Integrate your videoask

Hello there,  I'm trying to figuring out the API and I've got some problems. How do I change questions in the form? I mean remove / rearrange.I think this endpoint should do that: https://api.videoask.com/forms/{{form_id}} and I can see that it's being called when I change form from VideoAsk app. But I'm not sure how to do it (what parameters should be passed). So let's assume I have form with questions:[1, 2, 3]If I want to change it to be:[3, 2]What request should I make?

I have 2 videoasks set up - one in English and one in Spanish.  The end of the sequence is that they schedule a consultation with me on calendly.  I am getting now a lot of notices of interaction and very few appointments set.  I wondering about how I can assess what is going on.  I would assume we have users abandon the flow.  A few questions: The notice of interaction.  Is this the page where the user last was?  The button -the answer -highlighted:  is that the users last interaction? Is there any kind of redirect on abandonment I can do?  For example, redirect to a page saying, “would you just rather talk to us by phone?’” or something. is there a way I can better measure abandonment?Thanks

Hi there.  I am trying to set up a basic zap to upload any videoask response videos to Google Drive.  Any idea why I can’t get any of my VideoAsk response videos to upload to Google Drive?  I have the Zap live, and I have added new responses in VideoAsk, and I have set up many Zaps before, so I generally know what I am doing.  I tried creating the zap from Zapier, and I tried deleting and kicking it off from within VideoAsk. What is the proper ID to use to pull the actual mp4 file of a video response over to Google Drive?  Wondering if I am pulling the wrong item. I have Zapier tech support working on this as well.   Appreciate any assistance.  

Hello community. I am using VideoAsk in Make/Integromat. I was wondering if anyone tried to use a “Watch Form Response” module, but with the Form ID input being provided into the module from another module, rather than specified explicitly.  My issue is that I generate VideoAsks automatically through another Make scenario. For every such added VideoAsk, I also would like to add the “Watch Form Response” scenario, but the Form ID isn’t known at the time “Watch Form Response” is being configured.  I basically need to dynamically feed it the Form ID of the new Videoask, after it has been created. How can this be done? Thank youBoris

Beginning today (or at least we noticed today) we started getting CORS errors from our embedded VideoAsk videos trying to reach https://api.videoask.com/gnikcart. I believe this is some kind of event tracking that the embedded video player is trying to trigger.  trackSharingPageEvent CancelledRequestError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.trackCustomError: ignoring [TRACK SHARING PAGE EVENT] CancelledRequestErrorObject { event: "ab_test", authorId: "...", properties: {…} }CancelledRequestError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.    g index.js:141    k _app.js:197    c custom-errors.js:96    y request.js:126Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://api.videoask.com/gnikcart. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing). Status code: 200 It’s creating a lot of noise in the console. Is there a way to suppress these tracking attempts?

I've been persuading my friend to use videos for their website and spent time today getting a widget set up for their website. However, I’d assumed their website was Wordpress.org but it’s actually a free plan of Wordpress.com. You apparently can’t use plugins or iframe in that plan, so I’m assuming they can’t actually use the widget? Has anyone got any ideas on how to get around it (other than moving to paid plan, we’re trying to get them set up with minimal expenses!)Thanks :) 

Hi all, I’m currently building an app, where user populates a standard form. At the end of the form, he’s asked to record a video by clicking on a button, leading him to a Videoask popup. I would like to make things like this: once he finishes recording, the link will be generated and goes automatically in the form (there’s a field for that). That way, the user does not have to copy/paste the link from Videoask to the form. I was wondering if I won’t get any issue regarding privacy matter, by using the API. Could you help me on that please?

Hi everyone,I would like to use the Videoask variables in our conditional paths but I can’t find exactly my query…Here’s my problem:I want to use the variables to track my registrants in the funnel to send them to different paths conditional on a certain stage of the video... according to the variable assigned to them.Example:I have to send my registrants to different redirect links (several Calendly links) depending on the variable that is assigned to them.> Can variables be used in the logics of a step? Hello! I want to be able to pass a user id and some other info through to videoask to get it from the api. I have contact_name and contact_email working but can I pass my own variables? Lets say like user_id etc. 

Question as above - has anyone been able to integrate videoask this way?

 Hi,  I have created a TF using a few Video ask questions. I would like the Video ask questions to be mandatory. I don’t see an option do that at the moment. Is there a workaround for it? 

Has anyone tried embedding a VideoAsk video? Is there a way to do that so it’s not publicly searchable?In addition, does anyone know how to remove the “Get Started” button from a VideoAsk video? I don’t want to use the VideoAsk to collect information or take action. I just want it to host a non-publicly searchable video that’s embedded in my Typeform. 

Is there an integration that can forward / send the video viewer’s response to my email account?  I understand that I receive a notification, but I am looking to receive the video, audio or text response itself.

Anyone have any experience exporting VideoAsk transcripts to NVivo (for qualitative analysis)?

Hello, reading the API docs of VideoAsk, I found the webhook “form_response” which seems to create the hook when one VideoAsk is fully submitted or has been left. I am using very long forms and would like to integrate the VideoAsks on my platform and then show separate notes when certain answers have been submitted.  For example:Do X after question 5 has been answered How can I access any data of the user DURING the time he is filling it out? Ideas so far:Webhook (does not seem to exist) API call for the answers of a user and then read the answer for a question_id that is question number 5. Then filter out only the answer from THIS user. Or send over a parameter to videoask at the beginning of the session hat will be saved in the answers and by that filter out the correct set of answers and then read it out.  Thanks a lot!
