News, announcements and other meaningful conversations about our community
Hi folks Happy 5K day in the community. We just reached 5,000 members and it’s time for a little celebration Back in January we were just 300 hundred people in here so it’s been fun to see the community grow in the past few months. I’ve recorded a little video for y’all. Our main mission since launch is to make sure you are not alone when building your typeforms. So, if you have a question and/or you hit a roadblock, here we are for you This community is full of natural born helpers, so I encourage you all to share with the community any struggles you may find when using Typeform. We’ll always go the extra mile to help you out. We’re planning more initiatives in the coming year and have some ambitions plans for the next year. So, make sure to stay tuned! May the forms be with you. Header design by @cecilia.giglio
Hey guys! Happy Monday :) I have been wondering if the team has ever thought about developing a VideoAsk certification? That way if you wanted to offer VideoAsk consultancy as a service, the customer would know you’re a trusted ‘expert / solution architect’.Would be great to hear your thoughts on this!CC: @Liz , @Grace
Hello Community! Wondering how our rank and our badges work? We've got you covered! 🥳 The community rank is a fun element that recognizes and rewards members who actively participate. Your rank level is based on your engagement in the community: how often you post, your helpfulness and the value of your contributions. Let me get a bit deeper into our ranks and what they mean: Just touched down: This is the first step! Members who have just joined the community will start here. Navigating the land: Navigating the land is easy, you just need to comment on a topic or two and start participating. Explorer: To become an Explorer you need to start your own topic. Socializer: As the name suggests, to reach this rank you have to exchange ideas with others creators and go into the nitty-gritty of building typeforms and videoasks. Sharing wisdom: To hit this rank you will have to consistently engage in people’s questions and challenges. Tastemaker: Becoming a Tastemaker is a
I want to be able to copy individual questions or question groups (with logic) to other typeforms. I think the best way to do that is to create a question repository for often used questions, question groups (with logic) and/or complete typeform templates. An extra feature to be able to share those again between colleagues or friends. That way we can drag and drop to make custom typeforms quickly or combine the good stuff from different typeforms and also maintain uniformity in how questions are asked (and answered) which helps a great deal with integrations especially.

At a higher level, the show is about brand. There are many components that make up a meaningful brand, but few understand this at the level of David Aaker. David’s written 17 books on brand, and an 18th is on its way. It’s rare to sit with someone with such a depth of knowledge and understanding on a topic area, and all the intricacies of becoming meaningful deliberately (yes, you as a solo or as an employee can do this). The Professor seamlessly weaves the core pillars of a meaningful brand (functional, personal, and collective benefits) into this conversation because he gets what a meaningful brand is at its core.It was an honor to meet the humble Professor, and it’s my honor to share the episode with you: Enjoy.
Hi,Just want to report a bug (or a design issue?). When users select one or more options, and then type something in “Other” in a multiple selection question, and click Submit without pressing enter key or clicking on the tick button, what s/he just typed won‘t be recorded in their response.
I created a form in Thai language. Once published, let’s say 5% of users complained of experiencing strange questions. Upon inquiries, I found out that the whole form seems to be translated into Thai. Not just English to Thai but Thai to very strange Thai. It made no sense and caused disreputable!!
Has anyone every used typeform to gather data for job board submissions? I am thinking about using Jotform, but I love how simple Typeform is for users to use. What I am trying to achieve is to have employers post jobs to a job board that I am building with Webflow. Basically, they submissions coming in will be pushed to Airtable and then pushed to the Webflow CMS that will display the jobs listings submitted via the Typeform. My only thing, is that when a employer wants to submit jobs after their initial one, they’ll have to fill out all of their company details again. If anyone has collected job board submissions with Typeform, I’d love to hear how you went about it.
The “new” free plan is useless. Ten responses per month. What a joke! Basically, type form is saying that virtually everyone needs to have a paid subscription. I used type form once or twice a year to get free back from a group of teenagers that I mentor as a volunteer. There are 15-20 people in the group. As a free user I was happy to advertise type form to this group and their parents. Now, I will need to look for a different service.
“The adequacy decision on the EU-US Privacy Shield was adopted on 12 July 2016 and allowed the free transfer of data to companies certified in the US under the Privacy Shield. In its judgment of 16 July 2020 (Case C-311/18), the Court of Justice of the European Union invalidated the adequacy decision. The EU-US Privacy Shield is therefore no longer a valid mechanism to transfer personal data from the European Union to the United States. “How has Typeform reacted to this decision as it is no longer under the “umbrella” of the Privacy Shield? The current information on privacy points to most data being stored in the US and creates a problem for businesses and organizations in EU.
