Questions about your typeform results and data

I understand typeform supports “Save and Return” feature and it cannot be disabled. However, it appears that “Save and Return” is even activated when the URL is different with a hidden variable. E.g.if I have a typeform with url:https://aaaa.typeform.com/to/XXXX#hidden=1The previous unfinished form data will be visible even with a different hidden variable e.g. https://aaaa.typeform.com/to/XXXX#hidden=2To me, they should be considered different entries and previous unfinished form data shouldn’t be pre-populated in the new form. I consider this a bug. Please let me know your thoughts. Â
Hello everyone!I would like to organize a small fair with a maximum of 50 people and ask how many people will be registered in my form. It is possible that each person who fills out the form registers several people. But that should end at 50.Does Typeform have the option of adding up the number of registrations from the response and then closing the form? Thanks in advance!
Hi there ! I’m doing one typeform for different landing pages. I’d like a way to track which landing page generated the typeform and for that data to be included in a column in gsheets? For example column source would say : website/url1/ or website/url2/ based on where the typeform was clicked on and completed. IReally looking for someone who can help - this is noob stuff i’m just not good at it yet !Â
I am new to this.I have a Growth Mindset 8 question quiz but I cannot create a total score. For example if you score between 8-17 then you would have one outcome description. If you scored 18-32 then you woud have a different one etc. Each question is multiple choice. fFour questions have a value 1 thru 6 or and four questions have a value of -1 thru -6..I need someone who has experiece and know how to help me untangle my mind on this. :-)Â ThanksEugene
Hi all,I have a question about device classification. In the Results > Insight tab, I can use “device” filter. I would like to understand how Typeform classifies the devices. Is based on the User Agent? Or maybe on the screen resolution? Or what else? For example, we are distributing 2 different surveys: one for mobile, one for desktop. We set this rule in our tag manager, but I see in the results that, for the mobile survey, some responses are classified as desktop. And, really strange, no response is classified as tablet neither in the desktop survey nor in the mobile one.Thank you,Livia
How to set up the email notifications to know the ending of the respondents?the message including their ending ?
Hi, even if I set the email notification to send it works for awhile but it just stops sending me notification of completed surveys. It's funny because if I switch to a new email or put my personal, it works great. Please can someone help me understand if exists any block in quantity to send notification our something like that.We already talked to google with our admin account and the email is normal without blockingÂ
Hi,I have a question regarding forms that I use in a course on Mighty Networks. I have several courses where I use the same form. This is causing me some problems to separate the answers when several participants answer in the same form. Is there anyway I can separate them without having them write their names? Or do I need to fix different links to the form, if that is possible? Best regards,Helahl
As a thank you for completing a 15 question survey we want to be able to send them a copy of what they entered, ideally in a way that is beautiful. Currently my options are to extract in table format or duplicate the survey every time and send back as a summary, but this is not scaleable? Â
Hey there - we’re looking to give our form respondents the ability to see what % of other people think the same as them. Ideally they can see the % appear live when they click on their answer, but I appreciate that the answer would not have been saved until the form is submitted so this is likely not possible. The alternative thought was to link them into the generated report, but we don’t wish to disclose how many people have completed the form. Is there a way to hide the response # from the report (and show only percentages), in the same way you might hide a specific question? Thanks in advance!Â
Hi, wondering if someone has had this experience or a possible explanation? Many thanks! We have a Typeform questionnaire, and when people submit  it, we web hook the answers on our back end. So the answers appear on the Typeform results tab, as well as within our WordPress backendThis morning we had someone complete the Typeform (presumably), as we saw it on our WordPress web-hooked backend, including his name and email and some other info entered. But...and this is the odd bit! We could not find his form submission in Typeform results/answers.  Has this happened to you?  Would love to understand it.  Cheers,BelaÂ
Hi,I am new to the “survey scene” and trying to understand how to use this best for our use case as a business. We need to send a survey out to customers and somehow be able to tell who we went the survey to. I imagine that the Meta Data Tags for the URL are the way to do this but I’d like to be sure before committing to a plan. I picture this: URL for the survey is created. I have to manually (or through a process provided through Typeform) enter an ID for example, so when the survey is returned, I can link that ID back to a list of customers. Something like ID=1 is customer 1, ID=2 is customer 2 etc. Can someone confirm I am understanding this correctly and if not, is there a feature that allows me to do this? Nathan
I need to collect questionnaire data which is anonymously separate from the respondents supplied email address. Ideally they fill out a single survey and the resulting reporting is of only email addresses and the reponses without any ability to connect the data (university research privacy). Is this possible without creating two linked surveys? Thanks
Dear Typeform,We are wondering why, let's say there are 3 questions.. How come the question number 2 has higher number of views/reactions/engagement than question number 1? Don't all respondents have to go through the first question first? Thanks. Â
Are there any solutions that enables a response to be sent to an email address that is held in a hidden field?Â
Hi there,I cannot find the option to export my results and analyze them on SPSS. Can someone please help me out? I cannot imagine that it is not possible...please do not tell me I am wrong haha :)Â Cheersomimaloni
Hiya, We have a typeform embedded in our Wordpress site. It is working well. Except when the respondent chooses the “Other” option in a multiple choice question. Usually they should be allowed to type in text and then it should be saved. However, this is not happening any more and typeform is not capturing the response. Has there been some typeform updates that have impacted this? Many thanks!Bela
My forms no longer send to my email even though i’ve not changed one thing in months on my end. I can see them when I log onto my account and look at each form under Responses. However, they are all set to send notifications of filled out forms to my email and none are coming through. I even went to fill out my own form for myself and it doesn’t work with myself either.Â
Hello, I have a excel calculator i’ve built that takes customer inputs across numerical values such as revenue and advertising spends, pushes them through formulas, and outputs potential increases, margins, etc. Is there a way to use a Typeform to ask customers for the inputs we would need for the calculator, and then at the end output the results that would come through the calculations? I was thinking maybe if I put them in a Google Sheet and had the results go through there, but that seems not feasible based on what I’m reading. It seems like Typeform has basic addition calculations built in and stuff, but not the ability to run excel formula type calculations. Or maybe there is a solution I’m not seeing? Like if Typeform results can integrate with another program that can generate dashboards for customers/leads? Not really sure here what the solve would be. Thanks!
I have typeform that I want to send a link via email for completion. I want to send this link with some answers already filled from answers on a previous typeform. I know to use hidden fields but cant seem to wrap by brain around the how. Is this possible?
Hello, I have created a Typeform enquiry form and my question is - is there a way to reduce the place between text and that start button. Coz currently there is lot of space between the text and the button Â
Hello, I am new to Typeform. I have a likert scale survey, with a 1-5 range. In the typeform, I have assigned a numerical score per text answer. However, when I export a CSV report, and then kick it into Sheets, I notice that answers are still in text, not in a numerical value. Is it possible to generate a report that includes the numerical result for each selected answer (per submission, per question)? Otherwise, I will have to do it in Sheets. Thank you, Nicole
I can see how to create polls in Typeform but at the end of filling out the poll, I’d like visitors to be able to see the results of the poll live. Is that possible?
Printing the results or having to go in manually to copy screen shots of rankings, ratings, etc is quite cumbersome. I can deal with the excel data easily enough, but it is the visuals driving me nuts. I thought there used to be a feature on here where responses could be converted to a PDF and downloaded. If I’m mistaken, then is there a way to easily get the visual data representation material? Â
Hello, I’m trying to export a PDF for an individual response. I’ve exported all others and it’s worked fine. Last week I tried to export a new response and it won’t let me export it to PDF. When I hit “save” it gets stuck as shown in the image below. Not sure what to do here. I need to export the individual response so I can send a copy of it to the respondent. Appreciate any help! Â
