Trying to start a type form and baffled where to start, can someone tell me please
I did a quiz with multiple choice questions and after each question there is a statement with the correct answer. Therefore, I don't want it to be possible for the user to return to the previous question, so the user can answer again, this time, knowing the correct answer.
Hi, We plan to use Typeform for our survey. Typeform will capture the customer's IP address and restrict them from submitting the survey multiple times?
I need to to have a long text form that have minimum 2500 character and maximum 2600 character. How can I set this?
I have tried building forms with the help of AI in Beta. It's really good! It saves you work time thinking about logic. Now you do in minutes what used to take hours. It will always be necessary to ask people what they think but now it is easier to build it. !Very good! Thanks Typeform team@Grace @James
I am unable to have decimal number input when I set it up as number input only. Any tips?
Hello, I have noticed an issue when building a quiz mode form. When asnwering a question from desktop, the OK button is proposed to select the answer, the message pop-up, and then the button changes to continue, which make sens for the user. But using a mobile, the OK button doesn’t change to continue, which is confusing for the user. Did anybody notice that before ? Is is a bug ? Thanks for your help Mobile viewDesktop view
I can add a numeric type question to a Question Group, but when I try to add it to a Multi Question Page, I’m notified that the question type is not supported. Considering that a numeric validation is pretty basic, can some please explain to me why, or whether I’m doing something wrong? All I want is a very simple, single view where respondents can enter the size of their teams in different geographies, where some geos are subsets of others, without having to flip across questions (with validation that their responses are positive numbers). And my survey has a few question sets like this. Am I tripping that this is basic functionality and I might just be missing something?
So i failed to see my question answered, but i want to create a weighted judging survey. Each question is weight for example Innovation question is worth 20%. The answer doesn't matter. Whether its a 0 or a 5 it is still worth 20% of the total score. So its not each choice/answer is weighted, no the question itself no matter the choice.
We have different email addresses set up for different forms, and we’d like respondents to receive emails from the corresponding address when they complete a form. For example: Respondents who complete Form 1 should receive emails from Email 1 Respondents who complete Form 2 should receive emails from Email 2 Currently, it seems that the “Manage From” section only allows adding one separate email address (not tied to a team seat). Could you confirm if there’s a way to add multiple “From” addresses for different forms?
The question text is set to opacity 0.7, so it’s not very legible. How can I change this to opacity 1?See screenshot example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuYbJry
Hi all, I wanted to post here to see if anyone has got partial submit points turned on by default and whether this can be turned off? I don’t use this feature at my organisation because of the GDPR ramifications. A respondent might put their details in, partially submit their response, and then their personal data may be collected automatically without consenting fully to this. I usually link to our privacy policy or have a consent statement at the end of the form and not at the start.I’m about to share this update with all the Typeform editors in my organisation but it feels a bit strange to say “this thing is added by default, please delete it every time you make a new form”.Anyone else on a similar page?
Rather than asking respondents to share the link to our form on their social media, our ideal form-end action is to build our audience through asking the respondent to follow us on social (linking to our social handles), refer a friend (linking to our refer-a-friend Typeform), and learn more (linking to our blog).Rather than having to create and link to a distinct landing page, it’d be amazing if these actions were possible via the native Typeform form ending. How have folks with similar goals solved for this?
Having multiple fields of Contact Info was a great addition by Typeform. But what about the legal consent?I understand the design of having single questions on each page, and how it increases engagement, so please, if Typeform staff is responding, don’t feed me that. But it makes a lot of sense for those of us asking people to “opt in” and consent to having emails sent, to have some sort of “consent” field in addition to Contact Info. Currently I do it two ways, neither of which are ideal:Ask for consent in a separate question Add a statement to the Contact Info form, that says something to the tone of “By providing your contact information, you consent to receive emails….”What would be IDEAL is having the contact info fields, and below that, a required tickbox that allows them to consent. What’s funny, is Typeform, you use this on your own contact form (see attached screengrab). How did you do it, and why isn’t that an option for users?
Hi,Is it possible to export the form content (questions, choices, logics), not the result, in pdf or Excel ?ThanksDom
Hi everyone! 👋I’m building a quiz in Typeform that uses multiple custom variables (like @calm, @contact, @care, etc.) to assign points to different categories. All of my variables are set up correctly in the Variables tab as numbers with a starting value of 0.However, when I go into Workflow → Branching to create my “Go to” logic, Typeform isn’t recognizing those variables properly. Here’s what’s happening: In Safari, I can type variable names manually, but they stay as plain text (they don’t turn into variable “chips”). In Chrome, I can’t type anything at all into the comparison field — it’s completely uneditable. I’ve tried saving, refreshing, and reopening the form, and all variables appear in the Variables panel as expected, but they still don’t show up as selectable options in Branching. I’ve cleared cache, tried both browsers, and even duplicated the form — still no luck.Question:Has anyone else experienced this issue with custom variable recognition in Branching? Is there a k
I have a survey of 130 multiple choice questions. Like a matrix, but, I want to use the multiple choice option instead. Each of the 5 multiple choices for each question has the same equivalent score - i.e. Answer A is = 1, Answer B is = 2, Answer 3 is = 3 …. and so on.I want the output to give me the matching score, rather than the written answer.I also don’t need the running total of the scores.Only the individual answer score is relevant, as, the responses are then entered into a large spreadsheet with calculation formulas based on the score.I have pasted an example below of the kind of output I need. I originally thought I would do something in Zapier, but, it’s going to be a ver long Zap. I feel there must be a way to get this report out of Typeform? I would love to hear the thoughts of the community.
I am having the respondents enter a start date and end date of an event. Instead of asking the respondent how many total days they were there, how can I use the start/end dates to figure this information?

Hi, unfortunately we deleted the one of our firms with very very important information. Could you please restore it. It is called the Recruitment form?
Hi,We want to implement a emotion meter (5 stages). What do you recommend, how should I build that in Typeform?Best,Jeroen
I have a Typeform with a few text fields, and I want a way to prefill these fields. For example, if someone is on a specific page of my website and clicks the Typeform link, I want certain information to already appear in the form. Ideally, this would be done through the URL, but I’m open to other methods as well.My main goal is to prefill open-ended text fields such as name, email, and phone number, not multiple-choice questions.
hi everyone thanks for reading this. i have a two question client feedback survey that i’d like to run on an ipad (kiosk mode). when each client has answered the second question, i’d like a thank you message, then a short pause (maybe 3 seconds) the. the survey restarts automatically. can this be done? best wishesmax
Hi, we are developing an evaluation model. We have already all architecture in a excel (thematic blocks, questions and ponderate rates, ... ) but we don’t know how to convert to typeform. If anyone are interested in this work, please write me back Thank you,Cristina
