VideoAsk COPPA

I would like to know if there is a VideoAsk Kids, Safe Mode, or another option that is COPPA compliant. I would love to use VideoAsk for direct-to-youth engagement but lack of disclosure around COPPA is a barrier.

Disable VideoAsk Response autoplay

We’re embedding response videos into our app and our users have shared that the autoplay functionality is distracting. To be clear, the audio is not playing, but the video plays without sounds as soon as you load the page. How to make Video Ask statements mandatory?

Hello Community,I experience the following challenge and would love to get some thoughts from you guys on the topic:Built a Typeform in which I embedded 2 Video Asks - all works out fine. The thing is just that one of the 2 Video Ask shall be a “mandatory” answer meaning respondents must answer via video in order to move on. Is there any way to have a video ask embedded as mandatory question?Thanks for your help

Submitters should be filtered out if their submissions are incomplete

Hello Everyone! Our organisation works with various brands. We consistently explore and find out new customers and new clients. We have arrangement a VideoAsk to get familiar with a portion of their image inclinations.The reactions are then shipped off Google Drive where we have a couple of robotisation arrangement to create a brand profile. Nonetheless, in the event that we get a fragmented accommodation (because of a client leaving the page prior to finishing), it breaks the computerisation.Is there a way that we can sift through the inadequate reactions (utilising labels or potentially zapier) so just the total reactions are shipped off Google Drive? I would like to discuss this more here.

Black Embedded Iframe

Hey community I just dropped my VideoAsk flow onto my homepage - but in the iframe the video element is blocking the image in Chrome and Safari, and as it has a black background.https://darkside.ltdLooks like it’s some sort of CSS bug.Now I’ve run into problems like this before by using meta colour-scheme for native darkmode UI components.<meta name="color-scheme" content="dark light">So I removed it.No idea what it could be, totally ruins the whole thing.

Filter out incomplete submissions

Our company works with a number of different brands. We have setup a VideoAsk in order to learn some of their brand preferences. The responses are then sent to Google Drive where we have a few automations setup to generate a brand profile. However, if we receive an incomplete submission (due to a user leaving the page before completing), it breaks the automations. Is there a way that we can filter out the incomplete responses (using tags and/or zapier) so that only the complete responses are sent to Google Drive?

Change Camera from default Facetime camera

Greeting from Atlanta, GA! So here’s the issue - I like to record live instead of uploading a previously recorded video. When I access the video recording in the workflow, I’m not able to change the default camera on my MacBook Pro (the FaceTime Camera) to an external camera, in my case a Mevo camera connected via USB.However, when I sent a video question to support, there were setting controls that allow me to select the camera and audio device I wanted to use. I’m not seeing this same feature when creating video inside a workflow. Am I missing it? Is this not an option for live recordings? Thanks for any help!

Email address confirmation alert

We use Videoask embedded in our application to allow applicants and employers to exchange questions and answers. Today one of our candidates hit a screen asking her to confirm her email address.Hi--I am attempting to record a video, and hitting something unusual. The record window was flashing on and off, then a new notice window popped up saying it was sending an email to verify my access? Could not complete video recording. This is the first I’ve heard of this and as you can see in the screenshot, there is no email included. It says “We have sent an email to .”Is this a bug? Anyway around it? I’m concerned it’s going to hurt her ability to land the job if she can’t respond to the employer in a timely manner.

Edit form with API

Hello there, I'm trying to figuring out the API and I've got some problems. How do I change questions in the form? I mean remove / rearrange.I think this endpoint should do that: https://api.videoask.com/forms/{{form_id}} and I can see that it's being called when I change form from VideoAsk app. But I'm not sure how to do it (what parameters should be passed). So let's assume I have form with questions:[1, 2, 3]If I want to change it to be:[3, 2]What request should I make?

Measuring videoask abandonment

I have 2 videoasks set up - one in English and one in Spanish. The end of the sequence is that they schedule a consultation with me on calendly. I am getting now a lot of notices of interaction and very few appointments set. I wondering about how I can assess what is going on. I would assume we have users abandon the flow. A few questions: The notice of interaction. Is this the page where the user last was? The button -the answer -highlighted: is that the users last interaction? Is there any kind of redirect on abandonment I can do? For example, redirect to a page saying, “would you just rather talk to us by phone?’” or something. is there a way I can better measure abandonment?Thanks

Zapier integration with Google Drive and VideoAsk

Hi there. I am trying to set up a basic zap to upload any videoask response videos to Google Drive. Any idea why I can’t get any of my VideoAsk response videos to upload to Google Drive? I have the Zap live, and I have added new responses in VideoAsk, and I have set up many Zaps before, so I generally know what I am doing. I tried creating the zap from Zapier, and I tried deleting and kicking it off from within VideoAsk. What is the proper ID to use to pull the actual mp4 file of a video response over to Google Drive? Wondering if I am pulling the wrong item. I have Zapier tech support working on this as well. Appreciate any assistance.

Integrate VideoAsk using Make Integromat

Hello community. I am using VideoAsk in Make/Integromat. I was wondering if anyone tried to use a “Watch Form Response” module, but with the Form ID input being provided into the module from another module, rather than specified explicitly. My issue is that I generate VideoAsks automatically through another Make scenario. For every such added VideoAsk, I also would like to add the “Watch Form Response” scenario, but the Form ID isn’t known at the time “Watch Form Response” is being configured. I basically need to dynamically feed it the Form ID of the new Videoask, after it has been created. How can this be done? Thank youBoris

CORS errors from embed

Beginning today (or at least we noticed today) we started getting CORS errors from our embedded VideoAsk videos trying to reach https://api.videoask.com/gnikcart. I believe this is some kind of event tracking that the embedded video player is trying to trigger. trackSharingPageEvent CancelledRequestError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.trackCustomError: ignoring [TRACK SHARING PAGE EVENT] CancelledRequestErrorObject { event: "ab_test", authorId: "...", properties: {…} }CancelledRequestError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource. g index.js:141 k _app.js:197 c custom-errors.js:96 y request.js:126Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://api.videoask.com/gnikcart. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing). Status code: 200 It’s creating a lot of noise in the console. Is there a way to suppress these tracking attempts?

Widget on free Wordpress.com site?

I've been persuading my friend to use videos for their website and spent time today getting a widget set up for their website. However, I’d assumed their website was Wordpress.org but it’s actually a free plan of Wordpress.com. You apparently can’t use plugins or iframe in that plan, so I’m assuming they can’t actually use the widget? Has anyone got any ideas on how to get around it (other than moving to paid plan, we’re trying to get them set up with minimal expenses!)Thanks :)

Integrate videoask record link automatically in a field

Hi all, I’m currently building an app, where user populates a standard form. At the end of the form, he’s asked to record a video by clicking on a button, leading him to a Videoask popup. I would like to make things like this: once he finishes recording, the link will be generated and goes automatically in the form (there’s a field for that). That way, the user does not have to copy/paste the link from Videoask to the form. I was wondering if I won’t get any issue regarding privacy matter, by using the API. Could you help me on that please?

Integrating variables into the logic of a record

Hi everyone,I would like to use the Videoask variables in our conditional paths but I can’t find exactly my query…Here’s my problem:I want to use the variables to track my registrants in the funnel to send them to different paths conditional on a certain stage of the video... according to the variable assigned to them.Example:I have to send my registrants to different redirect links (several Calendly links) depending on the variable that is assigned to them.> Can variables be used in the logics of a step?
