Bit worried I have been put on a professional plan under github student, not sure how it fully compares to current new plans or if I will be randomly switched if they do away with professional plan all together. Can anyone please elaborate on the professional plan, just confused why I have been put on a plan that does not officially exist? Is it even any better than the basic plan they offer?
Hi Folks Can anyone help with this question about using variables/answers later on in the quiz? CheersDan
Hello, I would like to show a calculation of a number that the user has put in on one of my screens. It did it like so: After that screen, they would see their value (like a price) and if they are unsatisfied with that, I would like for them to have an option to change the previous answer and have it calculated again. This is what I did:When I tested this, the calculation worked for the first time but when the option to change their initial value is chosen, the resulting value is 0. Can anyone help with this?
Hi all,I’m trying to run a logic on multiple choices, that depending on the multiple choice answer it goes to a different follow up question.Pretty standard set up:choice: accountant → to to accountant slide choice: student → go to student slide etc.I’m on a basic price account, but the ‘branching & calculations’ option within the advanced menu doesn't appear for me to do this. And I can’t do it within the simple branching menu.Is this not offered as part of basic, or do I need to activate this somewhere/somehow? Many thanks in advance,Sonya
I find the feature in the long form option “Shift ⇧ + Enter ↵ to make a line break” very confusing when I tested my first survey. How do you get rid of it?
Hi everyone, My question might cover ove as silly. But I really cannot find how to solve this. I copied an exisiting typeform and changed the name. I see however still the old name of the form in the new form. How can I change it? Many thanks in advance, Irina
Hi All, I have a simple four question survey, but the result relies on multi-step calculations at the end, before providing two results. I’ve made custom variables for each factor, but at times two variables equal a third needed in a later calculation step, which is the bit I can’t seem to make possible. Here’s the current math:Q3 x Q4 = CustVariable2Q3 - CustVariable2 = CustVariable3CustomVariable3 / Q2 = CustVariable4Q3 / CustVariable4 = CustVariable5Result 1 = CustVariable5 - Q2Result 2 = CustVariable5 x Q1Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Is there any way to validate length of short answer input?I have a form to get birth date in 6 digits like yymmdd and need to check if user has typed 6 digits correctly.
Here’s a simple use case:There are 3 questions, and all questions are weighted with 1 point each (which I add to the “score” variable). For question 1 and 2, I just add 1 to score if the user answers correctly. No further logic. At question 3, I want to keep a checkpoint on Score. In the third question, if customer answers correctly, I first add 1 to score, and then implement following logic:a) If the score is less than 2, end the quiz.b) If the score is greater or equal to 2, reset the score to 0 and proceed to next question. This logic fails when answer to question 3 is the deciding factor. Supposing a customer answers question 1 correctly and question 2 incorrectly, in that case answering question 3 correctly should take the customer to next question (because score > 2 including that question) and answering it incorrectly should end the quiz (because score is < 2).Practically, Typeform ends my quiz in both the cases. If I answer 3 correctly, it does not take the updated score int
HiI am building an application form and have already collected the clients names. I now want to ask if they have a current mortgage and whether it’s in the name of Client 1, client 2, or both. But I was hoping to use the @ recall facility to pull across their names in place of Client 1 or Client 2, but cannot see how I do this.Any ideas?
I haven’t got the highest paid membership which allows automatic pop-up launch of a form. Does anyone have a work around for this, such as a custom script? Thank you
HI all, I make multiple feedback forms for our circus based Outreach projects. I am often analysing similar outcomes, but not exactly the same. I know I can duplicate a typeform and edit it - but I would rather create a library of questions and drag and drop them to create each project specific survey. I don't think I can? Anyone have any ideas?
I would like to know why Typeform automatically adds an asterix next to some questions?* And why they cannot be removed?
Hello, I am trying to change the layout of individual questions but when I change, for example, the background. It affects the whole form. I noticed that this is possible in the new builder but for some reason I have the old one even though I just signed up for it. Any thoughts? I have my form built already, now I need to work on the design but I find it quite limited.
Hi y’all. I made a application form. I stayed inside the free limit on BBC the number of questions. I pushed publish—looks fine! But it won’t record any responses. Any ideas?
Anybody knows how to convert classic editor forms into the new editor? Or is the only option to rebuild them? And if I rebuild them can I take my old responses with me to the new form?
I am creating a survey in three languages. I would love to hire a professional Typeform specialist to help me. It is a two-pronged survey: consumers vs. producers. There are approximately 20 questions for each audience. Thank you, Jennifer
How do I limit the number of people that can sign up to an event?
I started creating my research survey in Google Forms but now I want to migrate it to Typeform however I’ve found Typeform to be very restrictive in dealing with long intro text (min is currently 410 words in Google Forms). I need to explain the survey to people and tell them what it’s for, how their responses are being used and communicate the value of them taking part. I can’t create a seperate landing page to communicate all of this, I just want everything self-contained in Typeform. How would you do this? And do you have any links to any examples? Typeform also doesn’t seem to render numbered bullets in the preview either.
I’m using a score quiz to determine which holiday would be suitable for a prospective customer based on their interests (we’re a travel company). The form’s ending displays the recommended holiday and then uses a button to redirect to a new form for contact details etc. I’m just wondering why the Ending pages are soooo basic. You can only have a little bit of text and an image, nothing else. It’d be very useful if there was more control over the design of ending page, such as a range of images or like a drag and drop designer (like you get with basic html design). I hope this will made in an upcoming update.
I’m trying to make a questionnaire sort of thing, and I need to collect 100 answers. But I would like to set up a quota for one of the questions we have. So for example it’s like “which colour do you prefer?” then I need 50 people to pick ‘A. red’ and 50 people to pick ‘B. green’. Once we have 50 people answered ‘A. red’ the quota is fulfilled and any more people answering this would go to a ending page instead of going through into the next question. Same for ‘B. green’, once I have 50 people, I don’t need more green-prefer people to continue to the next question. Anyone know how to do this in Typeform? Cheers,Q
I have a multiple choice question where it has three options. X, Y and Z. I want to construct a logic such that when the respondent selects X he is only shown the questions from X in the question group.
but no access. what can I do?
Is there a way to have two different ‘then’ actions in a logic step? For instance if a certain question matches a condition, I would like to set a variable flag and ALSO jump to a different question than responses that don’t match the condition. Currently I have to add my condition twice.. Once to replace the variable value, and again to jump to a different question. This seems really clunky and redundant.
Hi, can anyone help us t force users to answer questions before being able to move on. We know we can make a question ‘Required’, however this doesn’t stop the user skipping the question and only flags the issue when submitting. We are trying to build a flow where we force the user to answer each question when they are scheduled in the flow. Any help appreciated.
