Has anyone been able to choose a custom thumbnail for videos? There’s no option to choose one and the thumbnail is random. If there’s an option to have a custom thumbnail this would increase performance a lot and be applicable to everyone on the platform.
Have i missed something? i have added the ?hideplay to my link, including & between other hidden features but the play button is still visible
Hey team!I am building a website on Webflow that utilises Memberstack. They have a walkthrough video providing guidance on using a widget that pulls contact information using Memberstack’s 2.0 API. I have a videoask widget on my wordpress page. The widget shows fine, but when you click on it, it opens only a blank page, n way to ask a question or create a video. Any one else have this problem? Thanks
Hi Team, Our webhook was working fine till 2nd of October but after that we are getting blank response through the Webhook URL for all videoAsk pages.Please look into this as a priority and let us know your feedback on the same.Thanks
Has there been a change to the VideoAsk Work Flow that removed the “Record your answer” button? Scenario: When the Open Ended option is chosen and there are two or more options selected (Video, Audio, Text) then the buttons appear to select which option you want to use to answer a question. However, if only the Video Option is available, then the Record Your Answer Button is removed, and the user goes directly to the record option. Is this a bug, or a new work flow? Removing the button for someone to select before recording adds clutter and really doesn’t follow good psychometric principles for Question Answer flow. I really hope this is just a bug, and not a feature. Thanks. Just noticed that in Build mode the Button appears. In live or preview mode, it is missing. I have added screenshots.
All my videos start playing automatically with no sound (instead of a still image) and then when I click the “play” button, the video starts playing with sounds form the beggining. Notcied this was just added in the past couple weeks. Anyone know how to turn this off? I tried using the “Pause auto-play” toggle switch under advanced settings and this didnt have any change.
Hello, I am experiencing an issue with text answers in VideoAskWhen respondents click into the text answer field in the VideoAsk and start typing, pressing the spacebar does not always insert a space as expected.Instead, the space bar appears to control the video (play/pause or record), as if focus has shifted back to the video area rather than staying in the text field. This issue is new and wasn't happening before, the space bar used to work correctly for typing spaces in this exact same VideoAsk Steps to reproduce:Open any VideoAsk that includes an open-ended text answer field. Click the button or option that advances to the open-ended text question. Start typing your answer in the text field. When you press the space bar while typing, instead of inserting a space between words, the video stops or plays (as if the space bar is controlling the video), so normal typing with spaces is not possible.
I already have the video subtitles for all the languages divided into the given times. But I don't know how to add these subtitles to the video, I tried to duplicate the video and create a video for each subtitle, but when I changed 1, all the others changed too. So I wanted to know how to make the subtitles available, either in separate videos or together.
My thumbnail isn’t showing when I copy and paste the link. I’ve tried everything and it’s not working already for 6 days. Please can you help as I can’t do anything right now with the generic thumbnail. It’s a big part of my work and it makes me really nervous. Thanks
Hi all, I’m developing a website and my customer wants to use videoask during the onboarding procedure (when an invited user enter in the website for the first time). In this phase, the user fills various fields like name, job, and so on, and, at the end, he should record a video with some information about him. My customer ask me to do it by using VideoAsk. After recording the video, I have to store something (I think some reference to the video) in my DB, so other users in the community can see the video.How to do this by VideoAsk?Thanks!
The VideoAsk widget restarts video on any website interaction (any html element hover, page scroll etc.). Hi. We want to send our VideoAsk answers to HubSpot using the HubSpot integration. Everything is fine until we have to choose an option to match with any HS field. This is the message that appears in the select field: “There are no fields available to select - please contact the integration administrator”We checked already that the contact form option is activated, and the email field is mandatory. This is happening with all our videos.
Is there an integration that can forward / send the video viewer’s response to my email account? I understand that I receive a notification, but I am looking to receive the video, audio or text response itself.
I have a series of VideoAsks with question prompts. I want the text overlay to stay up on the screen at the end so that viewers can refer to the question while they’re answering. For all but one of the videos, it works fine, but for one of them, the text disappears at the end of the video and I can’t figure out how to change that setting. I see how to adjust the length of time it stays up, but that just makes it start further back into the video, which isn’t what I want. I want the text overlay to start near the end of the video and the STAY there after the video ends. Would love any guidance from the community, thank you!
When I try to log back into my videoask profile it comes up with the message' Before continuing, please help us make your account safer.’Check your inbox to verify your account. But I claim this account for my client and have also obtained the login details from this client. And this notification appears there every time and don't want to bother the client all the time for this.Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
Hi, I’m using videoask to place an interactive educative video on my page, where users decide which of the offered questions they ask to experts.. I’m not collecting any inputs from my users. After one year I checked the dashboard and the results: obviously it didn’t track at all how many users viewed or interacted with my videoask.And yes. It’s been definitely more than zero. Is there something I forgot to activate?
I created a webhook and in all requests I get the error:"No response(Invalid Date)".the url is accessible and is responding with an OK for testing purposes.when I copy the payload straight into my code, my script works correctly. apparently the webhook is not being sent.For testing purposes, I created a new form (https://www.videoask.com/XXXXX) with the webhook pointing to pipedream https://XXXXXXX.m.pipedream.net and the error persistsIt worked well until a few days into the project in production.

Very strange behaviour accured today when i opened a new account after a year or more since i last used video ask. After I finished recording I heard some bipping sounds and then the pc stuck. Ans different apps start crushing. It happened twise. After i restarted the computer which is a very high configured, graphic designer setup. It happand again. I dont have a clue what causes this. Maybe somebody could shred some light
