Assistance Required for Customizing Contact Fields in Videos

I have a quick question about setting up contact fields in my videos. Right now, viewers have to answer a question before they can see the contact fields. I want to skip that step and let them get right to the contact fields because in the beginning of my video i ask their name as if we are having a conversation. For the following video after i ask for their for their email and phone number. Can you tell me if there's a way to make these fields appear right away, without any other answer type first?

How do I set the button color and font color?

I have embedded a VideoAsk on my website but the button text is invisible. In the VideoAsk builder, the buttons look a little better but this is not how they render when I play the VideoAsk in my site. This article has some vague instructions for customising VideoAsks, but it’s not clear about what the Primary, Secondary and Background colours are referring to. https://www.videoask.com/help/branding/360050487192-create-default-videoask-settings I need to see the background colour of my button to something dark. I need to set the font colour of my button to something bright. I need sufficient contrast between them so that they text is readable. I don’t care much about the colour of the button letter and its circle. Reading the letter is not very important to my visitors. Can anyone guide in in the right direction to set the button background and font colours? Thanks, Neil

Replace the code at the end of the confirmation email subject with the name of the VideoAsk?

Hello, I am trying to work with the very limited “confirmation emails” that VideoAsk provides. I have requested that the live link to the VideoAsk be removed (so users can’t re-answer it) and now I am asking if you can help me understand what is the code (i.e. 7629, ucFc, etc) at the end of the subject line? The subject lines look like this: Your response has been submitted! (ucfc) Your response has been submitted! (7429) Could you just replace with the code with the name/title of the VideoAsk? That would be so helpful for sending this to my clients. So they know what confirmation email is associated with what question? The randomized code means nothing to their understanding. Thanks for any help as quickly as possible!

Hello, I've been using Typeform's lead generation templates and have been getting good results, but I want to try VideoAsk as well. Generally, how have your conversion rates been with VideoAsk? Additionally, have you achieved better results with it compared to lead generation quizzes? Thanks.

iPhone embed issues

I am not sure my issue is the same as what is shared here. On my desktop, the VideoAsk embed shows up fine. On my iPhone the video is tiny and even when expanded (not intuitive, I did not notice how to expand it for several tries), the reply feature does not appear.

How to embed a VideoAsk conversation in a new way

Hey Community, I would like to embed a VideoAsk conversation on a webpage where it shows the entire conversation automatically and has the option to send a reply. Ideally it would look like a blend between these two pages: Image 1: Conversation share url Image 2: Embed In image 1 you can see and re-watch every message that has been sent in the conversation. However, this has to be toggled on in the backend (see image 3 below). Image 3: Is it possible for the show replies toggle to be switched on by default? Is it possible to create an embeddable page that looks like Image 2, but all the replies are shown like in Image 1? Thanks in advance for you help.

Data collector in a specific way

Hello everyone, I'm working on a project and I'd like to know if it's possible to configure the data collector in a specific way. In my video, I offer viewers two response options: A and B. For option A, I'd like a form to appear after the response, and then the viewer to be directed to the thank you screen. While for option B, I'd like the viewer to be directed straight to an external link, without the need for the form. Is it possible to configure the data collector to work this way? If so, how can I do that? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm using VideoAsk to create a quiz that includes 18 questions, each with "Yes" and "No" as answer options. Is there a way to display the results at the end of the quiz, specifically the count of "Yes" and "No" answers?

VideoAsk widget not clearinf even when script is removed from header html

I seem to be having an issue with the VideoAsk widget not clearing off the home screen of a website I am building in HubSpot. I had trialed using one of the further embed customisations you offer by adding it to my header. However, even when I delete this and insert the one I wish to have (the one in black(, it still displays the original VideoAsk one that I cannot remove no matter what I do. Can you please help me to rectify this please, just as the website is due to be pushed live soon. Thanks,

Buenas tardes, Me he registrado y he empezado a trabajar con la aplicación, pero necesitaría que se pudiera escribir la respuesta, no seleccionarla de un desplegable sino escribir la respuesta que el cliente quiera.. Edit Email and Phone answer fields format

Hi, I’m trying to customize my contact form in VideoAsk. I want to be able to ask for First and Last name Company name Job title I was able to override the field names but the formatting of the email and phone remain the same for the respondent. So even for company name, it is requested to have the following format xxx@xxx.xx. I could use the Free text to gather this info but it seems a bit tedious for the person answering. Any thoughts?

Editing video from the app

I am new to this and created a VideoAsk on the web browser without a video. Then I opened it in the app and when I click Edit video, replace video, it says “you don’t have permissions to edit this Videoask.” I am a paid customer on the Brand plan. Thank you.

How to edit the 'contact details' questions

Hi lovely people, I can’t find a way to change the ‘contact details’ text, which currently reads “Before we continue, please leave your contact details so we can get back to you.” Is there some way to edit this? Related, I created a ‘next’ button but it says in the middle of the video. Is there any way to reposition it? Thanks!

How to create a Monochrome background instead of a video in VideoAsk

There are some steps in my VideoAsk where I don’t want to have video. Instead, I want a still image in monochrome, it would provide a solid background for the overlay text, eg. black or white. I’d like users to read the text without the distraction of motion or multicolor behind it. None of the available options enable me to upload an image. The library has Pexels and Gify which all move and the Upload only supports video formats. A clunky workaround is to upload a black or white video but that brings up the ‘Play’ button which is redundant in this instance. Is there a simpler way to achieve a still, monochrome background?

Problems generating captions from transcriptions

Hi, I’m trying to generate captions automatically from transcriptions configuring the transcription language (Spanish - Spain) which is the language of the speakers but results are incorrect. It’s like the platform is using a different language. Any help? Thanks, Alex.

Hello, I am trying to create an ADHD questionnaire on your platform. Each question would require its own video. This issue is the logic would become fairly complicated due to the scaled answers. At the end I’d like to provide an indication of ADHD. If the participant places their answer in any 6 of the grey areas this would yield a positive indication. Is this possible to do?

Multiple Choice Question on top of video instead on the side?

Hello, I am new to video ask and trying to create a welcome message for our website that has multiple choice questions to qualify our leads and ends with a contact form. But I want the questions on top of the video, like the Tate Law example, and not to the side. But I don't see how to change this to create it that way. Thank you for your help.

I need to know who completed the flow and who abandoned it. At the end I have an NPS form, so whoever arrived at it completed the flow. Is there a way to retrieve the data of those who went through this step and send it to my CRM?
