Typeform conversations

Hello Typeform Community! I’ve created a survey for users to fill out and integrated this into intercom. It looks great on Intercom chat and renders as expected. However if users receive this as an email it does not show the same and is rather confusing.  Is there a way to edit what is sent via email so that they match? or is this something to do with the Intercom side? Thanks!

I am getting ready to receive my first responses to a survey. I work with medical professionals and I use the Typeform survey to identify emotional issues and concerns of employees within a specific medical practice. There is concern from a medical professional within this practice that her comments (not the Q & A, yes/no answers which are data based) are not anonymous. Any advise on handling this as I collate the date and prepare to report to the owners?  

Hi,I have small query on the webhook response that we get when there is a new response to the form.The webhook response returns the token property but not the response id. Will the token and the response id remains the same or it will be different.From the webhook I want the response id but it is not returned. Can I use token instead of that. Thanks in advance.

I have a 7 module online course, with a quiz in each module. I’d like the user name and email address for each respondent to pass through from one quiz to the next. They will probably be logging in and out of the course site between quizzes.I cannot see how to enable this with hidden fields within Typeform create mode - is it possible? (or does this require additional integrations or programming expertise? thanks for your help! Use case: I start the course, provide my name and email on the first typeform, and when I get to the next lesson, the next typeform ‘recalls’ my name and email and says “Welcome back Fred” etc. 

Hi,I’ve created a quiz and my last question captures the email address of the person completing it. However, in line with GDPR I cannot find an ‘opt-in’ consent checkbox to include on this question - where can I find this please?Thanks in advance.

I had shared one of the typeforms with our customer. It seemed to have worked fine upto last week. But as of this week, they are getting the error - What could be the reason? It opens on my end perfect.

Hi,I want to run a study using typform but my university requires that at the bottom of each page / question slide is a link to the privacy/data protection declaration and an email to contact the researcher.How do I add a textblock including the linke and email that occurs at the bottom of each page/question slide? How do I add an email like info@study.com without it being automatically but wrongly recognized as a webpage “study.com” ?Cheers,

Hi all!I’m looking to make a grid type question where the client inputs start and stop times for example it would have 7 rows, one for each day of the week and two input columns where they would input their start and end time. I’m not looking to do any calculations with the values, simply for recording purposes.Thanks!Z

Hello everybody, I want to build a relatively simple questionnaire, but I think I still don’t know typeform’s functionality well enough to make it.Q1: So I have the first 12 questions which will define how the survey is going on. They are grouped in 4 groups, 3 questions each. I want to compare the score that the user got in the first 2 and last 2 groups and the winners from those 2 comparisons define the next  questions. I managed to compare them in the variables, but I believe they don’t store information from a previous question? Q2: The next phase of questions are 15, grouped in 3 equal groups. I need to compare the 3 groups and the highest should be showed as your result in the end. If you have any idea or an example I would be very grateful! Thank you in advance!! 

I want to preface this by saying this post is coming from a place of frustration.Now before I go into technical explanations on this, I have some questions for either the developers or the UX team because it looks like there is a missing link somewhere. People have been waiting for almost 2 years now over here, to get the simple ask of knowing WHAT ending screen users ended up on. I unfortunately needed this information to send emails accordingly. I also want this system to be robust, because it is completely unreasonable to expect end-users or developers even to have to rewrite everything for a minor change in logic to a form. Now, this is already bad, and I think clarity is super important rather than repeatedly saying that “Our product team is currently working on adding the endings into the results”. I’m pretty sure what I’m about to ask for is NOT possible - but it sure would be a nice feature.I am building a lead-gen form and I would like to use graphical options in my answer, with easy to understand text - and map them to product names in Salesforce.For example: Easy to use point and click tool → Product 1A script based tool → Product 2 Etc. - where “Product 1 and Product 2” are pick-list values in Salesforce, and the text versions are the text options in Typeform Is this possible? ThanksWalter

In Survey Monkey theres a “Response chart” that tracks how recipients interact with your survey. You can upload a list of respondents email addresses, and then as they open or responded to a survey, Survey Monkey could track the responses in a way that you can even send them reminders to those who opened but didn't complete the survey. Is there a way in Typeform to do that? 

I’m making a quiz, but I’m not sure if there is a feature for this certain type of question I would like to ask. I’ve included a photo for an example. I would like them to be able to enter an answer for each letter without making it an individual question for each. I have several graphs like this for them to fill out and if their only able to answer one cell at a time, it will be a very long quiz. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!  

Hi Everyone,I am building a form looking like a quizz and I am facing a challenge that I am not able to address. I thought I could use your help and experience for that.Context : I created a Quizz where I would like several respondents to answer the same instance of the quiz together (with one instance and not sharing the link twice). The mechanics I would like to implement : The respondents enter their names (maximum 5) before entering in the form. For example : Player 1 and Player 2 The default use : when you answer a question, the response in the same for Player 1 and Player 2 If the “ * “ is pressed on the keyboard, we can toggle between Player 1 and Player 2 and the answer goes for either Player 1 or Player 2 depending on the toggleWhat I tried :I played a bit with Logic Design but the thing is that it is not adapative. Hi,In typeform we have to create separate webhook for each form. While creating multiple webhooks like this, can I use the same target url for all the webhooks.By target url, I mean the url to which the response will be sent. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m trying to create the logic that in question 1 I have multiple select choice question (say they chose red, pink and blue but not green or black) and then I want the answers they selected to come back as the columns in the next matrix question. Any idea how to set that up? Thanks! Aske

I was creating a webhook for typeform in Ruby on Rails and it is working fine. I was trying to add authentication using the secret by following https://developer.typeform.com/webhooks/secure-your-webhooks/ . I tried using exactly the same code given in the documentation but still the received and actual signatures are different. I tried verifying the payload & secret by converting it SHA-256 in an online encryptor and there the hash produced is same as what i get when doing the encryption in the code. the authorization token passed in the typeform request header is wrong. Can someone help me here. 

How can I put this order in multiple-choice questions? 

We are a B2B consultant and we have a client who has the following requirements:An upload field to submit ID and Passport copies Upon upload, the ID or Passport is read using document reading or OCR. The data is parsed, mapped and then placed in appropriate fields on the form. (e.g. Name, Passport Number, Date of Birth, Issue and Expiry dates)We would like to know if the community can advise if these requirements can be achieved through Typeform and/or using any other third party solutions.
