Phone Number Question is no longer working in Conversations
Since the update today, the phone number question is now broken when used in “Conversations”.No matter what number or format the user replies with, it gives the message:Hmm... that phone number isn't valid This has effectively broken my Forms. Please let me know if this can be fixed quickly, or should I plan on abandoning Phone Number and just switch to Numbers.
Feature Request: Form open/ closed and unpublished changes icons on cards
Hi thereTwo of the most common ‘errors’ I see are forms with unpublished changes that were missed, and forms the should be open but are closed (and vice versa).Closed/ Open in particular is difficult to monitor as it is a few layers deep inside the form, and there are many automated reasons for a form to close. I think a great way to help avoid these problems would be to have icons on the forms tile/ card similar to how total responses are shown.For example a blue open padlock or red closed padlock on top right of each tile, and top left an icon or text reversed out of black on forms that have changes to “Publish”.

Two pieces of feedback - Birthdays in the Future and links need to open in a separate browser window
Hi - This post is mainly for the product team. Your field for birthdays allows people to enter dates in the future. It also requires full birthday (mm/dd/yy) and should allow for other options including month and year, and just year in the selection window. Second, I have a quiz that on the last page redirects to two different parts of my website. I would like those links to open in a new browser and not direct people away from their quiz results. (when they try to hit the back button to return to their results the quiz requires them to start completely over) It would be great to change how external links work.Thanks!Meredith

2023 has gotten off to a great start with lots of new features, updates to existing ones, and plenty of form-building activity amongst you all. Nothing like starting off the new year with sparkling new forms! With that, let’s dive into January: Since the beginning of 2023, we’ve had 770 new folks join the community, bringing us to a total of 21,609 members. 110 of you were VideoAsk users - yay! 220 conversations were started, with 635 likes handed out 126,313 visitors stopped by the community and 69,364 of those were unique views. Here are some of the highlights from last month: @Grace published our first VideoAsk Voyagers of the year showcasing Miguel Bautista’s collection of forms used for lead qualification and video diaries. Numerical field allows Japanese text input?
Hi! I’m new to TypeForm and I so far love the product but I have a crucial issue which might become a deal breaker for me.When I make a numerical question, I can’t type alphabets and symbols but somehow the field accepts Japanese text input (basically all 2 byte characters like “あ”, “Ａ” or “１”) and does not show any error.Is this a known bug, or is there any way to make this not happen? If it is a bug, it would be quite critical to anyone using Japanese, Korean, Chinese and all other languages using 2 or 3 byte characters. Thank you,Yuki

Question scores displayed in fields / rather than the selected response or the total calculation
I have a survey of 130 multiple choice questions. Like a matrix, but, I want to use the multiple choice option instead. Each of the 5 multiple choices for each question has the same equivalent score - i.e. Answer A is = 1, Answer B is = 2, Answer 3 is = 3 …. and so on.I want the output to give me the matching score, rather than the written answer.I also don’t need the running total of the scores.Only the individual answer score is relevant, as, the responses are then entered into a large spreadsheet with calculation formulas based on the score.I have pasted an example below of the kind of output I need. I originally thought I would do something in Zapier, but, it’s going to be a ver long Zap. I feel there must be a way to get this report out of Typeform? I would love to hear the thoughts of the community.
Make sure to choose a profile picture
Hey, this may seem obvious but lots of members forget to choose an avatar or profile picture. I recommend you choose one yourself, it makes the community a lot more human and makes you more credible as a member. It does not necessarily need to be a picture of yourself, just make sure it’s appropriate Just go to your profile (top right) and click on settings. It should be pretty easy to do. If you have any problems let me know!If you wonder about my profile profile picture, it’s an image that a community member designed for me in previous life.
Feature Request: A Typeform Forum Dedicated to Feature Requests (Meta)
Feature Request: A Dedicated Place to Vote and Submit Feature Requests (Meta) Can we get a tag to separate feature requests from people asking for help? This would be useful for Typeform’s developers to see what everyone is requesting, and for others looking for similar requests. We can all vote collectively and draw attention to features we would like to see on future rollouts. Adobe does it really well.
Picture upload from device camera
It would be great for people to be able to take and upload pictures using their device camera. And even better if there was functionality to assess the quality of the image on the way in and reject it if it were blurry or insufficient contrast, ie: too dark and then give feedback to the user saying, please try again with more light or please try again without moving your image is blurred.And then I’d also like the link to each image to be available for passing via zapier to our CRM.
Document Studio Reducing Image Quality
Hi Community I’m hoping you can help,I have a reporting structure set up for our Typeforms with Google Sheets/Google Slides and Document Studio.It was working perfectly pre-Christmas and was tried and tested. Now all of a sudden the images being pulled from the spreadsheet to the reports are massively reduced in quality, blurry and unreadable.I’ve genuinely changed nothing so I don’t know what has happened. Hello hello folks and happy evening or morning, depending where you are in the world. Typeform & VideoAsk are back up and operationalThank you all for flagging your concerns and we sincerely apologize for the interruption. At this time, service has been restored, with logins and sign ups working as designed. We’re still getting to the bottom of this. But here is what we know right now:The incident was caused by an expired SSL certificate failing to update due to an integration issue with our security supplier. We want to assure you that although login and signup services were interrupted during the incident, submissions were functioning throughout and no data was lost.Our engineering teams will continue to review the incident to ensure we put measures in place that prevent this from reoccurring, In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.If you ever are wondering if an outage is happening, you should see a notification in the community (if not, let me kn
