Typeform conversations

Hello,  I am building a form for home sellers to fill out if they are looking to sell their home.  I have some question answers that need to be added up and then multiplied by another figure.  Please see below Question:Is that the *absolute best* you could do on the *price*? Please enter your *absolute BEST price* you could give us:  Answer will be a $.  E.g. $100,000 Question:How much do you think it would *cost in repairs* to put the house *in tip top shape 100% retail ready?*Answer will be a $. E.g. $20,000 Question:What price do you think *we could re-sell the house for* if we put it in tip top shape after we buy it from you?Answer will be a $. E.g. $300,000 The calculation I need done is  IF $20,000 + $100,000 < $300,000 X .65 it takes them to QUESTION*Good news! Looks like we can make an offer on your house.* *Let me ask you... if we could pay in the range of your asking price ALL CASH and AS-IS, are you ready to start the paperwork to get your house sold?* IF $20,000 + $100,0

Hi, I am following the instructions in the API reference, but Postman says 404 not found. What am I doing wrong?

We would like to register an address by presenting the user with the different address fields on the same page. It is not natural for the address to separate the different fields, especially the postcode and the city. By the way, the address registration page proposed by Typeform groups the address fields on the same page, but it is impossible to modify it: the State/Region/Province field is not relevant in France, and the examples given (placeholder) are not adapted (Palo Alto city, etc.).How to do it? Not being able to present a form for registering the address correctly is really a problem.

Hi. How do I share a link to test the survey before publishing it? The link should show the survey, the person testing the survey should not have to sign in first. Please advise??best,R

Is it possible to send a test survey (i.e. for colleagues to check and comment on before it it published)?

Hi,I used to be able to highlight and copy all of the multiple choice answers from one question on one survey to another question on a different survey by highlighting the list underneath the question. However, the answers no longer appear underneath the questions on the left hand side. I cannot copy the list from the question preview. I hoping I am just missing something obvious because we copy and past multiple choice answers between surveys a lot. Please let me know how to do this.Thanks!

Hello the community and the Dev team,I’m quite puzzled to see that the Ranking Question can give, in the summary the detailed results, but not in the response extract - where only the first choice is recorded.Any advise or news to track the full data set from this type of questions… without creating a too complex form (multiply the questions...)Thanx

Hey there, i culdn’t find any cases regarding this so far – just with other integrations AND the other way round.I am missing the typeform fields when trying to map it with Zendesk Sell.All Zendesk fields are there but in my typeform survey only two appear – the ones that are there from the very beginning when setting up a new survey.Sry if there is an easy fix I just can’t see.All fields are required and only those which are stated to work with this integration :/THANKS!

We would like to track some basic info about all the visitors to our physical office space. I’d like to make that process easier for people who are repeat visitors, so they don’t have to answer the same demographic questions every time. Is there a way that Typeform can remember them or their responses? 

Hello community and development team I have a problem with some new fields that I am adding to a survey that was already running, when I add a final screen and connect it with other questions and apply new logical jumps they are not working correctly, do you know what I should do?

Hi, I’m trying to make a survey which scores something.And with the score, i want to show different text variable. For example,if @variable1 = 4, then ‘replace’ @variable2 = hiif @variable1 = 0, then ‘replace’ @variable2 = hey and i want to show current status of variable2 ‘hi’ or ‘hey’ in the middle of survey.I’ve tried to apply logic like above i showed, it only gives ‘default’ value of @variable2, and it doesn’t ‘replace’ the text value. Please help 

Hey we have multiple typeforms embeded in our website and after we updated all of them tot he latest typeform code embeding code in 6th of Decemeber. The problem is that Google analytics stopped recording our conversions after 22 of December. We tried the following things to fix the problem:  We have a script in the page which copies the utm params and stores them in a cookie and every time we render the typeform we send the utm params to typeform as hidden fields.Our ending screens are always redirect screens to a page in our website. We managed to fix the typeform conversions in google analytics by adding in the redirect screen the utm params from the hidden fields but this just fixes the Google analytics problem if we import our data in Google Ads then google ads doesn’t see any conversion, and we are wandering what we should do to fix it ? Should we forward also the gclid from the url to typeform and then put it as a query parameter in the redirect screen ? One thing to mention is

How do I link the SUBMIT button to both save the entered contact data and also redirect to a URL that will allow the user to download a file?

I’m wondering if there is a way that once a respondent has completed a form, for them to get an automatic copy of it for their records. We currently have set up for them to receive an automatic notification that the form has been received, but would be great if they could see a copy of their answers as well

I’m looking for a platform that will allow me to customise an email off the back of every form submission. I know Typeform can do it with their ‘Notification’ solution, but I need to add a small jpg banner to the top of the mail. I’ve tried Zapier to Gmail but many companies block images that are downloaded off of the interwebs. I’ve tried MailChimp, however MailChimp only seems to recognise new additions to the list, so a second response from someone is ignored. My list is long and frustrating that I am unable to describe to Google (I haven’t tried Chat GPT).  I am hoping there’s a human out there who has been through my pain and will share some of their hard earned experience and wisdom Thanks

I have a customer service survey set up with 8 1-5 scoreable ranking questions, similar to an NPS style survey. In my generated report I am given an average score per question which is great, but is there any way to average all of the averages together and get a grand total score? Ex: If the results to my 8 questions are:4.0 4.1 3.3 3.3 4.1 4.0 3.8 4.0My total is 30.6, I can divide by 8 and get 3.825 = 3.8 as my all in average. Is there anyway to display the 3.8 as part of the summary report?  

Hi! I’m new to TypeForm and I so far love the product but I have a crucial issue which might become a deal breaker for me.When I make a numerical question, I can’t type alphabets and symbols but somehow the field accepts Japanese text input (basically all 2 byte characters like “あ”, “Ａ” or “１”) and does not show any error.Is this a known bug, or is there any way to make this not happen? If it is a bug, it would be quite critical to anyone using Japanese, Korean, Chinese and all other languages using 2 or 3 byte characters. Thank you,Yuki

Per this article (link), two Typeforms can be connected by a VideoAsk. In our particular use case, we want to connect multiple VideoAsks (with no more than 1-2 videos each) to a Typeform. Rather than having Typeform A → VideoAsk 1 →Typeform B → VideoAsk 2 → Typeform C, et cetera, is it possible to have respondents go back to where they left off in Typeform A, as in:  Typeform A, Question #4 → VideoAsk 1 (Q5) →Typeform A (Q6) → VideoAsk 2 (Q7) → Typeform A (Q8)?This will help us keep all responses in to one Typeform, rather than distributed across multiple Typeforms. 

Is there an option to dynamically modify a hidden field via Javascript, after the form has been loaded, and without reloading the form?My use case:I have a Typeform that needs to validate a field using a third-party API. The user fills the field and keep going, and a few questions later, Typeform selects the correct branch based on the result obtained by the API while the user was filling the rest of the form.I have a TypeForm Business Plan, so using Google Tag Manager to load a small JS script, I was able to get the answer to the question, send it to the API to make the check and get the result.
