I recently created a typeform account to build out a “recommendation quiz” for a website I am building around the topic of travel. The typeform I want to create is meant to recommend specific cities from multiple countries based on how respondents rank certain critera.My initial idea wasn’t particularly complex (its just a lot of simple addition and comparing values), but did have a lot of potential outcomes (5.9160003 E+8). Even when I reduced the scope to limit the number of possible results (150), I strugled to see how I could pull someting together without spending at least a week or more on the project. I’ve read a lot of the forum posts here (including the very helpful ones by @john.desborough), and it seems like this is a common problem. Is there a single approach that would be helpful to users like me who want to create typeforms with a lot of results?If not, I wonder if the best long term solution would be to allow users to create the logic they need with Python (or some other

Hello everyone,I am an intensive user of the follow-ups, which I use to share form responses to various people based on the answers. However, as of recently I have started noticing a pattern where my bulleted lists would feature “\” in front of everything when I save them. Yesterday this has also appeared in an e-mail object.Basically, I type this: First name:  @AnswerFirstName Last name: @AnswerLastName And after hitting “Save”, I see this: \- First name:  @AnswerFirstName`\- Last name: @AnswerLastName It actually gets worse over time, as if I edit something in the follow-up I then have more backslashes stacking up, ending in “\\\\\\- Last name: @AnswerLastName”It looks really messy. I have thought of a markdown mistake, but couldn’t solve it so far. Is there anything I am missing ?Thank you !

Hi! I’m trying to figure out how to set up logic jump when multiple answers are selected in a multiple choice question. I’ve set it up so “If Web Design, then Web Design questions,” “If SEO, then SEO questions,” etc.. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to set it up this way also: “If Web Design and SEO, then Web Design questions, followed by SEO questions” (for all of the possible combinations of services.Any advice? Hi,Quiz: I have a question with 6 different options, multiple selections are possible. If somebody choses e.g. option a + d, can I have a combined answer that gives a specific feedback to a and also one to d. This would be like assembling text modules for all the chosen options in one answer. I don’t want to create an answer for each combination of options (e.g. a + c + d or c+f, ...), this would be too complicated.Thanks for your help.Cheers,Cesare

I want to keep track of how many times the respondent has answered "yes" to a yes/no question. So, I created a loop that increments the score every time the respondent presses "yes".However, the score data resets to zero when the respondent returns to the original point.Code:S1: What is the shape of this picture?A: a square B: a circle C: a triangleThe correct answer would be C, leading to S4.If the respondent chooses A or B, it leads to S2.In S2, the respondent can choose whether they want help or to try again.yes: I want help no: back to S1Code in S2:If: incorrect, need a hint? is Yes Add 1 to @score If: incorrect, need a hint is Yes go to S3If: incorrect, need a hint is No go to S1 Now, coming back from the loop where we added +1 to the score to the original S1, @score is nullified. I need help comparing 2 different questions like comparing question 1 to question 2 or like does trumpet = trumpet(yes) or does trumpet = flute(no) 

I would like to take any choices not selected from a multiple-choice question and display them in a subsequent question. I can use logic to update the values of custom variables, but I don't know how to display a variable value as a question choice in a subsequent question. Is it possible to do this with Typeform. I can’t seem to figure out how.

Hi I create a form with quizz logic   Basically  I have 2 groups of question where you can either answer a scale 1-5 or yes/no :-Health questions ( question 2 to 11) that help me estimate if the person has a high disysregulation or a low disregulation of her nervous system-Attachment questions ( the rest) that help me estimate the attachement model of the personI create 7 logic results ( 3 insecure attachment models * 2 levels of dysregulation = 6+ 1 secure attachment) based on the possibles answers.But i keep having wrong results. Most of the people get having a ending with high level of dysregulation even if they are not ( to have the ending high level dysregulation you have to answer 4-5 and yes in the questions 2-11). Does somebody have a idea how can i correct that? 

I am trying to make an online personality test, similar to the DISC test where there are groups of questions and in every set of 4 questions you would choose a 1, 2, 3, or 4 based on MOST LIKE ME, LEAST LIKE ME, MORE LIKE ME, LESS LIKE ME. and then the self grading element would add up the appropriate data and give a scored outcome at the end. Whenever I try and sort this out in a quiz, I can only add in FILL IN BOXES or Checkboxes or Multi Choice. I don’t know how to find the option for a more intricate quiz and grading format. I appreciate any help. Hello,we will use typeform as a configurator for a product set. The customer will choose from around 100 different products and I want to show the price of the set live, during the choosing process. We will NOT use the payment module. The customer will get a manual quote from us after he completed the form.I am aware how price calculation works. BUT I do not want to add 100 different conditions for each product. As  Instead I would like to use the score functionality and simply give a score to each answer (each product) Problem with the score is, that it only accepts full number (1,9€ is not possible only 1 or 2)My idea was to use the score and use 19 for 1,9€ and simply divide the core by 10, when we want to show the price. Problem is, that I can only recall the “score” and NOT “score divided by 10”. Also I can at a certain point do a calculation, where score is added to another variable and this variable is divided by 10. But I cannot get a live price during the choosing process. Is

In what seems to be a very common occurrence on SaaS platforms these days, it seems easier to find answers, instructions, and tutorials on the most sophisticated and complex issues than it is to find out how to configure the very simplest of things. So, I both apologize and offer thanks in advance for any help on this exceedingly rudimentary issue….All I want to do is show my users how many quiz answers they got right. That’s it.Based on what I’ve located so far, I can add scoring, show totals, show percentages, deliver different content based on answers, re-display their answers – all kinds of elaborate things except…Just tell them how many they got right.Thanks again for any help on this.

I have had a form running for years with the self-notification emails coming through just fine. I recently added a new question to the form and published. Now the self-notification emails are coming through twice for every completed form. I’ve checked in the ‘new’ Folllow-ups actions and there is only one Follow up set with one action to “Notify myself / team via email”Any solutions to this?

Is it possible to style the Group Question color, alignment, or size?I am not sure I understand the placement of the header text. Is it center aligned? I find it a bit awkward and would like to change it.  

I was looking for an option to edit the price in a payment question. I know this is possible if you link a previous question with a number response, but is it in case the previous question is a multiple choice type? For example, I want to give a different price for my workshop depending if the person belong to our Family Club or not -it will be cheaper for partners. How could I make it? Thanks so much!

I’m trying to just have a series of IMP/SAT questions and have a calculation to subtract the two. I can’t figure out how to do this.  I have a series of questions like this, imagine ‘X’ is the attribute so there are two questions for each attribute.  How important is X - rate from 1 to 10How satisfied are you with X - rate from 1 to 10 At the end, I want to show the scores calculated for Q1 (minus) Q2 and show each attribute rating (in this example ‘X’ for the set of IMP/SAT answers.  Anyone know how to do that?

We have a configurator site that allows users to create their own designs in 4 steps. Once they have arrived at step 4 (end of the design process), our site will auto generate a unique URL that the user can save to come back and modify their design at a later time.We want to use a Typeform (not embedded) in step 4 to allow users to contact us and we would like the unique URL to be sent to the Typeform as a hidden field. Is this possible- within Typeform or with an integration?

Does somebody know how is the default setting when ending results in quizz logic are equal  ( person answer to all the answers and is qualified for 2 different endings)?Is there a way to define it ouselves?

Hello,I am trying to create a form which will call endpoint to get the options to list for the form as well as based on the selection, it will call endpoint to get the count of available records for that selection.I see using webhook -but that is only submitted at the end of form ? What if we would like to have multiple endpoint call after each step ? I do not see the webhook configuration to set when the webhook will initiate in my account.Also, how can i then use the webhook response to hidden fields I do not see any good way of connecting them either.Please advice. I would like there to be background music as users complete our Typeforms, is this currently possible or is it scheduled to be developed?We use Typeform for education and an audio element has been requested. For example, it would be great to hear sounds of the ocean while learning about the ocean. Thank you

Hi, I am new in here doing a quiz for a huge company party. I built the quiz, but some of my statements migways in the quiz, comes with a submit button instead of continue, when I do the preview. (In create it says ‘continue’ as it should.) I have made sure that the statement is connected to the next question directly after, but it still does the submit button og skips to the end. I really hope some of you can help, since I need to have this quiz ready soon. Thanks! 

Hello,I have 2 questions in my TypeForm consecutively. Both are Number type question's. So in the second question's number’s minimum range I want to add a constraints so that respondents has to type in a number that is greater than what they typed in the previous question.For Example in Question a. respondent’s typed 300 then in Question b. the number range would be 301-99999. Thanks.

We need to be able to generate a random number or id code.  This will be used for our paid survey takers to mark their survey as completed in another site we use to get our survey takers.  Being we pay our survey takers for their time, we need to ensure we can match their surveys to ensure they did indeed complete it.  Sadly, you do have bad-actors out there that abuse the system, as such we need this for 100% accountable and confirmation of completion.   

I am new to Typeform. The org has a current form I want to duplicate and then edit versus starting from scratch. How can I save that form under a new name and then edit with new questions?
