is there a way for us to figure out who it was that submitted the form?  Can the Typeform technical team go into the back end and see the email address from where the Typeform URL was clicked?? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies if I’m missing a really obvious FAQ that answers this question, but I’d love clarity on what respondent means in Typeform.  I’m used to using competitor software where response limits = number of individuals who answer the survey.  So on the basic plan you could send your survey to 10 people to fill in, no matter how many questions are in the survey.However, I seem to have hit my limit before then, so I’m wondering if each answer to each question is considered a response?!!   Meaning one survey of 10 questions answered by one person would use up all the free responses.Also, does Typeform log someone who starts a survey, but never finishes it, as a response (or log their saved, but not submitted answers, as responses)?Thanks to anyone who can help clarify this.   

Hi Everyone :) Been digging, searching for an answer on this, but not really finding anything…What I’m trying to do is:*Allow the user to share their results, socially, at the end of the quiz (I give a number result)*Allow the user to share the quiz (if their result sucked haha)Annnnnnnd it’d be amazing to share via more platforms than FB, Twit and Linked (i’d love to remove Linkedin)What I’ve found is:*Typeform only allow users to share the quiz to FB, Twitter & Linkedin*User can’t share their actual end of quiz result*User can’t share to any other platforms beyond the forced FB/T/LIs there a workaround here I’m not finding? Kinda seems weird there isn’t more flexibility around social sharing given the value of social currency, especially with quizzes, etc across social media. More so when the monthly cost is pretty decent.  Thanks :) L

I am new to Typeform, evaluating it for a use case for a non-profit I am working with. Wondering what’s possible with the salesforce integration. I would like to collect name and contact information in a form and then lookup the salesforce contact record to see if they already exist. If they do, then I would like to fill in the address information and ask if it is current. If not, then continue and have them fill in the address information on their own. At the end, if the contact existed, I need to create an opportunity. If the contact is new, then I need to create a lead.Can anyone tell me about similar use cases and how you handled them?

Hi community I would like to create a Typeform to measure brand awareness. I have 6 different partners who each need 1 000 respondents. Every respondent will answer questions about 2 partners.I have the following questions:Is it possible to randomize which partners the respondents receive questions about? When a partners have received 1 000 respondents, is it possible to automate/randomize that this partner no longer will receive any answers and instead the respondents get questions about other partners?BEST REGARDS Jocke

Hello, I have a Typeform survey and instead of asking the users for their emails, I use a hidden field (Since I already know their emails.)I would like to use that hidden field when integrating with Mailchimp. In its current form, the connect integration does not allow that. It has to be an actual question of the survey. As shown below:Is there a way for me to use the hidden field instead of an actual survey question without resorting to using third parties?Thanks in advance!
