Followed a Template but not seeing results

Hello! I’m a first time video ask user and I followed a template for my first request. Unfortunately, I can’t see the replies - I just see my video asking for them to respond. I’m wondering if the logic isn’t right possibly because it doesn’t have links for users to respond. Any suggestions?

Overlay text not working on live videoask

Overlay text works perfectly when I test it in the build mode and even in Preview mode. But it does not come up in the live videoask. I am on the “start” plan, Could that be the issue?

[mobile - IPhone] Widget opens in Fullscreen-Mode after clicking on selection button

Hi, I’ve build a kind of Videofunnel where Website-Visitors answer different questions. VideoAsk is integrated as widget. Problem: When the visitor select an item on the second question, the next question appears in fullscreen (without the possible answers). So the visitor has to quit the fullscreen to be back to the question with its answer-buttons. how can I impende fullscreen modus? https://www.moebel-koenig.de

Videoask auto jumps to fullscreen

When i select a option in our embedded videoask on a page in our app. It auto jumps to fullscreen. That's something i don't want. The best is to keep it inside the border (so not fullscreen). Is there a way to fix that.

Assistance Required for Customizing Contact Fields in Videos

I have a quick question about setting up contact fields in my videos. Right now, viewers have to answer a question before they can see the contact fields. I want to skip that step and let them get right to the contact fields because in the beginning of my video i ask their name as if we are having a conversation. For the following video after i ask for their for their email and phone number. Can you tell me if there's a way to make these fields appear right away, without any other answer type first?

Reply to many: when connecting to a new videoask, can the name and email information be embedded?

I am using videoask as a way to interact with people in keynotes. I would like to “reply to many” with an additional videoask… When I tried this, everyone had to retype their personal information. Is there a way I can reply to many with a videoask where they do not need to re-enter their details? Thanks.

Hi all Is it me, or is Video Ask Support team understaffed or something? They are taking a long time to reply to emails. For example, I emailed on 27 March and chased on 4 April, and still have not received a response. I am looking to subscribe to the Brand package but it seems that my emails are not being treated as a priority. I have a survey due to be launched on 1 May but need an answer to a question urgently before proceeding. Any ideas. Thanks. Rob

Questions not showing since yesterday

We use video ask for recruiting and since yesterday all candidates have reported that videoask is not working, when I try it it shows the video and allows to record, but not the question in text. is anyone else having this issue?

How do I set the button color and font color?

I have embedded a VideoAsk on my website but the button text is invisible. In the VideoAsk builder, the buttons look a little better but this is not how they render when I play the VideoAsk in my site. This article has some vague instructions for customising VideoAsks, but it’s not clear about what the Primary, Secondary and Background colours are referring to. https://www.videoask.com/help/branding/360050487192-create-default-videoask-settings I need to see the background colour of my button to something dark. I need to set the font colour of my button to something bright. I need sufficient contrast between them so that they text is readable. I don’t care much about the colour of the button letter and its circle. Reading the letter is not very important to my visitors. Can anyone guide in in the right direction to set the button background and font colours? Thanks, Neil

Replace the code at the end of the confirmation email subject with the name of the VideoAsk?

Hello, I am trying to work with the very limited “confirmation emails” that VideoAsk provides. I have requested that the live link to the VideoAsk be removed (so users can’t re-answer it) and now I am asking if you can help me understand what is the code (i.e. 7629, ucFc, etc) at the end of the subject line? The subject lines look like this: Your response has been submitted! (ucfc) Your response has been submitted! (7429) Could you just replace with the code with the name/title of the VideoAsk? That would be so helpful for sending this to my clients. So they know what confirmation email is associated with what question? The randomized code means nothing to their understanding. Thanks for any help as quickly as possible!

Tag manager doesn't work, there is not way to track conversions on google ads

Hi. I connected my GTM container in tag manager to videoask, but nothing happens. There are no events, no pixel, no conversions, there is absolutely nothing in tag manager account or container related to video ask. I need to track leads from google ads, so those who complete the form step, and I cannot find a way it’s unbelievable. Also, UA analytics doesn’t work anymore and GA4 integration is not supported. How any of you is tracking leads from google ads ? I must not be the only one having this problem.

Why does the movies appear different in Safari and Firefox vs Chrome

Hei! When i use ?fullscreen and ?justvideo i the code to the movies, they dosent appear the same in every browser. In Chrome its the way it should be, but in Safari and Firefox its not the same. ..Erik

iPhone embed issues

I am not sure my issue is the same as what is shared here. On my desktop, the VideoAsk embed shows up fine. On my iPhone the video is tiny and even when expanded (not intuitive, I did not notice how to expand it for several tries), the reply feature does not appear.

How to embed a VideoAsk conversation in a new way

Hey Community, I would like to embed a VideoAsk conversation on a webpage where it shows the entire conversation automatically and has the option to send a reply. Ideally it would look like a blend between these two pages: Image 1: Conversation share url Image 2: Embed In image 1 you can see and re-watch every message that has been sent in the conversation. However, this has to be toggled on in the backend (see image 3 below). Image 3: Is it possible for the show replies toggle to be switched on by default? Is it possible to create an embeddable page that looks like Image 2, but all the replies are shown like in Image 1? Thanks in advance for you help.

Data collector in a specific way

Hello everyone, I'm working on a project and I'd like to know if it's possible to configure the data collector in a specific way. In my video, I offer viewers two response options: A and B. For option A, I'd like a form to appear after the response, and then the viewer to be directed to the thank you screen. While for option B, I'd like the viewer to be directed straight to an external link, without the need for the form. Is it possible to configure the data collector to work this way? If so, how can I do that? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm using VideoAsk to create a quiz that includes 18 questions, each with "Yes" and "No" as answer options. Is there a way to display the results at the end of the quiz, specifically the count of "Yes" and "No" answers?

VideoAsk widget not clearinf even when script is removed from header html

I seem to be having an issue with the VideoAsk widget not clearing off the home screen of a website I am building in HubSpot. I had trialed using one of the further embed customisations you offer by adding it to my header. However, even when I delete this and insert the one I wish to have (the one in black(, it still displays the original VideoAsk one that I cannot remove no matter what I do. Can you please help me to rectify this please, just as the website is due to be pushed live soon. Thanks,

Buenas tardes, Me he registrado y he empezado a trabajar con la aplicación, pero necesitaría que se pudiera escribir la respuesta, no seleccionarla de un desplegable sino escribir la respuesta que el cliente quiera.. Por ejemplo: Si le pregunto cual es el mejor país para vivir.. y responde “SPAIN” que esa respuesta condicionada le lleve a otro vídeo pero si dice “FRANCE” igual… y que sino responde “SPAIN O FRANCE” te lleve a otra página distinta para fragmentar, en Typerforms si que se puede pero aquí no lo encuentro. ¿es posible hacer eso? ¿ se podría actualizar? Edit Email and Phone answer fields format

Hi, I’m trying to customize my contact form in VideoAsk. I want to be able to ask for First and Last name Company name Job title I was able to override the field names but the formatting of the email and phone remain the same for the respondent. So even for company name, it is requested to have the following format xxx@xxx.xx. I could use the Free text to gather this info but it seems a bit tedious for the person answering. Any thoughts?
