I am looking into building an asych job interview that would include a quiz to prove a candidate’s knowledge on culinary. Is there a way to collect answers that would show how long someone waited to start recording their answer (as way to know if they just looked up the answer). Also is there a way to eliminate the option to resubmit their answer? We want to ensure that we are getting the most real information possible.

Hi, I am about to start a project and wanted to confirm my understanding. Is anyone able to confirm if I am right that I could use an AirTable webhook with AirTable automation to pull across new VideoAsk testimonial data to AirTable?I’m hoping to use this route as an alternative to using Zapier etc unless there are other limitations to this approach. Thanks!

I recently received responses back from a respondent and for some reason one response came through as an mp3 audio file instead of a mp4 video. All the questions have video as the only option for responding. I double checked the question at issue and it was set on only video response allowed. Do you know how it could have recorded an audio response instead? And is there any way for me to salvage the video from that question?

I am new to VideoAsk and consider it using as a landing page in fullscreen (i.e. above fold) for mostly mobile users.When testing I noticed a poor performance (4s or more, even on my 300MBits FTTH line).Is anyone using it successfully in fullscreen mode? I am trying to integrate VIDEOASK with AIRTABLE using MAKE for job interviews. I am able to find the FIELDS with the link to the video for each question recorded, but I am wondering if there is a link to the complete recorded job interview. If yes, what is the field I need to look into? Thanks !

Is there a way for the respondents screen to fit the whole video? It is cropped now but records in 16x9.

Hello, I would like to scroll through the questionnaire/survey using only 1 key on the keyboard (without the mouse). Is it possible ?

We need to create two identical surveys in VideoAsk, one in English and one in Spanish.I duplicated the English VideoAsk that we developed to create the Spanish version. The English version had two videos with English closed captions. In the Spanish version, I pasted in the Spanish text into the caption editor.Somehow, this changed the captions on the English version to Spanish... why??? How can we fix this so that we have English captions for our videos in the English VideoAsk, and Spanish captions for our videos in the Spanish VideoAsk?This is time sensitive- advice would be very much appreciated.

I need high quality video submissions, and would like to use the “Uploaded” setting for the recordings, however I cannot rely “Uploaded” recordings because your video player does not work well with IOS. I have no way of knowing whether a responded is using IOS or not. Therefore, I must use “Streamed” recording setting, but the quality suffers. When will the Uploaded recording setting integrate well with IOS, if ever? Do you have any other suggestion on how I can get the best quality recordings without risking poor quality videos from iOS users?

Using VideoAsk as a ConvertKit thank you page could be great if you could use VideoAsk variables. (https://www.videoask.com/help/tracking/360040307552-use-variables-hidden-fields-to-add-contact-information-to-your-videoask-url)This way you could say hi to each new subscriber on your e-mail list and respond without having to ask them for an e-mail address.Right now that is not possible, because ConvertKit does not allow us to put variables inside the thank you page confirmation url.Could you please help and give your vote to this feature request? Has anyone tried using a videoask form for a social “link in bio”? I have used it for similar purposes (such as soliciting questions), and the features seem to be there. What are the pros and cons? I am concerned with the bounce rate at the start, as whatever option a user is seeking might not be immediately visible. I’m considering an experiment, and would love the community’s thoughts!

Hi, for some reason when I embed my VideoAsk into my website, it loses the “side by side” functionality that i see in the builder.Instead of keeping the video on the left and the answers on the right, it takes up the whole iframe with the video and the answers are overlayed ON TOP OF the video, which makes it impossible to watch the video or to see all the text in the answers.How do I get it so the layout that we see in the builder is maintained once embedded? It doesnt make sense that the layout changes but i can’t figure out how to fix it Thank you
