Matching Contact on email in Salesforce

Hi, I have set up the Typeform - Salesforce intergration and mapped our form to a custom object in salesforce. I would like to have that custom object sit on the Contact object and for the form to be matched to the contact by the email address that is entered on the form. Is this possible? ThanksMichelle

Salesforce Custom Object link to Contact

Hi. My question is exactly like this one, which was not answered? How to map a hidden field to a master-detail field? | Community (typeform.com)We have survey responses form, mapped to a custom object in Salesforce. This is easy enough given the online instructions which are great (One day new with Typeform) What I am unable to figure out, how to connect the custom objects created from the survey form to the respective contacts in SF? That is, for the child object (custom object) to link to the master object (contact). From what I can tell we could pass a hidden SF_Contact_ID or even use the email address of contact - but where in the form mapping to SF do we indicate this is the field to “link” the custom object to the Contact using the SF_Contact_ID or email?At first, I thought it would involve two mappings. 1. Contact - just using the field to match to existing, then a second mapping 2. The survey responses to the custom object - but no joy, the Contact mapping requires surname, etc

Visualising data and creating reports

Hi all and one for you @john.desborough :)I’m trying to figure out the best way to automate (as much as possible) data visualisation and report creation off the back of survey data collection.My current process is painful and goes like this:Typeform survey Responses fed to google sheets Download excel version Merge into another excel which has formula/calculations set up Check for errors (there are some error formulas setup within it) Visualise key stats manually in Sketch/Illustrator Produce PDF and sendVery manual! Zoho integration is on but not connected

Hello, Our integration between Typeform and Zoho seems to not be working as of this morning. Not sure how to troubleshoot and I am afraid that toggling the connection button would lead to unwanted outcomes.

Prevent popup from showing to visitor every time they visit the home page

I’m using typeform’s popup chat to survey my audience, however, I want to prevent this popup from showing to the same person every time they visit my home page. Squarespace allows me to delay showing the pop up again for a set number of days, ex. do not show pop up again for 30 days. Also, if someone has submitted the form, they will see the popup again when they visit my site. I want to find a way to use my pop up without it being intrusive or annoying to visitors. Do you have code for this? Not sure why it isn’t a built in feature, as that seems super useful in so many contexts!

typeform events not showing in GA4

We have installed Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Everything is double-checked and is linked. In Google Analytics when we search for the form name ex. EP1WxePW. We can find the form.However, we don’t see the events that are mentioned in the blogpost of Typeform. (TypeformSubmit) What are we doing wrong? Do we have to manually create them via Google Tag Manager? In a related topic they mentioned that the same events are being sent as UA. Is this really the case? I find a lot of related topics that are not solved.  Our events:Can someone help? Thnx!

Cannot identify Salesforce integration error

I have setup a form and Salesforce integration mapping but continue to receive an error for the mapping. It does not provide any details other than “Exception: Invalid field typeform__Typeform_Form_Mapping__c for Interests__c”. I have double checked that my fields are mapped to the correct type of field in Salesforce but am still receiving the error. I have also mapped all required fields from the form to Salesforce as well in case that would have thrown the error. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

How to assign a Ref to a multiple choice answer

SFDC Case Fields not available for mapping

Hi,I’m having an issue with some custom fields on the Case object in SFDC not showing up in the list of available destinations to map to in my Typeform mapping. The fields in question are the correct type to match up (they are text fields in my Typeform and text fields in SF as well). I can’t figure out why they aren’t available to map my responses to. It must be something to do with the field configuration within Salesforce, but I can’t figure out what the hang up is.Any suggestions as to the full list of requirements for a field to be available for mapping to?Thanks in advance!

Hello is there a solution for the Conversion API?We can track in the events manager, the Typeformfirstinteraction and the Typeformsubmit. But as you can see, the Conversion API is only displayed on PageView.Thanks

Typeform to Facebook Conversion API. Has anyone got it working somehow?

Due to ad blockers and what not the importance of sending data to Facebook via Conversion API has become important. Read a case study where they saw an uplift of 46% in conversions by simply doing this.Since Typeform doesn’t have a direct integration with Facebooks Conversion API, has anybody found a way to get this working? Would be grateful for any tips.

Can an Airtable be used to update several tables in Airtable?

I have an Airtable based used to track faculty members and the courses they teach. In my base, there’s a table for informaton about the faculty and a table for information about their courses, and the tables are linked. There does not appear to be a way to use an Airtable form to update information from two tables at the same time (such as a questionnaire to faculty members asking about their personal information as well as the courses they teach). Can this be done with Typeform? I’m new to Typeform, but it seems as though the integration only allows you to map the Typeform responses to a single table in Airtable.

Googler sheet integration doesn't work

Hello.After working without problems for some time, the google sheet integration of some forms (those that were collected in a single sheet) are skipped (perhaps because I think I deleted a tab in the sheet?).Now I have eliminated the sheet that collected all the forms and I tried to make a new one (doing a new integration) but it still doesn't work: the sheet fills up when I integrate them but then it doesn't update the results.

Squarespace Embed — Getting the button design right

I’ve managed to embed as per instructions but the button design is way off the button design of the main site.Is there a way to embed the form as a pop-up but do so with a button in keeping with the site design?

Can I prevent an embedded form from being mouse scrollable to the next question on my webpage?

I have a Typeform embedded on my Shopify site, but when I am scrolling down the site and the cursor reaches the point where it is hovering over the Typeform, it begins the scroll down action on the form, causing it to scroll to the next question. I know that one way to prevent this from happening is to set up a logic such that you cannot go to the next question without answering it first. However, I’ve set up my first slide on my form to be a statement as a sort of “Take this quiz!” opening slide and would prefer for it to be fixed on that slide and not scrollable until the user has clicked on the button to begin the form’s questions. Not sure why this isn’t a function that can be readily disabled since it’s a huge hassle and disruption in user experience when Typeforms are being embedded on a web page. I saw a similar concern on this forum, but have no idea how to implement it: https://github.com/Typeform/embed/issues/481Hoping someone can provide some help or a solution! 😊

Quickbase and Typeform Integration error 404 path not found

I am trying to integrate quickbase and Typeform, this is based off of an orders status.I have created a pipeline to integrate with Typeform API. Typeform display problem on mobile

Hi !As you can see on the screenshots, I have a problem with my typeform on mobile, the form is displayed correctly before you start the form, but then you can see that the size change and it overflows on the right outside the margins. I use a wordpress website with Divi.Thanks for your help.

How do I store an email address in a hidden field?

Before sending users to an embedded typeform in my web site, I ask for the user's email address, and then pass that as a hidden variable to typeform, and eventually use it when typeform posts to my web hook.Generally speaking this works fine, but every once in a while someone manages to sneak in an empty email address, which my backend doesn't like.To prevent this, I could check the hidden field in typeform and if it's empty, send people to a Contact Info form where I ask for the email address, or, if the email address was already entered, just send them straight to my real quiz.If I go this route, how do I tell typeform to put the email address collected in that first Contact Info into the hidden email variable? I don't see a way to make that connection.

HELP!! My Integration from Typeworm to Airtable wont work for multiple selection!

Dear Support Team,I've been encountering an issue while trying to integrate my Typeform with Airtable using Zapier.
