Build your typeform

Hi there.I am a long time typeform user but I cannot figure out how to create a form where a person can write a few paragraphs. Say 300-600 words to answer a single question and SEE the entire answer before going on to the next question.I do not see where to limit characters. I do not see how to choose that the respondent can see their response.I used long text question from the dropdown, but when testing, I can only see the first few words of my tested response.Please advise thank you.

I’m looking to gather addresses from a local village. I really don’t want State or Country fields but the usual  “eye” toggle to hide fields is missing.

the questions type is date, that will answer by client, if the date answered is before 24/ 7/ 2026, it will prompt a yes no questions, but when the client answer 2 / 2 /2026, the logic has skip the prompt (which is not what i intended), but if the client answer 2 / 02 / 2026, the prompt will appear. i believe is the system corrupted. please check.

We use matrix type question a lot in our surveys. Is there an ETA on when it will have full functionality in TypeForm? Specifically we are after the currently missing ability to work with the matrix in the survey logic (advanced only for starters if need be is fine) as we often need to assign variables and split the survey further based on responses in the matrix questions. Advanced piping would also be great, but not necessary.

Hello,I am new to typeform and have just started creating quizzes for user development and education. I have run into an issue assigning logic to matrix questions. Am I able to assign a correct answer for a matrix question similar to how i can create a rule for a multiple choice? Example: The user selects the correct “column” that corresponds with the appropriate “row.” I would then send the user to the next statement slide informing them “incorrect” or “correct.”Thank you

I have two typeforms and I would like to copy some questions from one to the other. Just copying the questions I need would be the easiest, but if I could merge the two and delete the ones I don’t want, that would be OK too, 

Hi, I’m trying to do something that seems like exactly what Variables + Recall are built for, but can’t seem to figure out how to do it.We want to have users tell us (a) how many miles they drive each year (b) their car mileage and (c) the price of gas where they live.  After they input A, B and C, we want to feed back a Statement that says “We think you’ll pay (D) for gas.I’ve created @milesdriven @mileage @gasprice @gallonsperyear @gasperyear that are conceptually linked as follows:.@milesdriven (A) / @mileage (B) = @gallonsperyear (C) * @gasprice (D) = @gasperyear (E)A, B, and D are customer input.  I’ve set up logic for A, B and D so that when someone answers how many miles they drive = 10,000, that is added to @milesdriven, etc.  So they answer these questions and the A, B, D variables should then retain their answers.I’ve then set up logic in one of the questions saying [Always] [divide] [@milesdriven] / [@mileage]), which should equal @gallonsperyear - but there is no way that I

Hi everyone,I’m on a Typeform Business plan and I regularly use the AI translation feature.After several uses, I sometimes get the following error message:“Translation file too big – We were unable to complete your AI translation due to a large file size. You'll need to reduce the size of your form and try again.”What’s confusing is that: the form content hasn’t changed, and the next day the translation often works again without any issue, with the exact same form. 👉 Is this expected behavior related to a temporary AI quota or usage limit (daily/monthly)?👉 Is this limit based on overall AI usage rather than the actual form size?👉 Is there any way to track or view AI usage on a Business account?Thanks in advance for your help 🙏

Hello Typeform Community,I’m currently setting up a form for an invitation to join our Beta Program, and I’m testing the email notification feature to send a confirmation email to responders who agree to become Beta Testers. The email will include a list of instructions and a URL to access the program.However, I encountered an issue when trying to pass a field value as part of the URL path. I learned that Typeform can only pass field values as URL parameters, but I need to include this value in the path/slug of the URL to make the URL dynamic.Is there a way to pass a field value as a URL path in the email notification, or is there any workaround that could help achieve this? I would like the URL to look something like this:https://example.com/[field-value]Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance for your help!Issue:

Hello thereI’ve built a fun quiz for my team for a Christmas Party and there is one sticking point.  Is there a way to go from a statement which tells the player their score to the Ending without losing the Button text? I’ve typed in various Christmassy phrases to match the performance of the player in three slides and the Preview only states ‘What’s my Score?’ for each one when I test it.  Is there a way around this?  I’ve tried to add an extra slide, to bridge the gap between the scoring and the Ending, and adjust the Branching but then that Button says ‘What’s my Score?’!I tried to amend the Branching through the AI Chat but it changed key parts of my quiz which I wasn’t happy with.It’s worth noting that I’m using the free part of Typeform and am not paying for the more complex services, as this is just a one-off use for fun.Any tips would be gratefully received! Sarah 

I’m experiencing an issue with my form responses.I initially collected responses during a small event while using the free version. At that time, I could only view the first 10 responses, although the dashboard indicated there were 34 responses in total.After upgrading my account, I’m still unable to access all responses. I’ve also tried filtering the results by “Response type: Partial” on the results page, but this did not resolve the issue.I’ve attached screenshots of the dashboard, the filter settings, and the responses page for reference.     

Does anyone find the back button on Typeform needs to change?It’s very confusing for the back buttons to be a up or down icon instead of forward and backwards arrow.Or is there an option to change the icons of the back button or the positions to the top left like apps?

Hi! i want to include a unique fiel by respondent in the URL that I redirect respondents to. How can I do that without having to ask for an email or something? Is there an ID you automatically generate that I can refer to in the redirect URL

why was the option to remove visibility of the address lines? 

I have the following layout and want to centre the three selectable options. However, when I preview they all sit to the left to accommodate a forth. Can this be removed?   In builder In preview link

I’m using a free version of Typeform for a one question poll.  At the end of the survey after you make your selection and click submit.  Typeform is asking to rate the survey on a 1-4 scale and asks why the submitter chose X number of choices.  How do I remove these post-survey questions?

Hello,I’m experiencing significant usability issues with my Typeform since the most recent update and would like to know whether others are facing the same problems.First, all images in my form have suddenly become much smaller and are now left-aligned. This makes the visual content far less prominent, and any text embedded in the images is almost unreadable. The layout no longer reflects the design we invested a lot of time in.Second, as soon as respondents start answering a question, the entire question block jumps up and down on the screen. This creates a very unstable and distracting experience.Has anyone else encountered these issues? And if so, have you found any workaround or heard anything from Typeform about a fix?Best regards
