Build your typeform

Hi, Hope everyone is doing well :)I have an existing Typeform and I would like to add some more questions to it.However, I do not want to compromise current responses in the Gsheet. My thought process is that once I add the questions to the form, I would need to then create the new columns in the Gsheet. Then once I publish the from, new entries will be recorded in order. I will have previous data without those columns populated, and new data with those columns populated. (I have the form / file integrated with Zappier) Is this the right process?Many thanks in advance. BR

Hi - In surveymonkey, when you select “add other”, you’re able to change the copy of “other” to something else, while still letting the respondent use the open text box.  My example is that I want to ask the question “is this your first cleanser purchase” with options: YesNo (please input most recent product purchased)  I cannot find out how to do this - can someone help? 

I will do this survey for a event tomorrow that will give a bonus for who answers the questions correctly. But the answers still saved on the quiz and the other would have the answers done. How can i reset the answers? { PS: Using a windows notebook}

Hello all, I am trying to create a survey that has four different sections which can have multiple ending based on scores. Is this possible or will I have to create a separate survey for each instance? Thank you. 

Hello, I am trying to create a feedback form for an event and when I choose the multiple choice option, I think it is the right one, I would like to put in the answers only if I liked it, didn't like it, if it was average but this format comes with the answers listed alphabetically, that is, A Bad; B Bad; C Average; D Good; E Very Good. But it doesn't make sense for my questions to have these "letters" before the answer option.I'd like to know if I'm using the correct option or if there's a different one that's more appropriate for this type of question.Thank youPaula Caet

Hi all, I would like to add the option of choosing one from 3 payment plans at the end of the form and each plan will have inclusions and price maybe in 3 columns but not sure how to acheive thisso far i only created a multi option but it looks terrible as i had to do all description above as a text and then just put option A,B or C on the bottomanyone who tried to creatd nice 3 multi option?

Hello! I am struggling with the survey I am creating. I am asking my customers about the different types of furniture they bought from us. To do that, I made multiple questions "slides" with everything detailed, "sofa", "chair",...(the people I will send my survey to will have the option to choose more than one option in order to have more accurate results)…… Following this, I created more "slides" detailing each product by category (same as the "sofa", "chair",... ,above). However, I have trouble every time I try to run my survey; if I select sofa and chair out of the 7 options available, I will automatically skip the options before, but after responding to these two, I will still have to reply to all the rest even if I did not select it, I try to change it by making it mandatory skip it to the next relevant question, however, than I can only reply to one thing I selected out of 2/3 items I selected. I am sorry if this may sound confusing. I appreciate your help,Regards,Juliette

I am a new user on the Basic plan. I created one typeform and have a few live responses. I am trying to duplicate this form to create a related form with some edits. When I try the duplicate function I get a ‘something went wrong’ error message. Any ideas what is happening?

could typeform create quiz like this company’s?https://www.vitable.com.au/ it is a vitamin company that create custom blend of supplements. you answer questions such as “what you would like to improve on” “ are you pregnant” etc and in the end spits out the combination of supplements they recommend. it will take you straight to the cart and a customer does have a choice to add more or remove the ones they suggested  look forward to a reply thank you 

In the classic editor, I was able to manually tweak the field reference IDs, which is vital when submitting a form to a webhook. I can’t see how to do this now in the ‘new’ editor. Any ideas?

I’m having an issue with linking properly from a multiple-choice question which allows multiple options to be selected.I’ve added rules for each option to ensure that if a user selects those options at the multiple-choice screen, the follow up screens will go to those options. But that does not seem to be happening. Instead, some of them seem to be working properly whilst others are getting skipped or they’re being followed up even if that option was not selected at the multiple-choice screen. Can somebody please assist me to correct this? 

Good afternoon.I'm still testing the platform for free, so I don't know if my doubts are directly related to the fact that it's a free account.The first question is that I intend to have an introductory text for the satisfaction survey (similar to what is done in Google Forms) but I don't see this option active on my side. Is this possible to be done?The second question is related to the fact that between questions, I want to place some short texts (without an answer option) where I introduce the following question or questions. I only have one option available that puts quotation marks and that doesn't make sense.Thank you for the help

Even aftaer I remove this screen, when I return to logic the typeform automatically places a new screen.I wouldn't want people to see any screen, how can I resolve this? Tks!

Me again! I am building an application form and want to collect existing loan details. So I want to ask, for example, how many credit cards do you have? I then want a separate group of questions, equal to the number of credit cards they have stated. For example, they say 3 credit cards, so I want 3 groups that will ask who the lender is, that the current balance is, how much is paid each month.Can this be done?

Hello,I was wondering if it would be possible to set the background of the form in one color and the questions in a different color. Like in here:As you can see, the background is in a different color then the question itself 

I’ve been a member of typeform since 2017. The form that took me over a month to design is no longer allowing changes or updates. I was told years ago that I could keep my plan but now they have removed features which is not fair. My form won’t allow picture changes, link changes or anything. It has so many logic sequences that it will take a several weeks to rebuild. this is truly not fair to paying subscribers. Then to make matters worse there is no phone support for something as tedious as this.

What should I do to ensure that the person responding to a survey is, in fact, the person to whom the form was sent? Thanks!

Hello!We currently use Typeform to create FAQs. The thing is, one of these FAQs is very long. It’s just a long list of questions for the user to click. At the very end, there’s a “Other” option for the user to type their question in case they didn’t find it in the list.I want to make things easier for the user, as I’m sure seeing a long list is a bit daunting and we don’t want to demotivate them or to make them feel like they’re wasting their time. I’m looking for tips to manage this long list, whether it’s by growing and optimizing the logic tree or changing the design.Any tips?

Hello,We would like to customize the options of a question. In such a way that we could put a title, an image and a description for each of the options, as in this case:  

Hello,I wanted to know if it would be possible to add a formatting constraint on a user's response.Example:The question is: How tall are you?For the response I would like to set 2 restrictions:  Only type numbers, not letters.   Include a restriction on the number of characters that can be typed, in this case a maximum of 3 numbers for example.We would like to know if it is possible to make one or both points described above.
