I am creating an informational form, and it requires a number of multiple choice questions. But many of the individual choices within the multiple choice list could benefit from additional explanations. For example, the question might be:What color palettes do you like the most?Pastels Jewel tones Monochromatic Black and whiteI would like to be able to include a definition for each of the answers, so the test taker knows what I mean by each turn, but when I add the definition into the actual answer, the form becomes really unwieldy and difficult to reach.Is there any way to add these definitions--maybe if they hover over the item some text is shown, or subheadings in a smaller text under each item that defines them, or some other option that I can’t imagine?
Hi everyone,I’m struggling with a logic issue regarding the Stripe Payment question.I need to implement a discount code system. I have already: Created a numeric variable called price (default value: 150). Set up the Branching & Calculations logic so that if a user enters a specific coupon code, it subtracts a value from the price variable. The problem: When I go to the Payment question settings, I cannot find a way to link the price variable to the Stripe field. Typing "@" in the price field doesn't trigger the variable list. I don't see the "Use a variable to calculate price" toggle in the Logic/Payment settings. Is this feature restricted to specific plans, or is there a new way to map variables to the Payment block in the current editor?Thank you for your help!

Today I have been trying to edit a questionnair I had already done and in the creator universal mode I am not able to see the answer options and edit them for multiple choice questions, even though they are there when selecting preview. Why is this and how can I fix it?
Greetings (first time poster),I’d like to create a form that has a number of sections, with subsections. Each subsection has a similar layout, though the qustions and guidance may be a litte different in each subsection. It’s organized like this:Section - opening sections with instructions Section Subsection Subsection Subsection Section Subsection Subsection Subsection Subsection Section - closeing sections with a few questionsI’d like to present this structure on the left side, similar to the Table of Contents in a PDF. The user clicks on a section or subsection and, on the right side (main pane), is presented with a set of questions. (The types of responses can can be multiple choice, a text field, a scale from 1 to 7 ,and a list of responses to a question (preferably with a + button that let’s them add a text item to a list (up to 10). But first I need to know how oto create the basic sructure I need).How can I accomplish this structure?TIA

Something went wrong… Your form has formatting issues and we cannot open it.”A few details: I’m not copy-pasting anything (just typing normally) It happens consistently when editing the form I’ve already tried refreshing the page Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing it? Hello everyone,I’m running into an issue with a loop-like structure in my Typeform.I set up my form so users can go through the same set of questions multiple times (to simulate a loop), but I’m facing a problem with the data: In the ending screen, only the first set of answers is displayed More importantly, in the Google Sheets integration, I also only receive the first set of responses (or sometimes only one value), instead of all iterations It seems like Typeform is not storing multiple answers for the same question when it’s repeated through logic, and instead overwrites or keeps a single value.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a recommended way to properly capture multiple iterations of the same questions and send all responses to Google Sheets?Thanks a lot for your help!
Hello, I have created a form where teaches rate themselves on their performance en 11 different areas. in each area (section) there are 5or 6 different questions where they rate themselves fro 1-4. at the end of the survey I would like them to see how thy have scored in each section overall, and then provide some next steps. For example, if they scored between 1-2 (which is low) on ‘knowing the subject,’ i would advise them to do a further in depth survey Is this possible? I cannot understand how to do this from the instructions I have been sent.
Hello 👋I’m using multiple Typeforms for configuring different products, each connected to Google Sheets to send responses via email. I have two questions: Is it possible, at the end of a questionnaire, to redirect users to another specific questionnaire based on their choice? If so, is it possible to consolidate responses from multiple Typeforms into a single Google Sheet (or database), so that we can combine summaries from several questionnaires for the same user? folks - a quick question that I am trying to find answers to across the Typeform ‘estate’ of documentation but not having success in finding:it is always an issue with asking for email addresses from respondents - easy enough to validate the format of an email but not so easy to know on submission if the email address is valid. ie joe@yeahyeahyeah.ca - the format looks fine but is this a real email address?is there an integration with an email verification tool that is available (i could not see one in the list)? I know there are several different workflows that can be used to verify and validate that yes someone did indeed complete the form (ie an email notification to the user that says thanks for message and either asks them to confirm their email address and sends a hidden field back to another typeform, etc, as per the tutorials and the help doco) but rather than have to address exceptions coming back from ‘bad email addresses’ etc., is there an integration to something like xver
Hi,I have a question which asks the user to put in their userid for our organisation. This userid is in the form of an alphnumeric code of a specific length. As some users have not been entering it correctly, I’d like to add validation to the Typeform text box to specify that the code has to be a certain length. Is this possible, and if so, please could you let me know how I might go about specifying this? Many thanks Jamie
I want the “email?” question in my typeform to validate that the respondents email is using the correct format, in google forms you can use regular expression matches: [a-zA-Z0-9_\.\+-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9-]+\.[a-zA-Z0-9-\.]+ and then set a custom error message like “Please provide a valid email address!”.In type form it seems I can kind of set this logic, but then the only action is a “goto”. I don’t want the user to go anywhere else, I just want an error message saying “Please provide a valid email address!” before they can move on, how do I do this?thank you

I submitted a support request but realized I should probably ask here too - What I’m trying to accomplish seems pretty basic, but I can’t figure out how to do it.In short, what I want is to avoid asking for information I already have, for example email.I’d like to have logic that works like this: “If email (the url paramter) is not empty...” (this part is actually very easy) “set the contact’s email address to that value” (this part I can’t figure out). Same with the person’s name. If I have their name, I also have their email (in other words, for people on my mailing list already where I have all that info collected).What I was able to do so far is: collect the URL parameters, branch based on the values of those, use the URL parameters OR the question responses for email or name in a question (via the @ recall). The farthest I can get is responses with email as a hidden field while the actual email address is left empty.
Hello Typeform community 👋Quick question: when using the image answer mode, is it possible to reduce the size of the answer images?I’ve only seen the option on the right to toggle “supersize” on/off, but nothing in between. How do I add multiple checkboxes so that my survey-taker can CHECK ALL THAT APPLY??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? This seems like it should be a really obvious and ‘easy’ thing, so I’m not sure why it’s not?? There is work to be done here Typeform, sorry. This is my first time using this platform and I’m already so confused I am thinking of bailing back to SurveyMonkey. Is it even an option, and if not….WHYYYYY?????

👋 Question for the Typeform community: If you use AI translation and then make some manual edits, what happens if you run the AI translation again after adding a new page? 👉 Does it overwrite your previous edits or only translate the new content? How do you handle this on your side to avoid losing your changes? 👀
