Typeform conversations

Hey,I have a use-case that I was hoping to get some help with.We want to redirect the respondent of a form to a page. This page will display a summary/analysis of individual response. (Note that the initial form will be embedded in a form - this is not an issue if we can, for instance, send out unique links to the form in emails.)The issue is about how to identify the user’s response from the new page.Our current plan is as follows:Embed the form on a webpage, and add a JavaScript or some such that adds a dynamic ID to a hidden variable every time the page/form is loaded. Use the hidden variable as a part of the redirect URL. Use the hidden variable placed in the redirect URL to get the response from Typeform’s API.We’re comfortable with (2) and (3), but haven’t yet detailed out (1).Does anyone know of any other (better?) ways to solving this? The ideal, we think, would have been to have the option to add the response_id field to the redirect URL, but that’s not (yet?) an option.Regard

I am trying to build a “question per day” survey that stretches over a long period of time. To do this, I was hoping to block a survey respondent from moving onto the next question until either A) the next calendar day has arrived, or B) a certain amount of time has passed (e.g. 12 hours). Is this possible with Typeform?

I was not able to find anything addressing this specifically but I was trying to build a form to calculate the savings new clients have realized by working with my company.  These are the fields and for the sake of ease I will assign each a letter to demonstrate the calculation:(A) BAMS Volume(B) BAMS Fees(C) PreBAMS AMEX Volume(D) PreBAMS AMEX Fees(E) PreBAMS V/MC/D Volume(F) PreBAMS V/MC/D Fees The calculation I’m trying to do is:(((D + F) / (C + E)) - (B / A))*(C + E) = Calculation I’m looking for This can be broken down into pieces if easier / better supported by the Typeform capabilities. 

Hi!I put together a survey question with ~25 items/statements and a 7-point Likert-type agreement scaleI have 2 questions:Not all of my scale points appear on the top - they have to scroll sideways to see the last scale point (and they can do this only if they scroll all the way to the bottom first) - is there away to ensure all scale points are visible at the top? Is there a way to “move” the scale as they scroll down so they are constantly aware of the scale points rather than have to scroll back up or rely on their memory?Thank you!

As a newbie, pls what do I need to understand about Typeform?

Why do I keep getting this show? I’m the only one that ever edits my typeforms. When it appears I usually lose all the work I’ve done that session. What’s going on and more importantly how do I stop it happening? Thanks. 

1. I create a test with 60 questions, each of which is required2. I found a problem when testing:a) When I am browsing the question page, if I do not click on the fifth questionb) Then I use the mouse wheel to pull down the web page, jump directly to the 10th question, and even submit the test to the question3. Now what do I need to set to turn off this function, I need testers, click on this question to jump to the next question, if you don't click, you can't jump

I go to publish my survey, and get either a 500 error or “Hold tight—just getting this page ready” and it never loads anything. Anyone else is getting this?  The system status shows “All systems are operational.” But even the workspace isn’t loading now. “500. We feel a disturbance in the forms”  

Hello, is there a way to send users to a specific part of the form via URL? Eg. test1.com → starts user on question 1, test2.com → starts user on question 2, and so on.Thank you! 

Hi - this is my company’s first foray into Typeform. We started with a template, in our case, a “Demographic Survey” one. We’ve edited to our liking - but now, when I’m sharing it - the browser tab at the top says “Demographic Survey” instead of the title I’ve given our survey. Is there a way to edit what shows up in the browser tab?

I amusing typeform to build a skills maturity assessment. I am using the @score variable to calculate the overall maturity level, which is linked to one of three endings. However, the assessment also has 3 individual sections, and I want to calculate and display scores for each of the sections on each ending screen as well.I have built number variables for each section (@section1, @section2, etc. and assigned logic to add value to the variable based on each answer in the section. However, on the ending screen, I want to display a text value using Recall instead of the number value. So, for Section 1, instead of seeing a result of 3/7, they see a text value like “Junior”.Is there a way to assign text values to variables AND number values so you can count a score for the section variable? Is there a place to build logic like this (I’m thinking something like “If @variable is equal or less than seven, display Text ‘Junior’”. Anyone try something like this?

With phone number question types, the tendency is for people to just hit Enter to proceed. As a user, hitting Enter gives people a startling error as if they have done something wrong (which, technically they have because they did not hit Cmd + Enter). However, why is it wrong to just hit Enter? If there is no strong reason to require the Cmd key, can we please have that updated to just require Enter?

My type form has 16 questions but only 6 are showing up when I share the survey.  I cant see a seeting hiding the 10 last questions. 

When I open my last saved typeform, it has the publish button disabled so I cannot publish it.And As soon as I make some changes to the contents of typeform, the following notice is appearing:Someone’s made changes to this typeformSomeone—maybe you—has made changes to this typeform that aren’t shown here.Click Update my typeform to refresh with the latest changes and continue editing. You’ll lose any changes you made in this current session.  I pressed the Update your typeform button but changes are not saved and still cannot publish the typeform.  To workaround, I duplicate the typeform and I try to publish it but it does not work. it says “not saved” on the bottom of page even though I have not made any change and still cannot publish. 

Is it possible to encode a variable collected from a question before adding it to the redirect url?for example, if someone uses the following email address: test&test@mail.comthe redirect url should be “bruno%26test%40mail.com” thanks in advance

two questions… is there a way to connect more than one typeform to a single board? We have a board that we use for Internal requests, feedback, a nomination, etc, each with a distinct form.  But it looks like the powerUp only allows one form to be connected to the board?   Looks like Hidden fields don’t work in the powerUp?  The options of naming cards ONLY with the visible fields people complete is pretty limiting. Are there are options or ways to name cards differently? (eg: I’d like to name the cards something like “Employee Feedback” or something like that, not with just the information the user submits in the form)

I’ve created a survey with opinion questions. Each opinion question has 2 fields followed by the range of response (i.e. 1 - 5).I originally had the question (i.e. Is the Vision of your company documented?) in the 1st field followed by a definition in the 2nd (i.e. Vision is a high level desire for the company). The integration pulled the 1st field to Sheets. Because I’m using Document Studio to present a resulting .PDF, I wanted to have a simple column header/field name within Sheets (versus the long question as the header/field name).Thinking that the integration pulled the 1st field, I then changed each question to the following:The 1st field is a category (i.e. Vision). The 2nd field is the question (i.e. Is the Vision of your company documented?).When the results are sent to Sheets, it still sends the longer question (2nd field) rather than the 1st field. I’d prefer to have the 1st field as I’m using that field name for my variable/integration with document studio.Any explanation

Hi, I was charged today to renew typeform subscription  but I no longer use it. I thought I would get a reminder that my card would be charged today but I did not and now my account was charged more than 300 euros! I cannot pay this amount this month!! Please, I need to get a  refunded  ASAP as I need the money to pay my bills! 

Hi Guys. I just updated my typeform and connected to excel. However, when I try to extract the files uploaded by respondents i.e images from my excel, it says file cant be found. Why is this so? 

Hello, If someone else creates a survey in their account, can they share it to me to a completely external account so I can have editing rights?We paid someone to create a survey, but its in their account. We need to be able to get this survey to our account. Is this possible?
