How do I make the variable name invisible to the person taking the quiz?
Typeform recently launched it’s new Match Quiz mode, and I thought, what better way to try it out then to create a fun personality quiz? Since I think about dogs roughly 99% of the day, I found the perfect way to honor my obsession by creating this “What type of dog are you?” personality quiz. Feel free to test it out and drop a comment on your results. Do you agree with them? And, if you want to see step-by-step how I made this quiz (and make your own), then check out the video walkthrough at the link below the form! https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/34111232643220-Create-a-personality-quiz-with-Typeform-Video
Does anybody know if / how the address fields can be changed from those currently shown? Screenshot attached. I want to use UK address fields if poossible. Thanks 😀
It seems that I can simply drag-and-drop questions in multi-question pages out of the multi-question page, but how can I move questions into it?
I’m new to this community. I look forward to participating. For my scoring, I need more than multiple variables. I need to be able to take the results of an earlier answer and multiply it by the results of later answer to get to my final calculation. Then that number feeds into another calculation. Does anyone know if this is possible?
I want to create an assessment score that requires one answer to be multiplied by another answer. Is that possible? Does anyone know how?
Something weird is going on. In my first group question, I have set scoring to be 0, 1, 2, 2, 3 and there are five questions. When I test it out picking the last score, the total should come to 21, but it comes to 35. If seems like the scoring is being ignored and the system has give the last opinion a score of “5.” Is this because I started with a “0” value? How do I fix it? Sincerely,Marie
Is it possible to replace the value of a text variable with the response of a short answer?I tried to @recall in an Always Replace (x) but does not work. Ex. I am collecting name/email/phone and want them stored as variables (so that they are included in my webhook).
I am creating an order form for my client. She bakes macarons. There are multiple options they can chose. It’s best to give an example. Macarons - Specialty Macarons - Tower - cake ---- They chose specialty macarons - now there are 14 different options so my customer chooses chicks and rabbits. Now I need to know how many of each they want. The choice is dropdown with several options. They chose 12 chicks and 6 rabbits. Now they need to chose the flavours. There are several flavours so with the chicks they chose 6 vanilla and 6 lemon, then for the rabbits they chose 6 raspberry. As you can see there are multiple outcomes. How do I build this order form?
I have created a form and a colleague has asked me to download/export the questions so they can review. Is this possible? I don’t want to have to cut and paste all the text...HELP!!!
Hi everyone!I’m trying to build a survey with a final score, which varies depending on the answer the user gives to each question (e.g. for each question, “yes” gives 10 points, “partially” gives 5 points, “no” gives -5 points, etc).I’d like there to be a “non applicable” option in each question, which allows for the user to skip the scoring of that q: the idea is thta it shouldn’t be counted altogether in the final score. I saw a similar query on this Community from a couple of years ago, where the answers said it was impossible to do. I was wondering if this function was implemented at some point recently, or if there’s a way to work around it.Thank you!
I am collating an onboarding form where the user will list the different types of insurance they want me to help them setup.I have created a question: “Which types of insurance do you want to buy?” - and there are 5 choices, any number of which can be selected.Let’s say the user selects A and B. They can follow a branch with questions about A, but I don’t see how to then start back at asking questions about B?
Coming from Jotform for a cleaner UX but have wasted ~ 15 hours chasing pieces of information to build a simple, picture guessing 7-question quiz with end screen displaying a given participant's & overall scoreboard, preferably in a table output format with first names & scores. Plus, may be allow for 3 or 5 repeat submissions. Simple post quiz submission emails, incl. daily rankings summary, to participants & admin. Q1. Is there a comprehensive, preferably A-Z & video, tutorial? All videos, incl Youtube, are more like an overview. Q2. How to connect with freelancers local to Typeform community? Q3. What other platforms you recommend to freelance out this & similar projects? -jd
Hi All, I’ve created a typeform that asks users to input project budgets in order to generate a quote based on that input as well as a series of questions. The issue is that these budget inputs and the generated quotes may have a significant number of digits in them. Looking at these numbers without commas can be very confusing (especially if there are a series of 0’s).Is there a way for a number question input to have a currency symbol, as well as automatically add commas every three digits? Same thing for a calculated variable (though I know I can manually add a $ sign before the variable in the question). If this is unclear, you can check out the typeform here: Thanks!
I’m probably WAAAYYYY overthinking this, but here’s what I’m trying to solve for:I have a quiz (assessment) where I’d like to display two scores (“Zap” and “Zest”) on the final page for five different question groups (sections). I do not want an outcome quiz that has different endings; I want all scores on the ending page alongside a video explanation. Each question group has 10 questions and 100 points possible per section, with the following answer selections and score system:Almost Never = 2 pointsRarely = 4 pointsSometimes = 6 pointsOften = 8 pointsAlmost Always = 10 pointsSince the assessment takes a problem-focused lens for creating a ratio-based answer, the way the Zap scores are totaled is to subtract the Zap score from 100, making the Zest score the remaining amount.Example: If Prioritization Zap = 65, then Prioritization Zest = 35I’ve created Zap and Zest variables for each of the 5 sections, but not sure if I need to set up branching for every question, or if there’s a simple
I would like to add a “Job Title” field to the “Contact” content template. Is it possible to edit the content templates and add fields in this way?
I want to determine whether variable a is greater than variable b by a set margin (a number that I can change). Both of these variables are scores derived from a series of answers. For example, “is variable a > (variable b + 300)”.I can’t see a way to compare variables. Grateful for any advice.

Hi Team,I’m Dario Schiraldi, looking into ways to ensure that our travel website always reflects real-time availability for services like flights, hotels, and car rentals. This is critical to avoid issues like overbooking or displaying outdated information to users. Some approaches I’m considering include using webhooks , setting up polling at smart intervals, or integrating a real-time data layer. But I’d really value your input.Have any of you dealt with this before? What methods, tools, or best practices would you recommend for keeping availability data accurate and up-to-date, while also maintaining good performance?Appreciate your thoughts and any lessons learned from similar projects! RegardsDario Schiraldi
"The default value in the 'Name' field is currently set to '지수(Jisoo)', but I want to change it to '홍길동(Hong Gil-dong)'. How can I do that?"
Hello,I need to build a form that has 7 group questions that are all Likert scores. Each group is given a score with the end screen providing a total for each group topic. There is no range, simply a score. How do I do this? Please provide step-by-step directions. Thank you. Sincerely,Marie
