Integrate your videoask

Wondering if anyone could help with some simple copy and paste code for a redirect using variables so we don’t need to pick from the drop down list every time. Is there a way to hardcode this? ie: Videoaskurl##contact_name={{contactname}} would that work?

I needed to install one more pixel on the platform, I tried to do it through Google Tag Manager but it didn't work, is there any other way I can do it?

I am trying to use Zap to trigger uploaded VideoAsk documents to be uploaded to a Dropbox folder. I found a great help article on how to do this for videos, but for some reason it is not working for documents.  Anyone know how to do this or what the Python code would be (if that is in fact my problem)? Hello there, I am looking at VideoAsk as a feature to include in the customer onboarding process of my company.I understand I am going to use provided webhooks to subscribe to response events.Now my concern is about wether or not I can pass custom parameters to the response object exposed by these webhooks.Reading your doc I found out I can use URL query parameters. I understand how it works for supported contact information properties (name, email, phone number). I am looking to embed VideoAsk into our website. We have a user’s name and email after they login, and I want to make sure that their video ask is prepopulated with those details. I am using an Iframe to load VideoAsk into my website. What’s the best way to set those fields?  Another follow up question would be to how to populate a database with the VideoAsk of the user automatically after they have completed their interview.   I have the facebook ads integration set up per the instructions here, and the videoask_presented and videoask_Question_submitted is working, but I cannot find the generate_lead event anywhere in the facebook pixel. Is it possible this goes by a different name? Any help would be appreciated 

 Can I control the number of attempts to record the client's video response?For example: I would like my client to record a maximum of 3 attempts per question.

Hello!To measure events and conversions for a form embedded on my website, I plugged in my Google Tag Manager container in the VideoAsk form's settings. I have several problems. I configured the GA4 event tags using GTM and to fire the custom event triggers indicated by VideoAsk (videoask_question_submitted,generate_lead, etc,), however when I go to the preview in GTM, even though I can see the events in the summary, and that the labels are also triggered, the events do not reach GA4, neither in the real-time report, nor in Debguw View and they are not registered in 24 or 48 hours either. It just doesn't happen. It strikes me that when I use the VideoAk url (https://www.videoask.com/f6dyay7ji) in the GTM preview, GA4 does read the events I configured (correctly, I know how to use GTM very well).Another problem. I am not sure that when the container is loaded 2 times (as it is integrated with the video from the VideoAsk form), in the real-time view, it recognizes me as 2 users, perhaps

I’m replacing my calendly with go high levels’s system and I’m trying to build out a video ask funnel that goes from video to an option to book a call. Video Ask doesn’t seem to be working with my go high level calendar link, though. Does anyone know of a work around or fix? 

We use Videoask to display allow users to submit a video response to a video question. Our flow allows users to click “Record your answer” button while the question video is playing. As of recently, we’ve noticed a regression where clicking “Record your answer” will not pause the question video and the audio will continue playing in the background while you try to record your answer. Previously this worked as expected with the Record your Answer button would pause the audio. Is there a way to configure our question to pause as expected? Thanks!

Hi.I have constructed two funnels in Videoask, I integrated the first one with ActiveCampaign succesfully, but the second one even if it has the exact same steps completed is not working.Can you please help me?

Since 21:32 Zapier no longer detects new VideoAsk responses. I've tried everything, recreating the automation, unlinking and relinking VideoAsk, running the test (and it detects it by inserting the test records).I think the problem is due to videoask because the webhook is not sent even trying manually.Zapier does not detect the responsesIntegrately doesn't eitherWebhook is not getting to my server (trying)

I love the ability to get live updates to answers in Google sheets.  My question is whether it can capture ongoing conversations as they happen.  For example. I use a VA to get some information. I then send a video to that original respondant. Can my response be captured automatically?And if that person responds again, can it be captured? In my test it only captured the original respons.

Hi Since May 3rd, I’m not getting any webhooks sent I have my api as well as a webhook logging service, and none of them have been receiving webhooks now for two weeks.They show as being sent on the videoask dashboard, but are not sent at all. The dashboard shows a 200 response, but neither my API, or webhookrelay is receiving anything

Greeting from Atlanta, GA! So here’s the issue - I like to record live instead of uploading a previously recorded video.  When I access the video recording in the workflow, I’m not able to change the default camera on my MacBook Pro (the FaceTime Camera) to an external camera, in my case a Mevo camera connected via USB.However, when I sent a video question to support, there were setting controls that allow me to select the camera and audio device I wanted to use.  I’m not seeing this same feature when creating video inside a workflow.  Am I missing it?  Is this not an option for live recordings? Thanks for any help!

Hello,I did exactly what is described in the article on Google Analytics; namely, 1. Linked my Google Tag Manager account, 2. Linked my Google Analytics 4, but still didn't see any of the four recommended events in Google Analytics 4.I’m confident I am linking my account correctly.What am I missing? this may be a very silly question but from all my searching both here and in the documentation I cant find an answer, I’m taking the json from a webhook and doing some processing of it, ideally I can get the time that a user started filling out the feedback form and the time they finishedby the looks of things the “x.contact.created_at” path will tell me when the survey was opened but I have no clue what would cause an “update”/ change the “updated_at” value. Everything I can find shows how to manually update a contact but these forms are just feedback forms. According to the documentation:“Contacts get created on each page load of the videoask. All the answers in the session will get associated with the same contact. However, if the person refreshes the page and answers the same videoask multiple times, then different contacts will be created.”so I don’t understand how with no manual input from the author a contact could be updatedlike I said this is probably a very silly question and

Is there an option to allow my form users to create a backend user account to my form which gives them access to see only their submitted form results.  For example I have clients that need to submit documentation to us on a regular basis. I would like them to be able to view what they have submitted in the past and what we already have on file for them. Can I pass the form info into a web portal for them or can they log into the form as a subuser (like what Formsite offers).

I embedded a VideoAsk into my website, which works great, but is there any way to change the text on the first step that says “Reply”? I would much rather have it say “Record Review” or “Leave Review”.
