Questions and discussions about building your typeform

New to typeform, I’m using it for wedding RSVPs and have a particular way I want it to flow. This RSVP will appear on the first page of my very much public wedding website, but I want the RSVP and event details to be exclusive to my guests. I don’t want non-guests to be able to make it past the first page. The logic I want is “If guest name = any guest name on list Then Q2 Else EndPage” I already thought about using a short text question and giving everyone a single “password” that then flows into the rest of the survey, but I think that’s too informal and a little confusing for my older guests. This is the only way I can imagine getting this to work - having an “or” statement tacked on for each individual person/family. Is there a better method that I’m not seeing? Â
I have a multiple choice question, which has “Multiple selection” selected and “Other” option selected. The question is “Which of the following best describes you within property?”The options are: Investor, Developer, Broker, “Other” (where the person can type in another option if they wish). What I would like is to have it so that a followup question is given for each selection made. The followup question will be “As a/an [selection], what geographical area/s do you cover? I would like this to be asked individually for each selection, as these might be different. I currently have 4 followup questions setupFollowup 1: “As an Investor, what geographical area/s do you cover?”Followup 2: “As a Developer, what geographical area/s do you cover?”Followup 3: “As a Broker, what geographical area/s do you cover?”Followup 4: “As a/an @Which of the following best describes you within property?, what geographical area/s do you cover?”***for this example, the Other selection made is “Landlord”***The p
Using a picture choice element is not responsive on mobile. See example attached.Â
Hi, I have created a form with 10 questions and published right after I purchased my Plus plan, however it only published until my 4th question. I have attached a screenshot of how my content should look like after publishing. Looking forward to your urgent advise on the matter.Â
Hey everyone! I use canva for my content and infographs. I’ve noticed my templates I make end up getting cut off on the type form. I was curious what are the dimensions to make it but it won't cut off half the picture. I've been looking and I cannot find it at all. Thanks in advance. :) Pb
How do I get rid of this second, blank file upload image? As you can see, the video is embedded above. But this empty spot remains, even in the real quiz.Â
Hi guys  I want to add a free text option to my yes/no answers - is this possible?? Example question: Do you think that companies with a strong ESG value proposition would be better placed to withstand market risks and capitalise on opportunities?YES/NO with Free Text Option Â
I’ve gotten some feedback on a survey that a few of the multi-select questions are sometimes forcing respondents to just choose one option. Any idea where this bug is coming from and how I might fix it?
como se puede finalizar un formulario sin pasar por un final con botón submmit? -- Google Translation --  How can you end a form without going through a final with submmit button?
Is there any way to turn off this automatic estimated time to complete on the front of a survey?Ours is used for work and in most cases people dawdle and complete between meetings, and so the average isn’t a true reflection at all - and it’s putting newbies off! :(
I’ve created a journal on Typeform. On one page I have 100 journal prompts that they can choose from. The next page they can write their journal entry. How can I get the prompt they’ve chosen to show up in the next page so they don’t have to rewrite it?
As you probably know, you can change the “Send Typeform text” in the Messages pane.I was just wondering whether anyone has tried changing the text to be something less obvious – like “OK” to match the normal button text to go to the next answer? On one hand, this would hide the fact that you are about to submit the form (potentially increasing the submission / conversion rate). But equally, this may go against best practice with forms to provide that sign post (i.e. the way Typeform was originally designed). What do you think?Have you tried this before? Or do you feel we have a moral obligation to be transparent with users?
I’m looking forward to using typeform to generate leads, but I’m surprised by how small the images are for picture choice questions. The supersize feature doesn’t make them much bigger. Will typeform implement larger image features for picture choice questions?
Is there an auto-advance option so that users can bypass the “Next” button?Â
Hi, I'd like to create a 10 question quiz with 6 answers each, scored 0 - 5. The ending should be based on the lowest score someone got on any question. So if a respondent answers 9 times the last answer - scoring 9 times 5 - and one time the first answer - scoring 1 times zero - the ending should be based on the zero. How would I have to build my logic? Thanks very much for your time,Hans
I have a form that had 177 questions, I deleted 129, and left only 48.Now, when I see my forms in the workspace, it always shows me the number of questions is equal to 177.This doesn't worry me that the form info is incorrect. But the real problem is that when I link the form to a Google Sheets, it displays all 177, (that is to say even the ones that have been deleted)How can I stop seeing these deleted questions? Knowing that the connection of the form to google sheets was created only after deleting the questions not desired? Is there any way to do this without having to recreate the form from scratch and do all the work a second time? Thanks
How do I add the last questions answer to the new question. For example, someone left a 4 out of 10 on the opinion scale, I’d like for the next question to say why did you leave a 4. I’d like for the logic to link to every number so if they leave a 7 it will have 7 on the next question and the same for all of the other numbers. Thanks in advance.
I have a endings page set up to show directly after the user hits submit after the last survey question. Unfortunately the endings page does not show up once the user hits submit, the typeform instead closes altogether. The typeform is set up as a pop-up on my website. The “redirect on completion” option is toggled OFF as well. Any help would be much appreciated!!
Good day. I am interested in making use of your platform. I've worked on it for 2 days and really like the platform. However, do you have MaxDiff and rankings available for survey’s? or are they only available on subscription packages? Also, - do you offer analysis on your surveys?

How do i add my company logo to a template? Is this possible?
I have had redirect on completion working for months where they redirect to a new form so that I can save entries at periodic points. They would redirect in the same window but now trying to open a new tab for the next form. This behaviour has just recently changed, how do I fix it?
Hello community,I really like TypeForm as it allows me to be interactive with my audience. I have built a dialogue to catch more newsleter subscritions, but I am facing a problem. To catch more attention, I have to trigger the side tab after let’s say 5 seconds. As My users can land on any page, I paste the code in the <body> all over the site.If the user submits the form, then the form disappear, because I checked the “close embed on completion”.However if the user simply closes the form, then when he visits another page, the form pops up again after 5 seconds. This can be really anoying for the user.So my question is : is there any solution to force the form to stay down if the user have cliked the “close” button ?Thanks in advanced.
