Build your typeform

Hi, we're a startup that's constantly trying to improve the way we interact with our customers. We love typeform for it's versatility, ease of use and many integrations, but we'd like to create a custom question and were wondering if we can develop that format together.Just like the new personal information question, where there's multiple question fields in 1 screen, we're hoping to create a similar screen which accepts inputs to a few questions at once.We're a travel company and we're hoping to gather information on how many people are travelling together and what their age ranges are in one screen. In short, we need to know how many Adults, Teenagers, Children and Infants are coming on a trip. Just a number input for each question is fine.Our example only requires numeric question types, but I can imagine this functionality being very helpful for other people as well. Curious to hear your thoughts!

Hello everyone! I am attempting to use the logic in Typeform to create practice sales calls with audio. What I want is for the user to be able to listen to a sound clip and then choose the best path based on what they hear.So, the flow of the typeform would have multiple paths and endings but integrating audio clips is where I am getting stuck.I attempted to just screen record an audio clip but it appears that Typeform supports YouTube, Vimeo, or it’s own internal Video Ask. None of which are good options for us. Any suggestions? Thank you so very much!

I'm trying to build a unique Typeform based on a public domain values sorting method. The exercise requires the following flow: User rates 50 values on a 3-point scale (could be saved in variables?) Then the user reviews all values that received a 3 and makes a binary choice to include them in the next step (10 total) …. not sure how to inject the 3’s into a new question??? Then the user reviews all the accepted values again and selects just 5 … again I’m not sure how to inject the 3’s into a new question??? If you think this is possible I’d love to hear from you! FYI, this will be integrated in our mental health courses at Therahive.com and made available for free to the public. 

I want to do a typeform assessment with my clients that would output recommendations based on how they answer (and would also give links as to where on my site they should go to access next steps). I just want to know if this is possible before I subscribe to a paid plan. The form would basically ask yes/no or multiple choice questions. Depending on how they answer, could the form give a “handout/document/page” that the person can be given, immediately following the completion of the form, that would have recommendations based on the information put in? I’m not sure if this is where I should go to find out this information… please advise.

Hello,I want to design a survey for runners to see where they might be going wrong in their training and offer a list of tailored advice once they complete they form. I imagine asking questions throughout the survey like ‘how many days do you run per week, and how often do you strength train etc.Based on the answers they provide, the end of the survey offer a list of dot points of all the tips that will be helpful to them. Can this be done?

Hi, i have a pro account and i have duplicated a form so i can edit and  update it but it wont show me a view that lets me edit it. There’s no view that shows the publish button etc. I keep seeing this page. and I am viewing on the laptop. 

Hello, I need to add a “question group” to several type forms that was left out. How do I do that without having to manually type out the same group question for every type form?

Hi, I’m creating a survey with Typeform (not VideoAsk) and I don’t want the continue/ok button to appear immediately a slide is opened by the audience. I want the button delayed a bit so they don’t immediately see it and then scroll through all the questions right away.Please note that I’ve seen this answer and accompanying screenshot here but it is not helpful for me because I don’t see the ‘Delay Interaction’ option in my Typeform settings. This is all I see in my settings:  How do I locate the ‘Delay Interaction’ option? Specifically in Typeform, not VideoAsk.Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

HejI am creating a questionare for work. And we got 5 branches with different topics No that I am adding the 6th branch the new Questions got “new” numbers. So eventually my new question is No 2 but through that all the other old branches get a new number and eventually one entire branch is messed up and it says “You can't jump back to a skipped question or a different question branch. But it is the threat i need to foloow.help much appreciated,, otherwise it seems that I have to do everything new.and its a lot. ThanksSonja

Hi friends!  I have created my own website and my menu buttons are essentially images.  I created a pop-up form for kids to sign up to our free birthday club, and I need to attach it to my already create “Birthday Club” button that matches my other buttons. I can’t seem to figure out how to do this or how to use the pop-up without the build in button creator. 

 I don't want to embed this within the question description itself. Is this possible?

Greetings,I’m new to Typeform and have a question about the umm.. questions and corresponding identifier/field names. When building out logic, many questions seem cut off in the logic tree, making it hard to know what’s what. If we’re creating some redundancy in questions (individual vs. couple for example but with similar questions), there seems no way to rename the sections for easier orgnanization. Rather than it show the full question (ex, “what is your first name”), can we not change it to “First Name”?  Second, if we can’t change the naming convention/fields, when we export files, it seems we’ll have quite a dumpster fire on our hands, trying to organize things, wasting alot of time converting “what’s your first name?” to first name, etc.  Any guidance would be much appreciated. 

Hi All, I want to create an interactive wizard where the user initially has to choose among six arguments; once completed the branch related to the first argument selected, he should then be able to decide to answer another one….but the logic gives me an error … How can I solve this?I really appreciate any help you can provide,Annalisa

New to typeform.I would like to add metadata to a question to help qualify the data that’s provided.  For example, if I add a question such as “What is your name?”  I would like to have a hidden tag or some way to label that question as a “name” field type so my down stream processing can understand that this is a name and not just text.TIAMichael

Email field not allowing dash or hyphen in domain in any Typeform, even the demo templates but it was last week. Is this something anyone else is seeing or something with cookies? Here’s one of the demo templates. https://www.typeform.com/templates/t/simple-registration/Using email address of abc@abc-usa.com is blocked but abc@abcusa.com is okay..Error happens in all Typeforms we have tried.Can this be fixed please?

Is it possible to drag multiple questions on the logic page? I have around 100 questions Id like to move. I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer. 

I’ve read through so many threads now, all questions of how to do logic and I’m non the wiser. I have an Outcome Personality Quiz of 25 questions.The possible answers are 1 - 5 (Very Unlikely to Very Likely) Each question has been assigned a variable score that if they choose Option 4 they get 1 point added to the specific archetype score which that question refers to) with Option 5 giving them 2 points. Basically, if they press “4” on all questions, then the final result would be 5/10 on All Archetypes. If they press “5” on All Questions, the end results would be 10/10 for every Archetype. I also have 5 End Pages. These were working just fine when I had JUST Outcome Quiz scoring set up (attributing Archetype points if they chose 4 or 5 of the Questions referring to that archetype - so if Q1 was one regarding the traits of Archetype 2 and they pressed 4 or 5, then Archetype 2 got a boost, and so on) - This works perfectly and sent people to the correct End pages at the end. But the mom

Hello Folks,I have a question where I ask my users to select up to 3 cities where they are interested to invest on. After submitting the form, I want to redirect them to a booking form based on their answer, but the tricky part is that it will also depend on how many answers they gave.Example: if they only answer Paris, I will redirect them directly to the booking page of my Parisian expert but if they answer several cities at once, I will send them to a global sale that will help them narrow their destination. Currently if I set a condition like if 5 = Paris then go to B if the redirection happens if any of the answer is Paris, not if the exact answer is paris.Any idea on how I could achieve this ?

The user is already on my site and logged in so I know their email address. When the access a certain beta feature (with waitlist), I’d like to prompt them to join the waitlist and collect some data about their use case. However, since we already know who they are, I’d like to add identifying information to the form submission, without having to prompt the user for it. It could be email (preferred), or could be user_id. In either case, the value would come from the javascript environment that is rendering the app and form. I have not had luck finding this answer in the docs; Google thinks I’m asking about notifications :( 

Hello,I am trying to create a quiz calculator with 7 questions and 7 variables. The variables are all numeric, with initial value = 0.The idea is that depending on which answer you choose in each of the questions, it adds an amount to each of the variables.For example:If in question 1 you choose option A, add @mini=+5 and @indu=+2 (and the rest of the variables remain zero).If it is question 2, choose option C, sama @nord=+4 and @mini=+2-So the result would be @mini=5+2=7 indu=2 and nord=4.Then I am sending the results using a URL of the type mydomain.com/mypage/?mini=(result)&nord=(result)&indu=(result)The URL works fine and shows me the data, but the summation is not done right.Is it possible to create this kind of calculators using variables?Thank you. My form requires a date that most of the times will be the current date (the date when the form was filled).It is important that my form can be filled quickly so is there a way that I can preset the date question with the current date but still allow the user to change it if necessary?

Is there a way to prevent a user from going to the next step until the payment from the payment question is correct. I’m looking to charge for a consultation and then allow the customer to schedule the meeting in the following question.I don’t want the user to be able to move on to the next question to schedule a meeting if the payment wasn’t successful.Is this possible?
