Hi team, I’m having some issues with some of my forms. I’ve created those forms: single step poll options single step with a button redirecting to a website I’ve connected a webhook to both of them and here’s what happens: If I don’t use “collect contact data”, the webhook is never triggered If I use “collect contact data”, the webhook is triggered but the “answers” array is empty. Are you aware of this issue? Am I doing something wrong? PS: I have other “single step” forms with text/video/calendar/file upload as answer type and they work just fine. Thank you !

I want to get token from backend but I cannot find any API to get it. I find this API but seem it’s used for integrating in the IU (https://developers.videoask.com/#9d1d98f0-ab59-438e-8b88-6a5e5651d7f9 => Get an access token). Anyone can suggest me a solution?

Hi team, I am currently integrating the video ask API in my backend to generate forms programmatically (among other things). In order to get an access_token, I need to manually get an authorization code from my browser, then call https://auth.videoask.com/oauth/token with the code + scope=offline_access to get a refresh token. So far so good… except that refresh tokens expires after 30 days. This mean that I would need to remind myself to manually get a new refresh token every ~25 days or so to make sure my backend does not break. Am I missing something? Is there a solution to automatize it all? Thank you, Ben

I embed the iframe of my videoask form on a Wordpress page. I put it on the bottom part of the page. When user go to this page, the form attract the visitor and go directly to the bottom, like if I add an anchor. But not! How do solve this UX bug? Hello there, Is there a way to embed the videoask testimonials I have received on my website’s homepage? Most of them are written testimonials, but I would like to be able to have prospective customers scroll through them when they visit the site. I have a Shopify site.

Hi there everybody!While i’m waiting for the support response, want to ask you guys here. We’ve set Videoask up to trigger a webhook every time the form response comes. But sometimes it doesn’t get triggered. I found that “view deliviries” shows “no response” with “Invalid Date” issue We’re using Videoask as an Iframe with 3 variables. Usually it works well, but about 3 of 10 tries ends up with misses Does anyone know what that means and is there a way to fix that? Thank you in advance!

Hi, I am about to start a project and wanted to confirm my understanding. Is anyone able to confirm if I am right that I could use an AirTable webhook with AirTable automation to pull across new VideoAsk testimonial data to AirTable? I’m hoping to use this route as an alternative to using Zapier etc unless there are other limitations to this approach. Thanks!

I am new to VideoAsk and consider it using as a landing page in fullscreen (i.e. above fold) for mostly mobile users. When testing I noticed a poor performance (4s or more, even on my 300MBits FTTH line). Is anyone using it successfully in fullscreen mode? (I appreciate any links/URLs to see how it works for others)

I am trying to integrate VIDEOASK with AIRTABLE using MAKE for job interviews. I am able to find the FIELDS with the link to the video for each question recorded, but I am wondering if there is a link to the complete recorded job interview. If yes, what is the field I need to look into? Thanks !

Hi friends! I’m using video ask for a quiz. I need to take their responses and spit out an individual tailored report emailed to them as a pdf. I’m having a hard time figuring out connections I need with zapier. videoask to google sheets to google data studio to… ? Or should I hire an API/webhook coder? Thanks!

Using VideoAsk as a ConvertKit thank you page could be great if you could use VideoAsk variables. (https://www.videoask.com/help/tracking/360040307552-use-variables-hidden-fields-to-add-contact-information-to-your-videoask-url) This way you could say hi to each new subscriber on your e-mail list and respond without having to ask them for an e-mail address. Right now that is not possible, because ConvertKit does not allow us to put variables inside the thank you page confirmation url. Could you please help and give your vote to this feature request? Hi there! Thanks you guys for helping with questions Is there a way to send the user to completing Videoask question flow from a specific question ID or order if he didn’t complete the whole flow? I know that Videoask is sending a webhook whether that flow is completely answered or not. So maybe I can do this based on that Saw also that it’s available for typeform, but my question related to Videoask Thank you

VideoAsk doesn’t provide a user interface for creating a new Form - unless you do it via Admin dashboard OR create a UI that grab’s person’s video recording manually and create a Form via the API. So the “hack” I resorted to is essentially keeping a separate form - say “ToUpdateForm”. So let’s say UserA owns FormA. I ask UserA to submit answer to form “ToUpdateForm”. My server then calls the endpoint to PATCH question media with submitted answer media. The result is that UserA’s FormA now has the updated question video. Is this the right approach I’m taking or does VideoAsk provide a cleaner interface to create a form so I can just plug that to my user?

Hello Community :-) I would like to translate my respondent’s answers into a visual presentation using Google Slides. i.e. I would like to pull any text, images, videos and audio clips that are submitted into a unique slide deck for each respondent. These are the steps I’ve taken so far: Using Zapier, I created a Zap that creates a new slide deck from a template when a response is submitted Using Zapier, I have pulled through the text into the slides I then ran into a couple of issues. I can only pull through the URL of the any media that is submitted, rather than the files themselves There was no URL available to pull through for images - only answer ID, Answer timestamp, Question overlay text, Question title and Question type. Can anyone advise me on the most efficient method for automating the embedding of images, video and audio into the slide deck? Thank you

Can anyone help with the question below ↓ I want to fully set up Videoask for my users to have a full control to create and manage their accounts and set up questions logic, etc. on external web-site via API. Is there a possibility to do this and have a full-management mechanism through API calls? I just need to provide a possibility for users (employers) interact with flows without re-directing users to Videoask web-site. In order to them to be creating and managing question flows for their candidates etc.

I’m trying to pass the “Score” to my CRM from my Video Ask, but in Zapier, the score doesn’t seem to be passing through? Am I missing something? Hey - I have a VideoAsk widget embedded on my sales page, asking people if they want to book a call with me, but when testing I realised the coffee video is just a distraction. How can I remove the coffee video and have it just go straight to the Calendly times after they click the button? Can that be done?

Hey Videoask peeps! Question for you – I want to embed/link a videoask into my welcome email sequence in Flodesk (my ESP), does anyone know if this is possible? Saw the guide for partial embed in gmail etc but I want it automated as part of my mailing list onboarding campaign. I think this may be a limitation at Flodesk’s end as they have a video URL block in their email creator but not an embed option… Just thought I’d check in case one of you managed to conquer this little challenge already 😅 TIA!
